    Stylists are amazing and the price is just right!

    The stylists at Blo/Out are professional and definitely know what they are doing. I got my hair and makeup done for my wedding and they did it just the way I wanted! They were on time and got my bridal party ready in the right amount of time so we were on schedule. A special shoutout to Gina, Kelsey, and Mohammad for a job well done!

    Wedding Hair + Makeup

    We went to Blo/Out for wedding hair and makeup and it was great. Most of us are not make-up wearing ladies - but they converted us! Gina was great and listened to what everyone wanted, and made adjustments as we went along. Mohammad was incredible with my hair and my mom's hair, and really listened and executed. Overall great experience. I can't wait to go back for a blow out and some lashes!

    Wedding Hair and Makeup

    Finding where to get my hair and makeup done was one of the things I struggled with the most when planning my wedding. I feel like most brides have hair and makeup come to them on the wedding day, but I needed to be able to go to a salon. When I started my search I was pretty blown away by some of the prices of other local salons. I came across Blo/Out (the rittenhouse location) and the prices were very reasonable so I figured I would give them a try. I had my hair trial with Meghan and my makeup trial with Heidy. I had a rough idea of what I wanted to do with my hair, and Meghan was able to do it so much better than I had even imagined. Plus, she was able to make it last all day which is a feat with my super fine, naturally straight hair. I had a rough idea of what I wanted for my makeup as well and Heidy also did an amazing job. All of my bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done as well and all turned out beautiful! They made sure to work with our timeline to get us to the church on time, and provided such a fun and stress free environment on a hectic day. I would highly recommend using blo/out for all your wedding needs!

    The 5 stars are for Meghan Kelly, who did my bridal updo, and who is fabulous! I had 3 hair trials in the Philly area, and Meghan was hands down the superstar. She understood my vision immediately, jotted down notes from the hair trial on what I liked and didn't like (as much... the trial was pretty close to perfect), and remembered it all for the actual wedding day. I also booked blowouts for my bridesmaids at the salon, and she was incredibly organized in getting everything scheduled and confirmed for the event.

    On the hair blowouts for the bridesmaids, I'd give 3 out of 5 stars. They looked like something we did ourselves with a curling iron (straight and flat on top and then a bunch of doll-like 1-inch curls). Several of the blowouts didn't last the night (might have been the humidity). In hindsight, I should have instead booked half updos for the bridesmaids for something a little more special.

    These ladies were beyond amazing! Super flexible, non judgemental, and amazingly talented. Ciannie and Gina were super friendly and did an amazing job!

    Blo Out did an amazing job with my hair and makeup, and my mother's makeup on the day of our wedding. They were accomodating, on time, and really focused on making sure that we were happy with our looks. I was initially nervous about doing hair and makeup without a trial, but I was incredibly happy with the result from Blo Out, for a reasonable price. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup the day of the wedding and I couldn't have asked for anything more.

    Megan and the team were amazing! They did hair and make-up for my entire bridal party and everyone looked/felt stunning! Thank you to the glam squad at BLO/OUT!

    As our venue was only a block and a half from Blo/Out bar (& to save $), my maids and I opted to walk to/from the salon on the morning of my wedding. Our stylists were so great and professional, and they did a great job with all of our hair -- my updo stayed put despite the windy outdoor photos! Reception was very helpful and even accommodated a last-minute addition to our group. Great and affordable option and I will definitely go back for a blow out for special occasions!

    Blo/Out Bar did my hair for my engagement photo shoot and I can't say enough about the service I received. I love the decor and my stylist nailed the vintage/50's hair style I was going for. They were reasonably priced and made me feel like a movie star. Would certainly go back for a special occasion.

    We had the BLO/OUT Blow Dry Bar come to the hotel to do the hair and make up for my wedding. I highly recommend them for any bride especially if you would like someone to come to you for hair and make up. From the first contact with Gina, she was quick to respond to all of my emails and checked in after my hair/makeup trial. They arrived right on time and didn't leave until everyone was happy with their wedding look. Chelsea did my hair and make up for the trial and day of the wedding. At both points, she made sure I felt comfortable and happy with everything. She helped me to create a look that was perfect for my wedding and made me feel so special the who time. Everyone in my wedding party looked beautiful and they were all satisfied with their hair and make up. Thank you BLO/OUT Blow Dry Bar!

    I went to the blo/out bar in Washington Square. I don't have a regular hairdresser so I had been there a few times so I asked for somebody who does up-dos. They recommend Rich, he was great! I went to a trial with him and also went back for my bachelorette party. He was very helpful, I found a picture of a hairstyle that I liked that was slightly different then the way he did it at the trial. He was able to recreate it perfectly and did my hair in record time. It looked great and lasted all night long!

