Amazing catering experience
Blend Catering was a fantastic caterer for our recent Tahoe wedding. The guests were all talking about how much they loved the food. On the day and in the lead up to the event, Whitney and team were communicative, professional, flexible (despite some late stage changes), and lovely to work with. We would highly recommend booking them for any event.

We've all been to weddings where the food is clearly an afterthought. And honestly who could blame the couple as weddings can get so pricey. Not the case though with Blend! My husband and I hired Blend's fabulous catering team to serve a buffet style dinner at our wedding reception in Lake Tahoe, and wow, was it fabulous! The appetizers they provided during cocktail hour were so innovative and scrumptious, that people were literally chasing the servers back upstairs to the kitchen for more. Dinner was just as incredible, and it really showed because we hardly had any leftovers to take home. We got so many compliments on the food, and couldn't be happier with their service. I highly recommend Blend Catering for your big day! -

Whitney and Blend were an incredible team to work with for our wedding weekend! Food was definitely one of our top priorities for our wedding, and Blend made the process so smooth with their great communication and extensive menu. After our tasting, we had some personal preferences that we communicated with the team, and they were so receptive and flexible! The day of the wedding, they even made a separate little plate of the passed appetizers for us so that we could get some food while we were getting pulled into photos and conversations with our guests. So many of our guests complimented us saying that the food at our wedding was the best they'd ever had at a wedding as well. All in all, working with Blend was a great experience! -

Blend is incredible in so many ways. First off, the food they make is so good. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the passed appetizers, the 48-hour short rib, citrus salmon, and the smashed potatoes. But not only was the food tasty, they accommodated the fact that the bride, the mother of the groom, and a bridesmaid all have celiac by making the entire menu gluten free without compromising on flavor and texture. And then the late night snack — just wow. Gluten free truffle grilled cheese and homemade passion fruit donuts. I honestly can’t imagine the food at our wedding being any better. We did buffet style for dinner since we were on a bit of a budget and it was very reasonable. If you have the chance to work with Blend in the Tahoe area, DO IT! You won’t regret it. -

We had Blend cater our 'black tie in the woods' wedding up in Tahoe last weekend and they did such a fantastic job. From the perfectly cooked filet to the delicious vegetables, it was fresh, good quality, tasty food that I would eat again in a heartbeat! Best food I've ever had at a wedding (and we were in the middle of the woods!). Highly recommend. -

It really doesn't get any better than Blend. They catered our wedding this summer and everyone was completely blown away by the food. I am a former chef and real foodie, so my guests expected the food to be amazing but I really think Blend's cooking exceeded everyone's high expectations. Every single thing that Blend prepared was perfectly cooked and seasoned (including the lamb, which is not easy to make!) and all the flavors were unique and delicious. The quality of their ingredients was truly outstanding. Our venue had a pretty antiquated kitchen with a fridge and oven that didn't really work but Blend handled these complications seamlessly and gracefully. From our first interactions with Whitney and Devon, we found them to be organized, professional, and very kind and helpful (especially when we had to change our date because of Covid). I can't recommend Blend highly enough--if you are getting married in Tahoe, you would be crazy to hire anyone else! -

Blend Catering was a hit at our small fall 2020 wedding. We had been excited to finally taste our wedding food after months of waiting, and by golly it was just the best! From start to finish, the planning process was super detailed yet easy. Every single menu option is incredible. We had so many compliments on our wedding dinner, which only means one thing, the food was memorable! Thank you Blend team for making our wedding food dreams come true! Would 100% recommend each and every time for wedding and event catering! -

The Blend catering team made our wedding day everything we could have imagined. We booked them prior to the pandemic and the stayed with us through the entire adventure of planning a wedding during this unknown time. They followed us to three different venues and planned multiple tastings as the vision of the day changed many times. They were flexible with our needs and were focused on us getting married. We appreciate how much they cared about our day! Also, should we talk about how great their food is!!! All of our friends and family still talk about how great the crab crostini's, the hanger steak, and the smashed potatoes were! We were so grateful to have them on our vendor team! -

Loved Blend Catering! They were very easy to work with and accommodating to dietary restrictions we had with some guests. Highly recommend the passed appetizers- Mini chicken and waffles and mini lobster rolls were a big hit with guests. No complaints at all with how everything turned out food wise for our big day. -

Blend was fantastic. I've worked with a lot of companies in my lifetime, including all of our wedding vendors, and I still can't believe how incredible they were.
Food was the most important thing to my husband because he comes from a family of cooks. They're pretty harsh critics. But Blend not only passed the test, everyone RAVED about their food and how it was by far the best wedding food they've ever tasted. They're willing to work with you on the menu, and created a cheesecake bar per our request. However, the cheesecake was so delicious that many of our guests didn't even use toppings. Cheesecake is probably my favorite food (it was mentioned in my yearbook page in high school), so I've tasted a lot of cheesecake. This was the best I've ever eaten. I'm still dreaming about. I'm wondering if I could get them to commission another cheesecake for our anniversary... They blew our wedding cake out of the water (although it was also great).
They also made sweet brussel sprouts but my husband felt we had too many sweet foods. They tried fish sauce instead per his request, and it was still delicious even though they had never tried it before. Their prices are also very reasonable.
If you don't go with Blend, man ... you're making a huge mistake. -

We used Blend as the caterer for our wedding and the food and service was great! Whitney worked well with us to stay within budget and come up with fun ideas that would surprise our guests. Everyone is still talking about the food, I just wish I had grabbed a doggie bag for the next day! -
User1190288 Sent on 06/06/2013My husband and I hired A Perfect Pear to cater our wedding in May, and from day one, were nothing but happy with Sarah! She was a pleasure to work with, from the time we met at the tasting (which was delicious by the way), for months leading up to the wedding, and of course the day of the wedding. She was always available to answer questions, no matter how big or small. Actually, I knew she would be great from the time of our first contact, when I wrote her an email asking about prices...she sent me prices and then a few days later, SHE contacted me asking if I had any questions. Great customer service! The food was amazing as well, and Sarah really worked with us to put together a wonderful menu for our guests that fit nicely within our budget. The day of the wedding the set up looked great, she and her staff were amazing, and we heard so many nice compliments about the food and staff from guests! We could not have asked for a better experience!! We are so happy that we hired Sarah and would DEFINITELY recommend her to anyone out there looking for a great caterer!! :)
