Led by Jose Perdomo III, a third-generation visual artist whose family legacy spans photography pioneers on his mother's side and movie theater owners in the Dominican Republic on his father's side, Boogietek was built on a foundation that most photographers simply cannot replicate. Jose began photographing weddings professionally in 2008 and spent years developing a cinematic, unobtrusive documentary style that captures weddings the way they actually feel to live them, not the staged version. His wife Sheila joined the studio as videographer and second photographer, and together they form a creative team that sees your wedding in full dimension. Where Jose freezes a moment, Sheila follows its flow. Between the two of them, nothing gets missed.
