Amy was a joy to work with. She was very accommodating and did a great job on my wedding day.

Before I even had a boyfriend and got engaged, I knew Amy was going to be the one that does my hair and makeup. She did the wedding hair and makeup for a friend of mine about 8 years ago and made her look so stunning and one of the most beautiful brides I can remember. I knew I had to have that same person do my wedding. Amy is super nice, very accommodating, and wants to do it right until you are satisfied with your look. She asks you to bring photos of the style you'd like and she just makes it happen. Her prices are very fair and reasonable too. I was very glad to have her do me and my bridesmaids as we all looked and felt great! She used the right amount of makeup, the right colors for me, and my hair stayed intact despite the wind. She was the best decision I made. I was never worried how I was going to turn out as I was 100% confident she'd make me a beautiful bride. According to my husband, my family, and the guests, I was 100% right. :)

Amy Tevis is great! I scheduled a trail run with her and we did my make up and tried two different hairstyles. She gave great recommendations for and what to put in my hair for the big day. I got tons of compliments and was asked many times who did my make up. All of my bridesmaids loved her and her assistant and were really happy with their hair and makeup also. I would and have recommend Amy to any brides or bridesmaids looking for a person to do their hair and make up.

Amy Tevis is AWESOME! My cousin recommended her to me for my wedding and I couldn't be happier! I've shopped around for other hair/makeup artists, and Amy had the most reasonable (I should say, competitive) price for the level of service she provided. After going through a lot of photos from her portfolio, I decided to book her package so she can also do my bridesmaids hair and makeup, as well as my mom.

Amy did exactly what all of us wanted. Some of my bridesmaids wanted a smokey look, others wanted natural and Amy pleased them all! Not only that, I didn't even need a touchup throughout the day. That's how good Amy was. As a bonus, Amy is soooo much fun to be with! She had all of us giggling and laughing while she worked on us. She even had my mom laughing and my mom is super serious! Strongly recommend Amy!!!

after contacting several make up artists for my wedding, i finally decided to have amy do my hair and make up. i looked through pictures of her work and liked what i saw. prior to my wedding day, i had her do my hair and make up for the engagement shoot and was happy with the result. then. i saw her again to do the trial and finally on the wedding day itself. i wanted a natural look, amy listened and gave me just that.

in my opinion, her fee is very reasonable. i ended up booking her on a package since i wanted her to do hair and make up for the bridal party, the two moms, & another two girls.

my wedding day was a long one~! amy and her assistant came to the hotel at 4:30 am, they had everyone done by 9 am for the photo session. amy came back around 3 pm to do the retouch for the actual wedding ceremony and reception. considering the wedding was in july, i was a bit worried how the make up would hold up. of course i shouldn't have doubted amy's work, hair and make up lasted for the whole day and night~!

overall, i was very happy with amy. she is a sweet person who listens to what you want. ( :

I have to say Amy Tevis is the most awesome make up / hair stylist for a wedding. I booked her right away after I went to see her for makeup/hair trial at her place. She literally took like 20 mins to do my make up and i looked really stunning - i didnt agree with this after i got my engagement pictures which was taken that day after the trial. With hair she is quick and makes you look stunning as well. She is SOOO flexible and does how you want it and will change it until you are satisfied. Not like other popular stylists that charge you double and tries to convince you that you look good with what they want. Amy is so sweet and charges a reasonable price. On the day of the wedding she came with her hair stylist that will be working with my bridesmaids - man she is sooo good too! She made everyone's hair so nice even my mom who didnt have much hair and very soft hairlike. Amy did an amazing job with all our make up and on top of that she even put foundation on bikini lines, scars, moles etc. so eveyrone will look good in pictures! I had other friends in the suite and as soon as they saw us they asked Amy to do their make up as well. We all got really great compliments that day on our make up and hair -- Amy Tevis really knows how to do the magic and make you look beautiful on your important day! No sweat with Amy at all and shes very punctual and was even ahead of schedule. I loved working with her!! After my friends showed our pics to their engaged friends. They called and booked Amy right away! I got her 3 referrals the same week of my wedding!

Amy is a great beautician. She did my hair and make up for our engagement pictures, ceremony, and reception. Since in my culture I had to make 3 dress changes, she had 3 different hair styles for my 3 dresses for my wedding day. She was creative and unique with hair styles and she was efficient to get my hair done in my short alloted dress change time. I feel like a princess for my wedding day. Thank you Amy.
