Kate is the fairy godmother of wedding preparation, strategizing, supporting, and just overall giving her all in making sure her clients have everything they need and want for their wedding day. Her team was amazing! They all seamlessly helped our day flow without a hiccup. Their collaboration gave us a flawless day where we just focused on being present in moments that are now some of our favorite memories. Kate stuck with us and gave us the energy and confidence to continue planning our Wedding during COVID-19 after we had to postpone from April to August. She had our back and never passed judgment on any decision we made. She and her team are in this business for all the right reasons. You know you’re working with a pro when your coordinator can take an event of 200+ and adjust down to 60 without hesitation. Kate knew what to do to make the reception still look great and fill the space with a smaller guest list.

To quote Kate, the motto that kept coming up when it felt like COVID was going to crash our wedding plans was “we’re gonna get you married” Mission accomplished with nothing but happy hearts and a new last name to prove it. Thank you, BDE!

Blue Dahlia is incredible! Cannot recommend them enough as a group to work with for what can be a very overwhelming and chaotic day! They are fabulous organizers and are so responsive and communicative. They also think of every detail you could need in order to make the day run smoothly. But more importantly, they are kind and awesome people to work with. They understand that it can be heightened emotions and a stressful time and they run with it and make sure everyone feels heard and calmed down while providing reasonable solutions to any problems or points of concern! I had the best weekend ever and have gotten numerous comments from friends in the wedding and who attended how smooth the entire day went, and I know that’s in large part to the team at Blue Dahlia.

Kate and her team truly feels like a group of super heros that can do it all - from seamless coordination leading up to the wedding, to helping your emotional Dad put on his tux buttons, and making sure everyone had a smile on their face throughout it all. It’s been 2 weeks since the wedding and I truly miss working and chatting with Kate and her team. It’s a wonderful group of human beings and wish I could do it all over again!

Blue Dahlia was - by far - the best money we spent on our wedding. The team was incredibly well organized and helped us nail down every last detail to perfection. I appreciated how they would help coach us in advance of the big day on what elements mattered most and should be prioritized vs weren't necessary. They were responsive and helped keep track of our vendors in the final weeks leading up to the wedding. Then, they REALLY made magic happen live during the wedding! They kept everything moving exactly on time so we didn't have to worry about it, and they resolved multiple issues as they arose during the evening. They are also lovely people and I will genuinely miss getting to chat with them. I can't recommend Blue Dahlia enough! 11/10.

Kate and her assistant were absolutely fantastic. They felt immediately like an extension of our family when met in our first meeting and we slept easier knowing we had her support and eyes on final details. We really felt she went above and beyond what was asked for and we are so grateful to her for that. Kate, Erica and Geri were SO wonderful to work with! Kate and the Blue Dahlia Team were everything we could have wanted in an event coordinating squad and more. They made our lives so easy and kept our entire wedding running smoothly (and we had a lot of moving parts). Without them, I would have been so stressed and not enjoyed the wedding as much. We had a giant bridal party and Kate herded the cats like a pro. She turned our boxes of random decor into the whimsical celestial vibe we were envisioning. She made sure we always had drinks in our hands and helped me sneak in the UC Bearcat Mascot to surprise my now husband. From start to finish, Kate did it all. I spent a lot of time looking for a planner for our wedding. A good friend referred me to one, however they would not do a six