    I had a great experience with BLO OUT for my wedding hair and makeup. I was able to come in in the evening for trials and for the day of the ladies came out to the hotel where the bridal party was and did a great job. They are very friendly and professional also, I would highly recommend them!

    Used the Blo Out in HV after a horrible trial in an unnamed Salon in Philly. Switching hair and make up vendors 2 weeks before our wedding was very stressful but the blolitas saved the day! A+ for experience, customer service and finished product.

    Kristin Foreman did a magnificent job with my bridal makeup. We met about six weeks before my wedding for a consultation. She was very professional and attentive to my personal style. After seeing what a great job she did at the consultation, there was no doubt about her doing my makeup on my wedding day.

    On the day of the wedding, she was once again very professional. The make up was incredible!! I received numerous compliments, the pictures looked wonderful and the make up lasted throughout the entire day to include the duration of the reception.

    I will definitely be using Kristin for all of my professional make up needs from this point forward and highly recommend her to every bride in her area.

    I used the Blo/Out team to do my hair and bridesmaids hair for my wedding and I am so thrilled I found them. I started going to Blo/Out bar for regular blow outs and quickly decided to book them for my wedding day. The owner, Avi is a really great guy who is extremely professional, responsive and helpful. The sylists, or “blolita’s” who did our hair were Shannon, Megan and Gina and there were AMAZING. We all looked gorgeous when they were through with us. We also went to them the night before for blow outs for my rehearsal dinner. All in all, Blo/Out bar, specifically Shannon- has a client for life. She also styled my hair for my bridal shower- which was gorgeous. I’m still getting compliments on both styles (shower and wedding). Overall, they’re all really awesome, fun people and I just love their work. I can’t wait till the Philly location opens! THANK YOU LADIES (and Avi!) !!!! :-)

    I had my hair and make up done by two fabulous girls at BLO/OUT Blow Dry Bar and I absolutely loved it. I went into the trial having no idea what I wanted done. The girls took control and I really liked the way my make up looked, along with the hair style that was choosen for me. When it came to my actual wedding day, I last minute changed my mind about the hair style. I think the weather that day made me feel like I wanted a half up & half down style. Of course to the girls this was no problem and after my hair and make up were done I was in heaven! I felt so beautiful and I owe it to them! I would not go anywhere else for hair or make up. My mom also had her hair and make up done and loved it! She has been dissapointed in the past, so she was really excited that they did exactly what she had imagined, plus some. Love this place!

    Blo Out Salon made my wedding day very easy. I wanted bridesmaids to have a more natural look--so blow outs were perfect. Worked with Meghan, the event coordinator, to get everyone scheduled and out at the same time--very easy and responsive. Michelle at the Rittenhouse location did my updo and she was amazing! I actually did a trial at another place and it was absolutely awful. She came to the rescue and did exactly what I envisioned. Can't thank her enough!!!

    I loved going to BloOut for my wedding day! They were efficient and did a great job. We felt well taken care of and very special. I would highly suggest this vendor! The only issue we had was not having updated/consistent prices on updos listed. A couple of my girls were shocked to find out that their updos were an extra $20. Also, make-up artists should all have lipsticks. One did, one didn't and we were expecting a full look for the price. Otherwise, a wonderful salon!

    Blo/Out bar did a great job making my ladies feel comfortable and still themselves while also looking glamorous. The makeup also held up very well on our 95-degree outside wedding day. The only hiccup we had was with so many ladies (7 in total) getting done up during the same appointment block, one bridesmaid got makeup applied when she didn't want it, and another bridesmaid was left waiting to get makeup done for a while as a result. But overall, Meghan (the event coordinator) was very responsive and we all felt beautiful without feeling shocked to look in the mirror.

    Overall, I think we had a good experience! They came to our hotel and did our hair and make-up. Khelsea did mine and was so sweet! I do think the hair was a touch messy, but overall, she got the direction I was going for and I felt pretty!

    Blo/Out was so wonderfully responsive and flexible, especially when a major accident caused last minute schedule changes, and design changes.
    They were kind, adaptable, and really helpful.
    The stylists there were friendly, helpful and lovely.

    I used Blo/Out Bar for my Bachelorette, Rehearsal Dinner and when I was leaving for our Honeymoon. I have been there multiple other times and majority of the time I am very happy with my hair and it lasts for a long time. The price is good considering the convenience and ease of booking. I loved using Blo/Out Bar close to my wedding, since I was stressed, pressed for time and had multiple events to attend (Bachelorette, Bridal Shower, Family Dinners, etc). It's so relaxing to go into such a positive environment, have a glass of champagne, scalp massage, and 45 minutes later leave with beautiful hair and a stress free mood.
