I had the pleasure of planning a very special celebration at Castello Bevilacqua in Italy over the course of about a year, and I cannot speak highly enough of the entire experience. From the very beginning, Andrea was incredibly attentive, responsive, and thoughtful. Throughout the planning process, he consistently accommodated my requests with care and professionalism, while also offering valuable suggestions and recommendations that truly enhanced my event. His experience and dedication made a meaningful difference every step of the way. As my plans evolved close to the event date, the team at the castle showed remarkable flexibility, sensitivity, and understanding. They were quick to adapt and went above and beyond to ensure everything was seamlessly adjusted, always treating me with kindness, respect, and genuine care. On the day of the event, everything was beautifully executed. The castle itself is absolutely stunning, rich in history, filled with character, and exquisitely decorated. Every corner offers a unique and picturesque setting, perfect for capturing unforgettable moments. It truly feels like stepping into a place where every detail tells a story. The food was exceptional, the drinks were delicious, and the desserts were equally outstanding. My guests consistently praised the quality and abundance of everything that was served. The service was impeccable, attentive, generous, and executed with great attention to detail. The accommodations were also excellent. The rooms were spotless, beautifully arranged, and each one had its own distinct theme and charm. The entire property reflects a high level of care in both decoration and maintenance. Most importantly, Andrea and the entire castle team were incredibly welcoming and gracious throughout the entire experience. Their warmth and professionalism made me and my guests feel truly special. It was an unforgettable experience for me, my family, and friends, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Castello Bevilacqua to anyone looking to host a meaningful and beautiful event. I am certain it will be just as wonderful as mine was.

tl;dr: The staff at Castelbrando are very experienced and easy to work with. They definitely went above and beyond to make our destination wedding so, so special. Castelbrando was the only venue that my now-husband and I visited - it was suggested by his family who live locally in Italy (we are currently located in California). Then the pandemic hit and we simply didn't have an opportunity to see other venues... That being said, we couldn't be happier with our decision! Location: Location was slightly tricky since Castelbrando isn't located in a major city. There's a train station nearby, but you would still need a ride from there to and from the castle. Everyone was able to arrive and leave here no problem though. Pre-wedding planner: Before finding a planner, we were able to make the arrangements with Brunella in Banquets. We chose on-site locations for the ceremony, aperitifs/cocktail hour, reception, and after party. Most of our contact was via email, which was preferable due to the time difference. She mentioned the hotel has wedding planners to recommend since we didn't have any, but we decided to find one on our own - she (the planner) then took over most of the contact with Brunella and Castelbrando via email and phone. Wedding suite: We booked Alcova del Conte for a few days, which was an amazing suite if it's an option for you. It was so gorgeous and spacious with lots of nooks/private areas, a separate closet (perfect for hiding my wedding gown from the groom), a split bathroom, and more, all of which made is perfect for a bunch of bridesmaids to get ready on the day of the wedding. Ceremony, San Martino church: A deconsecrated Roman Catholic church which was somewhat small, but still beautiful and perfect for our non-religious ceremony. As the bride, I waited in the lounge (near Reception) until it was time, then walked up the central stairway to enter the church. There weren't quite enough seats for everyone inside the church, but there was a side room that we decided not to use, and the unseated guests had plenty of space to stand at the back. Aperitifs / cocktail hour, courtyard: After the ceremony was cocktail hour in the courtyard right outside the church. Lots of beautiful views surrounding the castle. There were plenty of tables and chairs around, and the setup for the musicians, the bar, and all the food was perfect with the food spread out across different tables so there was never a long wait. Thanks to the amazing staff at Villa Tolomei, our wedding day was absolutely perfect. We couldn't have done it without them. We didn't have a wedding planner since it wasn't in our budget, so luckily the villa has an events team who helped us with the coordination of everything. Special thanks to both Rosi and Anastasia for their help. The grounds are stunning. We had 80 people attend all from the USA and they were amazed of how beautiful everything was. Even if we didn't have florals, honestly it would have still been beautiful. The location is perfect because it's right up the hill in Florence. Majority of our guests stayed in the city center and we hired vans to bring everyone home afterwards. Some of our guests, and ourselves, stayed at the hotel that night. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic experience at Castello Visconteo. The venue was beautiful, budgeting was fair for the quality received, and everything ran smoothly on the day. The incredible food and drinks has to be mentioned as a massive highlight for the day. A special thanks to Camilla for expertly managing vendors and making sure everything came together perfectly, and to Maya for her amazing support on the day- handling bookings and resolving last minute queries with ease. We would highly recommend Castello for both the venue and the outstanding team.

