Incredible experience!

We had a great experience Blackstone Valley! We had a trio play prelude music for our wedding, and they were incredible. We were able to select all of the songs we wanted them to play, including several that were not included on their song list. They made the planning process easy with a user-friendly webpage where we could submit all of our scheduling details and song requests. I would highly recommend them for instrumental wedding music!

Simply the best!

My husband and I got married in Ireland, we're from the states and wanted simple strings to fill the ambiance of the national park where we were married. Sylvia was just excellent, accommodating, professional and a trooper for dealing with how everything was thrown together. The music was beautiful and we could not have asked for more on our perfect day.

Christian strings

We loved Sylvia and team. They were willing to learn any and all songs in a quick timeframe. We wanted a good variety of Christian worship music in our ceremony and cocktail hour, which they delivered! We were so pleased to find exactly what we wanted for music with Blackstone. Thank you!!

We loved our Ceremony Duo!

We had a great experience working with Blackstone Valley String Quartet for our wedding. We hired a duo (violin and cello) for the pre-ceremony and ceremony music. We knew we wanted live music for the ceremony and we loved that there were so many different options through BVSQ. We met with Sylvia to discuss our vision and she was extremely helpful in answering our questions and helping us decide what would be best for our wedding. It was also so helpful to review their Vision Ideas and Music Idea List on the website when we were finalizing song choices. They have an extremely large and varied music catalog with all of the songs we wanted!

Everyone we worked with was extremely professional and responsive. We received many comments from guests about how nice it was to have the live music and how great the musicians sounded.

Thank you BVSQ for adding so much to our wedding day!

Amazing! Couldn’t be happier!

Blackstone Valley Quartet was amazing! They were responsive, flexible, and most importantly they sounded incredible. Our demands were pretty high (songs we wanted them to learn, lots of cues for them to navigate throughout the evening, etc.), yet they were flawless.

If you are considering live string music for your wedding, do it! There’s nothing comparable to for your ceremony. And if you decide on string music, book Blackstone ASAP. We asked them to play various pop renditions, which was fantastic.

Beautifully Done!

Blackstone Valley String Quartet is fantastic! I had always wanted strings played for my wedding ceremony but didn't know if it was feasible. Once my (now) wife and I decided to go for it, it couldn't have been a better experience. Sylvia was great to work with, we appreciated their selection of music, and that they could learn new songs requested. Hearing their beautiful music playing as the bridal parties and then us brides walked down the aisle, made those moments even more special and added to the memories of the amazing day. I absolutely recommend them for weddings and events!

Amazing from start to finish - responsive and 100% dedicated to ensuring the experience is custom and enhances the event.

BVS blew everyone away. Their exceptional musicianship and ability to customize playlists that reflected our vision, gave our ceremony and cocktail reception that something special - creating a ton of energy and setting the tone for all the festivities that followed. Can’t begin to tell you how many guests commented on the cool Bridgerton vibe BVS gave to the event. Will definitely hire them again!!

Wonderful!!

The Blackstone Valley String Duo was awesome!! Sylvia was a pleasure to work with and communicated well. She ensured our ceremony and cocktail hour music was personal and meaningful by playing songs we requested, and finding music they can work with. Our guests truly enjoyed the music during the ceremony and cocktail hour, they made our wedding perfect! I would recommend BVQ to everyone!

More than we ever expected

Talented, easy to work with and thoughtful musicians!

We worked with Sylvia and the team on our 14 person wedding in August and it was seamless and so easy to work Blackstone Valley. Not only were they responsive, but a great value and extremely talented. We were so glad we hired them to work on our wedding!
