Hey there! Thanks for stopping by to read a little bit about me. I'm Bridget, the gal behind the lens 99.9% of the time.
I specialize in wedding, elopement, and engagement photography because I am freaking obsessed with people that are obsessed with each other. I love getting to know my couples, from how they met, awkward first dates, who put the moves on who, and alllll a dat. I want you guys to get personal with me, and I will no doubt be sharing my fair share of stories too.
I currently live in Reno, Nevada with my Love and our dog-son, Pip. He is seriously our greatest joy in life, and we are very proudly + comfortably in the "Dog parents" stereotype. On that note, dog people are my people so please bring all the furry kids to your session, PLEASE!
My favorite part (I have a lot of them) of being with Frank is how in sync our priorities are to travel, explore, and spend our money on experiences rather than materials. We've checked so many places off of our bucket lists, and still have pages and pages of places we plan to go. Why am I telling you this? Because I would love to travel to or with you too! I am not specifically west coast based, so if you do really love my work, don't hesitate to contact me - I will totally fly, drive, or boat to ya.
Lastly, I know landing down a photographer for such a major amazing time in your life can be hard, and I hope I am the right fit for you! But to help decide that:
- I am very candid driven. Not much saying "cheese" at the camera, it's much more interacting with each other and getting one another to laugh.

Excellent experience!!
Originally we were supposed to get married June of 2020 and postponed to August of 2020 before finally settling on June of 2021. All through the changes, Bridget was happy to accommodate us in anyway possible and if she couldn't, she was happy to try to come up with ways to help us find alternatives. Luckily she was available on our new date of June 26, 2021. Prior to the day of we hit a snag with the rental we had booked and Bridget was more than happy to assist in problem solving and creative solutions- I will always value someone who helps brainstorm.
Bridget made the day of go as effortlessly as our engagement shoot and is a very couple centric, detail oriented lifestyle photographer who shoots with a purpose. Our photos are absolutely beautiful and are truly a work of art. I absolutely love all of our dance floor pictures because they truly capture the spirit of fun! And honestly blue hour is the new golden hour in my opinion when it comes to couples shots. All and all a 10/10 experience with Bridget and her second shooter, she is very open to communication and collaboration and will support her couples every step of the way.

Bridget is amazing!
On our wedding day she captured everything I had on my shot list and way more. My bridesmaids were so excited to meet her because they are all in love with her work (as is everyone who sees it). She worked the entire time she was with us, even putting my veil in and making sure it was secure which I really appreciated because I forgot to have the hairdresser put it in.
We just got some of the first pictures back and we are absolutely blown away. We must have looked at them a hundred times already! Her ability to capture love in the most beautiful way possible is truly something special. Her talent is in my opinion unmatched. We made the best decision ever booking Bridget for our wedding and are so excited to see the rest of our pictures!

Where do I even begin with Bridget.. I met her about 2 years ago at the first wedding I was hired to film and ever since then have called her more than a colleague, but a mentor and friend. I remember being so nervous, not knowing what to expect from every situation that a wedding day entails, Bridget took me under her wing and showed me the ropes. Every single time we get to work the same wedding, I know it's going to be a smooth day with lots of laughs. It didn't take long for me to see that Bridget has a genuine love for what she does and is ridiculously good at making her couples feel comfortable in front of the lens. She is the type of person you want to be best friends with after working with her or beside her (seriously). Aside from how well she works with other vendors and her couples, her work is classy and so so romantic. I would -and do on the daily- recommend Bridget McDonald Photography to any couple who is looking for stunning, modern photographs that will be cherished and passed down for years to come!
