We had Blend cater our wedding in South Lake Tahoe this summer and they were incredible. From our initial tasting we were already confident that everything they make is delicious and that our menu would be a hit. They made it so easy to put together a great menu with lots of really delicious options, and on the day of our wedding, the service was great, and the food was incredible as expected; all of our guests agreed. Our only regret is not having more time to walk around cocktail hour grabbing miniature lobster rolls, as our photographer pulled us away. Thanks to the Blend team!!

Blend was a dream caterer to work with and the best wedding food we've ever had - and that's not just cause we're a little biased. If you want to wow your guests and treat yourself with ACTUALLY good food and not just a standard steak, salmon, carb and veggie spread that so many weddings default to, then just flip through their menu options and you'll be in love right away. Of course you will pay for it, but you're paying for professionalism, top ingredients, a one-on-one tasting experience with great advice for crafting your menu, and a team who will truly take care of you on your special day. They made us a plate of each of the appetizers for right after the ceremony so we didn't miss them, and they made our dinner plates for us too. Unfortunately I missed our dessert bar, but luckily one of our desserts was gourmet pistachio baklava doughnut holes which they passed around appetizer style during the dance floor so I don't feel like I missed out too much - and I highly recommend you do the same because you'll be busy having fun.
One of the deciding factors in choosing the venue we did (Dancing Pines) was because they allowed (actually required) outside catering and Blend was on the preferred vendor list, meanwhile several other venues we looked at had their own catering and we weren't impressed with the food options. So you could say a lot of our day was planned around the food, which is a lot of pressure, and it did live up to every expectation. Our guests still compliment us on our the food months later.

Blend Catering created the absolute MOST DELICIOUS food for our wedding ever imaginable. I am a super foodie, so I cared a lot about giving our 180 guests the best food experience at our wedding. SO many people, including some very picky people, absolutely raved about our food and told us it was the best wedding food they've ever had. From the passed appetizers (incredible rice cakes with salmon tartare, beef bulgogi lettuce cups, and more) to the main meal (the best short rib I've ever had hands down, unbelievable salmon with green herb oil, twice smashed potatoes) everything was 5 stars. It was the best wedding food we've ever had, and incredible that they delivered that level of quality for 180 people, but also just absolutely outstanding food period. On top of that, they were just incredibly professional and friendly people - from the owners Whitney and Josh to all of the servers. We give a 100/100, 5 star review, and can't recommend Blend more highly. Unfortunately I haven't yet received all of our wedding photos, so don't have photos of the food - but it was beautiful, presented so pretty, and fantastically delicious.

Blend Catering was a fantastic caterer for our recent Tahoe wedding. The guests were all talking about how much they loved the food. On the day and in the lead up to the event, Whitney and team were communicative, professional, flexible (despite some late stage changes), and lovely to work with. We've all been to weddings where the food is clearly an afterthought. And honestly who could blame the couple as weddings can get so pricey. Not the case though with Blend! My husband and I hired Blend's fabulous catering team to serve a buffet style dinner at our wedding reception in Lake Tahoe, and wow, was it fabulous! The appetizers they provided during cocktail hour were so innovative and scrumptious, that people were literally chasing the servers back upstairs to the kitchen for more. Dinner was just as incredible, and it really showed because we hardly had any leftovers to take home. We got so many compliments on the food, and couldn't be happier with their service. I highly recommend Blend Catering for your big day!

Whitney and Blend were an incredible team to work with for our wedding weekend! Food was definitely one of our top priorities for our wedding, and Blend made the process so smooth with their great communication and extensive menu. After our tasting, we had some personal preferences that we communicated with the team, and they were so receptive and flexible! The day of the wedding, they even made a separate little plate of the passed appetizers for us so that we could get some food while we were getting pulled into photos and conversations with our guests. So many of our guests complimented us saying that the food at our wedding was the best they'd ever had at a wedding as well. All in all, working with Blend was a great experience!

Blend is incredible in so many ways. First off, the food they make is so good. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the passed appetizers, the 48-hour short rib, citrus salmon, and the smashed potatoes. But not only was the food tasty, they accommodated the fact that the bride, the mother of the groom, and a bridesmaid all have celiac by making the entire menu gluten free without compromising on flavor and texture. And then the late night snack — just wow. Gluten free truffle grilled cheese and homemade passion fruit donuts. I honestly can’t imagine the food at our wedding being any better. We did buffet style for dinner since we were on a bit of a budget and it was very reasonable. If you have the chance to work with Blend in the Tahoe area, DO IT! You won’t regret it.

We had Blend cater our 'black tie in the woods' wedding up in Tahoe last weekend and they did such a fantastic job. From the perfectly cooked filet to the delicious vegetables, it was fresh, good quality, tasty food that I would eat again in a heartbeat! Best food I've ever had at a wedding (and we were in the middle of the woods!). Highly recommend.

We just had such a great experience with Blend…from planning the menu from far away, Blend was super responsive and answered all of our questions so promptly! Every single thing we chose was so delicious, our guests were so happy with the food, and we were just amazed by the quality and tastiness of EVERYTHING! All of their staff were incredibly friendly, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. We opted to do a dessert table, and the giant skillet cookies were SUCH A HIT! My only regret from our wedding was not setting aside desserts for my husband and I to eat later!!!

It really doesn't get any better than Blend. They catered our wedding this summer and everyone was completely blown away by the food. I am a former chef and real foodie, so my guests expected the food to be amazing but I really think Blend's cooking exceeded everyone's high expectations. Every single thing that Blend prepared was perfectly cooked and seasoned (including the lamb, which is not easy to make!) and all the flavors were unique and delicious. The quality of their ingredients was truly outstanding. Our venue had a pretty antiquated kitchen with a fridge and oven that didn't really work but Blend handled these complications seamlessly and gracefully. From our first interactions with Whitney and Devon, we found them to be organized, professional, and very kind and helpful (especially when we had to change our date because of Covid). I can't recommend Blend highly enough--if you are getting married in Tahoe, you would be crazy to hire anyone else!
