From our first phone call with Carly we knew she was the perfect florist for our wedding, and she delivered beyond all expectations. When we discussed the vision for the flowers months prior I had no idea that they would literally make my heart drop when we first saw the arrangements. Carly really took our vision to heart and transformed our ideas into such beautiful arrangements with orchids and anthuriums that I couldn’t even dream possible! The flowers not only looked beautiful in the daylight but looked so magical transitioning into night. After the night was over, Carly worked with BloomAgain Brooklyn to have all flowers donated to the YWCA Brooklyn, an amazing organization providing advocacy, programming, and residences to women and girls, including survivors of domestic violence, trauma, and homelessness. The team was so fantastic and sweet, now we just have to come up with another event to hire them again!

My husband and I communicated with several florists before deciding on BloomBar. We were planning a CT wedding, during Covid-19, all of the way from Alaska— Stressful! Carly was extremely responsive and professional during the whole process. She has beautiful taste and was somehow able to understand what I wanted even when I couldn’t quite articulate what that was. We worked with Carly and BloomBar for our wedding in August 2020, at my parent's apartment in New York City. After several months of dealing with vendors when we had to cancel our original wedding out west, it was a relief to meet Carly who was responsive and extremely flexible with us (last minute we had to bump the wedding by 1 day because of heavy rain, and Carly said 'no problem!'). We shared some inspiration with her, did a walk through of the outdoor space, and Carly knew immediately what would look right. There was no need to micromanage her, which was great given all of the other details we had to plan last minute. She nailed the color combo (which was bright, "but not too much!") too. Our friends are still talking about how pretty everything was.

Carly is simply the best. We spent some time looking through Pinterest posts to come up with inspiration for the wedding and she found a way to exceed the best pictures we could find online. She was all in from start to finish and couldn't have been more helpful. We were thrilled with Carly and will recommend her to all our our friends. I LOVED working with Carly to design my bridal bouquet and flowers for my hair. She flawlessly and expertly took my general idea and vibe and made it so much more beautiful than I was even imagining. I could share with her some likes/dislikes and she gave me options I didn't even know existed. The final product was just exquisite, I loved the gorgeous finishing touches she added, like the perfect pairing of ribbons in varying colors and textures wrapping the bouquet. She's just easy and fun to work with from the beginning of the process to picking up the flowers (which were carefully and lovingly packed for their journey back on the subway).
