Originally I had hired Bridget in 2018 for our engagement photos and we were planning on going with a different photographer since our wedding was out of state. When I mentioned I was concerned about her not being our wedding photographer to Bridget her response was "ABSOLUTELY I travel!" Bridget is literally game for anything, and can make ANYONE feel at ease- especially every picture hating husband out there. Once you find a photographer who can make your serious husband ACTUALLY want to take pictures- hire her for everything.
Originally we were supposed to get married June of 2020 and postponed to August of 2020 before finally settling on June of 2021. All through the changes, Bridget was happy to accommodate us in anyway possible and if she couldn't, she was happy to try to come up with ways to help us find alternatives. Luckily she was available on our new date of June 26, 2021. Prior to the day of we hit a snag with the rental we had booked and Bridget was more than happy to assist in problem solving and creative solutions- I will always value someone who helps brainstorm.
Bridget made the day of go as effortlessly as our engagement shoot and is a very couple centric, detail oriented lifestyle photographer who shoots with a purpose. Our photos are absolutely beautiful and are truly a work of art. I absolutely love all of our dance floor pictures because they truly capture the spirit of fun! And honestly blue hour is the new golden hour in my opinion when it comes to couples shots. All and all a 10/10 experience with Bridget and her second shooter, she is very open to communication and collaboration and will support her couples every step of the way. -

Bridget’s work and personality are one of a kind. She flew all the way to the Bahamas from Reno, NV to capture our special day and we couldn’t be more happy about it! Our wedding date was 2/7/20 and we just received our photos!! Amazing turnaround and we are so in love with the quality and detail of each and every photo. We can’t wait to hire her for future occasions. Thank you, Bridget!! -

We cannot express enough how happy we are that we chose Bridget to be our wedding photographer. Me and my husband were so nervous going into our engagement shoot because we are horrible at taking pictures but literally within a minute Bridget had us feeling comfortable and we were able to get through the shoot having a blast! Those pictures came out amazing and we got so many compliments on them that we couldn’t wait to get our wedding day captured by her as well.
On our wedding day she captured everything I had on my shot list and way more. My bridesmaids were so excited to meet her because they are all in love with her work (as is everyone who sees it). She worked the entire time she was with us, even putting my veil in and making sure it was secure which I really appreciated because I forgot to have the hairdresser put it in.
We just got some of the first pictures back and we are absolutely blown away. We must have looked at them a hundred times already! Her ability to capture love in the most beautiful way possible is truly something special. Her talent is in my opinion unmatched. We made the best decision ever booking Bridget for our wedding and are so excited to see the rest of our pictures! -

Where do I begin to explain how amazing it was to work with Bridget? She was referred to me from a coworker of mine that has worked with her in the past and had nothing but great things to say about her and her work. We first met when we did our engagement shoot in the middle of January in Manchester, VT. I wanted snow as a beautiful back drop and boy did Bridget deliver on those amazing photos, and she was down to work in the freezing cold to capture what I had envisioned. Fast forward to our wedding in September 2019. She was on time and ready to make magic happen. If you’re looking for a photographer that is super sweet and delivers romantic photos with such a natural vibe and not overly posed. She is your girl!! -

Bridget was incredible. Her amazing personality, caring attitude about the day made, and making not just me but my bridesmaid, mom , family , guests feel important. She joked, laughed, and cried with us. She felt like family the moment we met her. One of my eyelashes was falling off before the wedding even had begun and she ran out and got me some. She went above and beyond. On top of that we got previews the next day. Incredible pictures, incredible costumer service, and incredible person. If you want to have a photographer that truly loves what she does and cares about her clients like she does ... choose Bridget. It will be the greatest decision you ever make. -

Bridget gave us the most incredible collection of wedding pictures. She was wonderful to work with, set us at ease, advocated for us on the day of the wedding against a tight schedule, she was fun, flexible, and above all - an exceptionally talented photographer, with an amazing eye for light and an ability to make you forget there is a camera pointed at you. I am in awe of the candidate moments she and her assistant Vanessa captured. I can't recommend Bridget enough, especially if you want a collection of traditional (staged) wedding shots as well as candid, special moments you likely didn't even notice during the hustle and bustle of your wedding day. We look forward to working with Bridget again for baby photo shoots. -

OBSESSED.
It's a word I've used with Bridget since we met her. I found Bridget while looking for wedding photographers on Instagram and as soon as I saw her account, it was an instant follow and like of every picture. My husband and I met her at a coffee shop and once leaving the meeting, I looked at him and said, "can we book her now?"
She is SO easy to talk to, has such an amazing energy and passion about what she does. It never felt like a business meeting. Any time we met, we'd talk about the wedding for about 30 minutes and continue to chat about our everyday lives, our pups, houses, Reno, Upstate NY and our favorite late night beverages. Bridget became more than our photographer, she became our friend, and we'd be surprised if we were the only ones to say that because that's just the way she is.
She will be our photographer for LIFE. Thank you Bridget for capturing our engagement photos and our special day in a way only you can. YOU.ARE.THE.BEST.EVER. -

