Suman did my makeup and hair for all my wedding events, sangeet, mendhi, wedding and reception. She did an absolute amazing job!! She was very responsive to my look I wanted a modern look for a lot of my events which she accomplished. She also helped me with my outfits and getting dressed. She is very good and she definitely knows what she is doing. She did a different hairstyle at every event which I appreciated ;) thanks Suman for making my wedding day special ;))

Suman did an amazing job on my hair, makeup, and mendi for me and my bridal party on my special wedding day. I cannot say enough how perfect she made me look and feel. I was ecstatic when I saw my wedding video and photos because I did not imagine it looking so perfect. Suman truly made me look and feel like a princess. She is very detail oriented and is a perfectionist, which makes her work immaculate. She made every effort to ensure that my hair and makeup were perfect. Everything from her makeup skills to her professional demeanor was clear evidence why she is the makeup artist to the stars. It was clear to me why generations of brides have relied on her for more than 2 decades. She does not need a recommendation - her work and reputation speaks for itself, you will see. I do recommend that you BOOK HER EARLY because often times she is booked more than a year in advance.

Simply AMAZING!!! I received soo many compliments as a bride at the wedding all due to her attention to detail and talent in getting me ready for both the wedding and reception. She is the ONLY choice for a makeup artist in the MD/DC/VA area.

Suman did an AMAZiNG job. I had a 7- 10 AM appt with her for Hair, make-up, setting my veil, and setting my jewelry. I was an Indian bride but I am sure she can do amazing on any skin type. She is mac-certified and continuously goes after different courses and trainings in various fields of cosmetics. She is extremely talented and now works with models to keep up with the trends and always working to do things differently. Everyone loved my makeup the day of and I was impressed at how methodically yet quickly she works. Although a bit pricey, I would hardly recommend her, especially for the bride who has no time for trials and running to different people for different services the day of her wedding.

Suman is excellent in whatever she does. She makes her brides look amazing and caters to all their needs. Wouldn't trust anyone but suman. She is very courteous and always creative and attentive to the needs of her customers.

Suman did my hair and makeup for my wedding in October of 2015. She did an excellent job for both my traditional indian ceremony as well as American ceremony. She loaned me hair pieces for both looks and did a great job of tying my south indian ceremony. She also had her assistant do a touch up for me since she was booked during that time. I found her to be professional to work with. I received nothing but compliments on hair/makeup. My only issue was that the charge for traveling to the site was a little high...but I think the cost of the actual services were in line with other top hair/makeup artists.

Suman Khosla is hands down the best woman in the D-M-V area for bridal makeup, mehndi, and dressing. I purchased the bridal package from her and received the following services:

1 - Makeup Trial: Best decision. Bring your outfit, and Suman goes through a variety of options to help you decide how you want to look on your big day.

2 - Waxing, Facial, Massage, Mani/Pedi. Suman ensured that I was plucked, moisturized, and had appropriate nails. She and her amazing assistant, Andi, used Shellac polish on me to make sure everything would last well through the wedding day. I also cannot speak enough of the facial. I looked like a completely different person afterwards! And Suman also provided me with a cream to apply to my face as a regimen for the days leading up to my wedding

3 - Mehndi. Suman and Andi worked tirelessly to apply mehndi to my legs and arms for hours. The end result was gorgeous. They also added my husband's name throughout which makes for a fun game later.

4 - Makeup/Dress/Hair. Suman and Andi got me ready for my mehdni and twice on my wedding day. I can't say enough about my makeup and hair! I felt as though I looked like a princess, and my hair (as thick as it is) stayed put the entire time.

Would recommend to any bride in need of makeup/hair/dressing/mehndi!

She and her helper were great- she did such an amazing job with my makeup for both the wedding and the reception, and an amazing job with my Indian outfits for both the wedding and the reception. My hair was covered for the wedding so it was fine, and she did a great job of making sure my dupatta was secured to my hair even though it was very heavy. That said, I didn't love the way she did my hair for the reception. She made it very stiff and done up, which is not what I wanted and after I told her I didn't like it, she seemed frustrated at the idea of changing it. She did my sister and sister-in-law's hair as well which turned out very nice. She also did a great job with my Mehndi. She's a little bitchy to deal with but overall I was very happy with her and looked pretty great (if I do say so myself)

Suman is absolutely amazing. When I initially started looking for hair/makeup artists for my wedding day I scheduled to meet and interview a few vendors, but after meeting Suman first I decided not to look any further. She is so warm and friendly that I felt comfortable with her right away. Then I saw her portfolio and was blown away by her creativity and skills and knew I had to work with her.

Suman and her wonderful assistant did my hair, makeup and mehndi as well as the hair/makeup/mehndi for my mom and bridal party and we all looked absolutely flawless. Seeing my mom, who is usually very reserved about wearing makeup and doing her hair, look so beautiful and confident was one of the highlights of my day. Suman was with me from 7am until 7pm on my wedding day and I'll never forget how at ease she made me feel. She is such a talented artist and kind person, I promise you will not regret choosing her to be with you on your big day.

I highly recommend Suman...very professional, and my makeup was just perfect. She also did an amazing job with my hair and dupatta. Her assistant also took care of my mom and sister and they were both pleased. I am so happy she was able to accomodate me as she was already booked that day, and she is definitely worth the price!!
