Where do I even begin? Bottom Lounge was the absolute perfect venue to host our dream wedding! We knew we wanted to get married in the city and Bottom Lounge perfectly fit our vibes. The space itself is unique, intimate, casual, yet elegant at the same time. Their pricing is also extremely affordable and you get so much built in for the low price. Food was absolutely AMAZING (the best I've had at any wedding) and the drink selection for the open bar was very much enjoyed by our guests.

The best part of our experience was working with Natalie the venue coordinator who we also hired for our day of coordination. She meticulously put together our timeline and made us feel at ease during the entire planning process. On the actual day, Natalie and her team orchestrated everything seamlessly, allowing us to fully savor the joy of the moment without worrying about a single thing.

Also, Natalie's contribution to the decor setup went waaaay above and beyond our wildest expectations. We handed over our DIY decor, and she worked her magic, elevating it to an entirely new level of breathtaking. We were in awe, and numerous guests echoed our sentiments saying it the best wedding and venue they'd ever been to!

To any future couples debating on booking Bottom Lounge, I promise you won't regret it!

We loved having our wedding at Bottom Lounge! Natalie was amazing throughout the entire process and made the day so smooth and the venue absolutly beautiful! The staff and Natalie are all super sweet and so helpful throughout the wedding process and the day of. The food was also super yummy and the drinks were great! We loved being able to get married at a concert venue we love and couldn't recommend it enough!

We had our wedding in October at Bottom Lounge and it couldn’t have been anymore perfect! Natalie is an absolute dream to work with and makes the whole planning process fun and easy. Natalie is also there for your entire wedding to make sure everything goes smoothly and maintains the timeline. The rest of the staff was also so amazing… so kind and great at what they do! Food was delicious! Bottom lounge has an awesome sound system which ended up saving us some money since our DJ didn’t have to bring as much equipment! Plus, the space is great and includes the outdoor deck area! You won’t regret having your wedding at bottom lounge!!!

This was a wonderful location to have a wedding. Our daughter and her husband had both the ceremony and reception there. It's a beautiful setting with brick walls , Edison lights, high ceilings and a lovely outdoor space. The event coordinator Natalie is fantastic to work with and all staff during the event were friendly and responsive.The family style dinner was delicious. We provided our own decorations and could not have done that without Natalie's help. Also,our older relatives were well accomadated and included in the ceremony and reception. Most important ,we all enjoyed the wedding and the happy couple had an excellent time at their own wedding. I highly recommend the Bottom Lounge.

Can't say enough about this place. I would like to start by saying Natalie is a Rock Star, to have a wedding venue where your own coordinator is essentially built in to the price of the space...SUPER rare. She took our vision for our wedding and kicked it up a notch. The space is a perfect balance of rustic and urban, exactly what we wanted!

We were a COVID wedding that had to be canceled, and then rescheduled for a year later (our choice to do a year later!) Bottom Lounge and Natalie were the most supportive and understanding through this entire process, stay in contact with us the entire time and provided reassurances.

The price of this place also can't be ignored, you are getting all the big ticket items in house (catering, Natalie to help with coordination, tables/chairs, alcohol) it's ridiculous to me that all these other places upcharge so much for this stuff because they can or you have to individually contract for all those items! We even had our good friend bake a cake for us that Natalie was OK with us bringing in. We also had a bottle of champagne that had been gifted to us that we asked if we could have at our sweat heart table and they were totally cool with that. They really want to make this your wedding, and it was the most enjoyable experience planning (which says a lot considering our COVID situation. This really could have been a disaster but it was flawless)

We are also a lesbians couple, and it was important to us to get married at a place that was supportive of us, inclusive and didn't bat an eye, hesitate or get confused about "how it works" with two women!

Bottom Lounge is also perfectly located in the West Loop. After our rehearsal the night before, we all walked over the City Winery for dinner, it was so easy and Bottom Lounge let our rehearsal guests utilize their parking lot for the dinner, which was immensely helpful!!

I honestly cannot say enough about Natalie and the entire Bottom Lounge team. It was the first venue we visited and we not only fell in love with the space - but we especially fell in love with Natalie. She was so enthusiastic and made us comfortable with the whole wedding planning process. Throughout the entire process, Natalie was great with communicating with us and keeping us at ease. She was always available to answer all of my questions - no matter how small! She worked with us to create a special menu that reflected our travel theme and incorporated flavors from some of our favorite destinations. She and her team made it super easy and convenient for us to DIY a lot of our decor. We simply dropped them off ahead of time and they went to work creating the most amazing vision. I honestly cannot say enough. When I stepped off the elevator for our final walk through of the space I honestly got goosebumps. It looked above and beyond what I could have imagined. The day of coordination was super smooth and left us completely stress-free. Natalie and team handled all the transitions and made our day run seamlessly - we were able to just sit back and take it all in. Everyone was amazingly friendly. We had people coming up to us asking us how we found such an amazing venue. It is a beautiful space and they do a phenomenal job decorating. The el running past, the concert venue downstairs, the bar and the pinball machines all make for some unique experiences and some amazing pictures. Honestly, I whole-heartedly recommend Bottom Lounge to any couple looking to have a care-free, beautiful, memorable wedding.

I cannot say enough nice things about The Bottom Lounge and Natalie who manages the venue. The view from the balcony with a full moon and the city skyline (lit blue for the Cub's post-season) was breathtaking. The big window with the "L" train as a backdrop to our ceremony was just beautiful. We received so many compliments on the space... it was fantastic. I also have to say a huge thank you to Natalie, who swooped in and saved the day when our dessert didn't show up. She somehow managed to keep her cool and scour the city hunting down enough cupcakes to feed to our guests.. no one even noticed. The Bottom Lounge was a perfect venue for a less traditional, low maintenance bride. Thank you so much!

Highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a unique and fun venue in Chicago! Bottom Lounge is very affordably priced compared to other loft type venues in the city, and their coordinator Natalie went above and beyond to make our vision come to life. We couldn't be happier with the experience we had with BL as our wedding reception space!

I loved having my wedding at Bottom Lounge! Natalie, the event manager, is SO great to work with. She never got impatient with me when I would send a million emails and I loved talking with her. We allso decided to be kind of cheap with our flowers (faux bouquets, bouts from Etsy, and then flowers from Marianos for decor). She was awesome and told me to not stress, just bring the flowers that I got from the store, and she'd put together all the centerpieces for me. Like, how incredible is that? I don't think you'd be able to get that at any other venue. And they looked AMAZING. We decided to spend most our budget on food & drinks so didn't have a lot of room for decor (a lot of it was DIY) and Natalie and her team at Bottom Lounge just made everything look SO GOOD.

I also love that my husband and I can still go here and have dinner and it's where we had our wedding so it feels special. The food is great here, especially for our wedding. The servers and bartenders were all so awesome. I think it seemed a bit unconventional to some more conservative family members at first but everyone got down and partied! We had the room until 3AM but to avoid being hungover the day after my wedding, we ended it a bit early. I LOVE that you have the chance to have your wedding venue for so late!

Natalie was the best to work with! They were very flexible with everything! It helps to be organized and know exactly what you want. Natalie is very helpful and gives suggestions from all her experience.
I was able to choose the food I wanted. The chef works with what you want and you are able to try the food in two tastings.
The space has a loft feel and can be decorated any way you want. The outdoor patio is amazing as well!
There was a concert the day of the wedding but we did not hear it all! The el is right outside but on a Saturday night I honestly don't remember hearing it!