Couldn’t have asked for anyone better!
Bridget did our engagement photos and wedding and was so amazing! She was so personable and easy to work with. It made the awkwardness of getting our pictures taken feel so effortless. On the day of our wedding she was so easy going and helped navigate everything for the photos throughout the day. I seriously could not have picked anyone better to photograph our special day and I have the most beautiful photos I will cherish forever! -

The best wedding vendor I had hands down
Bridget and her assistant were by far my husband and my favorite wedding vendor. Bridget is super professional, but super chill And fun at the same time. She was confident in her direction but didn’t make us feel silly which I was worried about not being models and all. Definitely put us at ease She definitely knew what she was doing in giving direction and totally got our vibe from the first time we met. We feel like we got an incredible value for the package we bought as well. Besides being lovely to work with, I am OBSESSED with our engagement and wedding photos. She’s truly amazing at what she does, if she is free the weekend of your wedding (book fast) you MUST work with her! -

The Best! Hands down!
I could write a book about how amazing Bridget is but I only have a paragraph! My husband was so nervous about getting our engagement pictures done until he met Bridget! She put us both at ease with her kindness and her excitement for what she does. She was able to capture who we are as a couple and let us be ourselves! I think her picture portfolio speaks for its self she captures the most beautiful pictures ever! The most important thing for us was being comfortable in front the camera and with Bridget behind it, that was simple. I can never thank her enough for capturing my favorite memories and hope she can capture some more in the future! -

Hands down the best!
I knew from the beginning that I wanted Bridget to be a part of our special day- so much that we booked our wedding date around her availability. If that does not tell you how amazing she is, then I don’t know what will.
Every picture she captures, she pours her heart into. She has such a kind soul that makes you feel unbelievably comfortable getting photographed.
I would recommend Bridget to anyone in a heart beat! The best part of hiring her is that she comes as your photographer but leaves as your friend!
We even recently had the pleasure of her capturing maternity photos for us. Another shoot full of priceless and gorgeous photos! -

Exactly how I pictured my wedding day!
Bridget has an amazing talent for capturing love. Her flexibility to travel to New Hampshire for our engagement photos allowed us to forever have photos of moments in the town we love and built a home in instead of having to travel to New York. She laughed with us throughout our wedding day and not only makes all she interacts with comfortable in front of the camera but also helped us get group photos with each of our 18 tables in a timely manner! I highly recommend her services and plan to continue to reach out to Bridget as our family grows. -

She was willing to travel for our engagement session which was awesome. On our wedding day, she was professional and efficient. She stuck with my tight timeline and was able to wrangle all of our family for portraits (not an easy task!). Bridget also communicates very well with the other vendors to ensure that the entire day runs smoothly. The photos came out phenomenal. We are so happy we chose her to photograph our wedding and highly recommend her!

User2435605 Sent on 11/20/2015Bridget did an absolutely amazing job photographing our wedding in August. From the very beginning, she answered all of our questions and was so patient with us. She was always very responsive throughout the whole planning process.
The days leading up to the wedding she made sure to check in with us to see if there was anything we needed last minute and to confirm all the necessary details. She even took a special trip out to our wedding venue just to see the layout of everything and to make sure she could capture our special moments perfectly.
To say that Bridget is a talented photographer is an understatement. We recently received all of our wedding pictures and we are beyond in love with them. We would highly recommend hiring Bridget and we plan on doing so again in the future. -
User2257790 Sent on 08/05/2015We were lucky enough to be referred to Bridget by a friend, and are so thankful we were! Bridget is wonderfully talented and has a fantastic eye. We hired her initially to do an engagement shoot, and then hired her to do our wedding a few weeks ago.
We hired her to do our engagement shoot, and before even seeing the photos, wanted to book her for our wedding. She is bright, creative, and patient, and her engagement shots came out absolutely gorgeous.
My husband and I can both be a bit shy, especially when it comes to having our photos taken, and Bridget made us feel very comfortable and at ease, even had us laughing during both our engagement shoot and our wedding!
She was very patient and encouraging during the planning process, taking the time to learn the family names, must have shots that we wanted, etc, to make sure to maximize her time and deliver exactly what we wanted from the day. She had her hands full with our crowd - 30+ first cousins on one side of the family alone - but was very efficient and effective shooting our wedding. With the help of her second shooter, we breezed through family photos and bridal party photos at the church and the reception. We've seen some sneak peaks that are amazing and have us absolutely drooling for the album!
In a nutshell, Bridget is exceptionally talented with a great eye for detail, patient, efficient, and a joy to work with. You'd be lucky to have her at any event! -

We got her name through our friends who got married in 2014--we saw their photos and called Bridget as soon as we got engaged to make sure we could get her for our big day. She is incredibly professional and positive- we had the best time having her photograph us throughout our wedding day. She listened to what we were looking for and made sure everything was to our liking. Her second shooter, Marisa, was just as professional and wonderful as Bridget, and they were a fabulous team. We have seen a sneak peak of the photos and they are amazing! We highly recommend Bridget McDonald Photography!!
