Amy, from the beginning planning stages to day of, was a dream. We had a bit of unique take on our wedding flowers with lots of color, shape and some larger installs, and Amy was 100% game. She understood my very specific vision and was excited to execute our dream wedding space. Day of the team arrived ready to go and installed AMAZING floral designs at the entrance, on top of our Prosecco Welcome Truck and made sure the interior of our reception was flawless. She interpreted my vision in a way I didn't know was possible - from using unconventional flowers to punching things up with color. I will say, our sweetheart table garland was PHENOMENAL and I only wish I had more time to really enjoy the decor (but thats how it always goes!!). We had four long tables with ~25 guests each, so she created two different centerpiece designs for them, creating an organic and unique appeal to each and every guest seat. We did had a bit of a snafu with our personal bouquets for the wedding party - our hotet's valet staff misplaced the florals and forgot to deliver them to our room. In the madness that is a Wedding Day Amy's own husband raced from Santa Barbara to Goleta to retrieve the florals when the hotel refused to deliver them to the ceremony (don't worry people - the hotel staff had their a**** handed to them!) and they made it in time for our party to take photos with them.

Overall Amy was phenomenal through the whole process. Can't recommend her enough and I cannot wait to get our photos back from our photographer to enjoy the decor all over again :)

Amy is a true artist and her floral designs are gorgeous and unique. She will listen to your ideas and bring your vision to life. Choosing the perfect flowers was extremely important to me; I spent more time looking at bouquets and centerpieces on Pinterest than looking at wedding dresses. My husband and I were married under a immense tree at the Stow House and Amy had flowers cascading from the tree which provided the perfect backdrop to our ceremony. She was able to choose unique and delicate flowers for my bouquet which resembled tiny little stars. The reception was filled with beautiful centerpieces, garlands and greenery in all the right places. She made sure there were flowers in the fountain and provided coordinating votive candles for the tables which added elegance and sparkle. She is easy to work with, as she has a laid back personality with an eye for detail. Hiring Amy was one of the best decisions we made

Amy can work magic with any space. We had a venue that was pretty bare (an empty greenhouse) which she truly brought to life with hanging arrangements and tablescapes. She was one of our favorite vendors on our wedding day. People were raving about my bouquet and how gorgeous the space looked. She is extremely creative and thoughtful in her design process. Her proposal stuck out from all the rest and she was always responsive and flexible. I would gladly hire her again.

Amy was great! We worked with Amy for our wedding. We wanted very simple greenery and bouquets, and she was happy to work with us. My concern was that most people would encourage me to do more, but she did not. She brought our vision to life and understood the vibe and style we wanted. She was very professional and genuinely a joy to work with for our special day. It was also a destination wedding and at no point was she difficult to reach if I had a question or needed details. I enjoyed our planning chats over the phone. She was always so nice and seemed to be as laid-back as me. I would definitely recommend working with her for your next event!

We hired Amy Pihlar of Bright Inc for our Santa Barbara Historical Museum wedding in April 2018. After contacting over seven florists and reviewing their work, Amy stood out for her modern, organic, creative floral design at a competitive price point. Amy was a true pleasure to work with from our first discussion through our wedding day. After our first conversation, she developed an organized proposal based on the ideas we discussed. She was incredibly helpful in offering suggestions to make our floral vision possible while remaining within our budget. She was responsive to all communication over email and offered to meet us at the venue when we were in town. As our wedding approached, she joined us and our coordinator at our venue walk-through to finalize floral decisions. Throughout the planning process, she struck us as unusually kind, humble, accommodating, and perceptive – but never overbearing.

The five shaped floral rings she created for our ceremony were more beautiful than we envisioned. And throughout the venue, she added exquisite touches of florals and greens to signs, seating, welcome tables, dessert tables, and the like. The colors of all floral elements complemented the venue and our attire beautifully. It was an absolute dream working with Amy. As I'm sure it is common with most brides, it can be so challenging to articulate exactly what it is you imagine for your wedding day. From colors and shapes to vessels and flow, there were so many aspects to consider when we set out to decorate our bare-bones, gray, white and glass greenhouse reception. Amy took on the task with an incredible passion and enthusiasm and delivered in both reassuring proposal in the planning process, and even more remarkable breathtaking presentation in person. Amy was also able to create a tasteful and complimentary design for our ceremony site and was tasked with competing with the Santa Barbara coastline and a jaw-dropping California sunset reflecting off of the Pacific. She did just that and more by incorporating the bright colors we were craving with a natural simplicity, creating an authentic and thoughtful contradiction of vibrant and earthy simplicity. Her simple thoughtfulness, combined with her creative approach and generous nature in soothing my "bridal" concerns made her an absolute breeze to work with and left me surprised and in awe on my actual day. She seamlessly collaborated with two other people on our team and was professional, efficient and effective, a task I'm sure can be challenging in any creative profession. And of course, every single one of my guests stopped and admired the floral disco ball that hung over our dance floor- Amy's idea and incredible delivery.

Amy did a beautiful job with the bouquets and centerpieces for my wedding. I sent her pictures of my color scheme and online examples of what I liked. She pieced all the details together to create arrangements that were exactly what I wanted my wedding atmosphere to be. I especially loved my colorful flowing bouquet. Amy is truly a master flower artist. My flowers came out lovely in all the pictures and they were definitely one of my favorite things from my wedding.