Borgo di Castelvecchio is truly a dream venue. We chose it for our wedding and could not have imagined a more perfect setting. The views over the Val d’Orcia are absolutely breathtaking, and the property feels timeless and romantic in every direction. Most importantly, the staff were exceptional—attentive, kind, and genuinely invested in making our wedding unforgettable. Every detail was handled with care and professionalism. We will cherish our time here forever and cannot recommend it highly enough.

We stayed at the villa and held our son & daughter in laws wedding there. The place exceeded our expectations! From the amazing staff, who was so helpful in their suggestions for anything we needed, to the accommodations - simply wonderful. We planned this wedding from the States and Ginevra was there to help every step of the way. The Villa itself is gorgeous! The grounds, the rooms and the amount of space we all had (we were 26 staying at the villa) was perfect! And the proximity - Florence City Center was walkable or a short bus ride away and as well as the town, which had plenty of restaurants, grocery, shopping & cafes, was amazing. I would highly recommend Villa Merlo Nero for anyone looking to have a wedding or a large gathering or get away!

I fall in love with Torciano Winery here you can made your dream wedding in a fantastic and unique concept of Wine and Love. The aperitivo and the dinner just wow!! Definitely suggest this location Thank you Torciano winery!

We chose Tenuta delle Ripalte for our wedding because we needed a place that could welcome our friends and relatives offering them everything the sea has to offer, we were in fact guests of the structure for 1 week organizing boat trips, horseback riding and tastings of their wines. The large villas also allowed us to have barbecues and dinners all together. I think that for every anniversary we will return to this paradise. The cuisine and the staff are incredible, their wines and the internal wedding planning service are highly recommended, they have thought of everything!

We’re from Canada, and didn’t once have a chance to visit Italy before getting married there. Stefano was absolutely phenomenal with organizing our wedding and delivering on the wedding of our dreams! He has all the best connections and every venue we dealt with that came through Tenuta’s recommendations all delivered. The venue itself is a dream in itself. It’s beautiful, clean, has all the amenities we needed, accommodating for anything extra we needed and Stefani’s humour helped make indecisive moments and stressful moments feel less weighted. They were prepared for anything and everything including bad weather, as our wedding and reception was planned to be outdoors. They understand the structure and dynamic of a wedding so well that even parts my husband and I didn’t even think of, they had planned for on our behalf and executed perfectly. I couldn’t rave more about this place. I highly recommend. Thank you Stefano and Tenuta Del Gallo for giving us the perfect wedding day!

What makes this place truly special is its unique character; it has something more authentic and unconventional. It has a soul of its own, difficult to describe, which is felt at every moment of the day and captivates without excess. That's why we decided to book the villa for a week, which culminated with the wedding. We had the opportunity to spend time with our closest friends and families—we'd never experienced anything like it before—and thanks to Il Termine, we were able to share so much and create so many unforgettable memories together. During these days, we lived in true paradise thanks to the spa and the private rooms in the woods with jacuzzis, and the line fishing from the boat, an experience we'd never had the chance to experience before. Furthermore, we were able to enjoy the daily routine with many delicious dinners and breakfasts. From the moment we arrived, we sensed a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere, perfect for an important event. The wedding day was organized seamlessly and naturally, with no dull moments: everything flowed with great balance, allowing us and our guests to enjoy every moment. The food was a great highlight, completely local, from the freshly caught fish to the garden vegetables. Every proposal was carefully crafted, balanced, and meticulously crafted; everyone was satisfied. A special thanks goes to all the staff, who handled every step with precision and discretion. We never had to worry about a thing, and it was essential for a stress-free wedding. Even after all this time, we continue to think back on it with emotion: it's one of those places that stays with you, that stands out from the crowd, and that makes an event truly personal.
