Blue Mountain Bistro Catering is an award winning catering food service and event management company located on Route 28 in Kingston, New York along with our take out facility, Bistro-to-Go. Blue Mountain Bistro Catering has been serving Woodstock, Hudson Valley and the Catskills Mountain region four star Mediterranean food since 1993. Our exclusive gourmet menu has been served at countless weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate and business events throughout New York State. We pride ourselves on our impeccable, professional and honest service and invite you to relax and be a guest at your own event!
Chef Richard Erickson is a graduate of the "School of Pots and Pans". He has lived, worked and eaten in France, Switzerland, Tokyo, India and Indonesia. In N.Y.C. he was the head chef at Two-Eleven in Tribeca, Metropolis Cafe on Union Square, and Bistro du Nord on Madison Avenue. Between restaurants he was chef/instructor at the French Culinary Institute. He wrote "Pizza Pizzazz" which was illustrated by wife Mary Anne and marketed by William Sonoma and Sur La Table
Mary Anne Erickson has been an artist since childhood. After graduating from Art Center College of Design in 1973, she moved to New York City where she was a graphic artist and painter for 20 years. She worked for many publications including The New York Times and New York Magazine, major publishing houses and record companies.
