The stylists at Blo/Out are professional and definitely know what they are doing. I got my hair and makeup done for my wedding and they did it just the way I wanted! They were on time and got my bridal party ready in the right amount of time so we were on schedule. A special shoutout to Gina, Kelsey, and Mohammad for a job well done!

We went to Blo/Out for wedding hair and makeup and it was great. Most of us are not make-up wearing ladies - but they converted us! Gina was great and listened to what everyone wanted, and made adjustments as we went along. Mohammad was incredible with my hair and my mom's hair, and really listened and executed. Overall great experience. I can't wait to go back for a blow out and some lashes!

Finding where to get my hair and makeup done was one of the things I struggled with the most when planning my wedding. I feel like most brides have hair and makeup come to them on the wedding day, but I needed to be able to go to a salon. When I started my search I was pretty blown away by some of the prices of other local salons. I came across Blo/Out (the rittenhouse location) and the prices were very reasonable so I figured I would give them a try. I had my hair trial with Meghan and my makeup trial with Heidy. I had a rough idea of what I wanted to do with my hair, and Meghan was able to do it so much better than I had even imagined. Plus, she was able to make it last all day which is a feat with my super fine, naturally straight hair. I had a rough idea of what I wanted for my makeup as well and Heidy also did an amazing job. All of my bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done as well and all turned out beautiful! They made sure to work with our timeline to get us to the church on time, and provided such a fun and stress free environment on a hectic day. I would highly recommend using blo/out for all your wedding needs!

The 5 stars are for Meghan Kelly, who did my bridal updo, and who is fabulous! I had 3 hair trials in the Philly area, and Meghan was hands down the superstar. She understood my vision immediately, jotted down notes from the hair trial on what I liked and didn't like (as much... the trial was pretty close to perfect), and remembered it all for the actual wedding day. I also booked blowouts for my bridesmaids at the salon, and she was incredibly organized in getting everything scheduled and confirmed for the event.

On the hair blowouts for the bridesmaids, I'd give 3 out of 5 stars. They looked like something we did ourselves with a curling iron (straight and flat on top and then a bunch of doll-like 1-inch curls). Several of the blowouts didn't last the night (might have been the humidity). In hindsight, I should have instead booked half updos for the bridesmaids for something a little more special.

Blo Out did an amazing job with my hair and makeup, and my mother's makeup on the day of our wedding. They were accomodating, on time, and really focused on making sure that we were happy with our looks. I was initially nervous about doing hair and makeup without a trial, but I was incredibly happy with the result from Blo Out, for a reasonable price. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup the day of the wedding and I couldn't have asked for anything more.

These ladies were beyond amazing! Super flexible, non judgemental, and amazingly talented. Ciannie and Gina were super friendly and did an amazing job!

Blo/Out Bar did my hair for my engagement photo shoot and I can't say enough about the service I received. I love the decor and my stylist nailed the vintage/50's hair style I was going for. They were reasonably priced and made me feel like a movie star. Would certainly go back for a special occasion.

As our venue was only a block and a half from Blo/Out bar (& to save $), my maids and I opted to walk to/from the salon on the morning of my wedding. Our stylists were so great and professional, and they did a great job with all of our hair -- my updo stayed put despite the windy outdoor photos! Reception was very helpful and even accommodated a last-minute addition to our group. Great and affordable option and I will definitely go back for a blow out for special occasions!
