Borgo del grillo, is an historical abode which has been towering over the Val d’Orcia for centuries. Located in the western part of Monte Cetona, it has a unique view of the valley below, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In our venue, 12 apartments, can sleep 49 person in bedrooms and other 20 person can sleep in the sofabed of our livingrooms. Our apartments, renovated in according to the local traditional style, have been floored with handmade terracotta tiles and the ceilings are of wooden bricks and beams.They have all been furnished in the style of Arte Povera and are provided with fully equipped kitchens, independent heating, satellite TV, satellite internet connection (not DSL), bed linen and bathrooms.

All around us, in the medieval towns of Sarteano and San Casciano there are small romantic churches that can be used for religious functions. The closer, is only 2 km away from Borgo del Grillo. A small, cherished 18th century theatre in Sarteano, Il Teatro degli Arrischianti provides instead an original setting for a civil function. We are waiting for the permission to celebrate the civil ceremony in our Borgo.

wedding lunch or dinner will be served under gazebos facing the unique Val d'Orcia landscape, or in case of unfavourable weather conditions in the Meeting Hall, which will be furnished with round tables or long prepared banquets, with themed centrepieces.
