  Christian strings

  We loved Sylvia and team. They were willing to learn any and all songs in a quick timeframe. We wanted a good variety of Christian worship music in our ceremony and cocktail hour, which they delivered! We were so pleased to find exactly what we wanted for music with Blackstone. Thank you!!

  Simply the best!

  My husband and I got married in Ireland, we're from the states and wanted simple strings to fill the ambiance of the national park where we were married. Sylvia was just excellent, accommodating, professional and a trooper for dealing with how everything was thrown together. The music was beautiful and we could not have asked for more on our perfect day.

  We loved our Ceremony Duo!

  We had a great experience working with Blackstone Valley String Quartet for our wedding. We hired a duo (violin and cello) for the pre-ceremony and ceremony music. We knew we wanted live music for the ceremony and we loved that there were so many different options through BVSQ. We met with Sylvia to discuss our vision and she was extremely helpful in answering our questions and helping us decide what would be best for our wedding. It was also so helpful to review their Vision Ideas and Music Idea List on the website when we were finalizing song choices. They have an extremely large and varied music catalog with all of the songs we wanted!
  
  Everyone we worked with was extremely professional and responsive. We received many comments from guests about how nice it was to have the live music and how great the musicians sounded.

  Amazing! Couldn’t be happier!

  Blackstone Valley Quartet was amazing! They were responsive, flexible, and most importantly they sounded incredible. Our demands were pretty high (songs we wanted them to learn, lots of cues for them to navigate throughout the evening, etc.), yet they were flawless.
  
  If you are considering live string music for your wedding, do it! There’s nothing comparable to for your ceremony. And if you decide on string music, book Blackstone ASAP. We asked them to play various pop renditions, which was fantastic.

  Beautifully Done!

  Blackstone Valley String Quartet is fantastic! I had always wanted strings played for my wedding ceremony but didn't know if it was feasible. Once my (now) wife and I decided to go for it, it couldn't have been a better experience. Sylvia was great to work with, we appreciated their selection of music, and that they could learn new songs requested. Hearing their beautiful music playing as the bridal parties and then us brides walked down the aisle, made those moments even more special and added to the memories of the amazing day. I absolutely recommend them for weddings and events!

  Talented, easy to work with and thoughtful musicians!

  We worked with Sylvia and the team on our 14 person wedding in August and it was seamless and so easy to work Blackstone Valley. Not only were they responsive, but a great value and extremely talented. We were so glad we hired them to work on our wedding!

  Breathtaking Music. Brought Tears to My Eyes

  I normally forget or don't have time to write reviews, but I made sure I didn't forget this one. Blackstone Valley String Quartet brought tears to my eyes when I walked down the isle. I was very specific of how I wanted my music to go and they made my vision come alive. Sylvia (the owner of Blackstone Valley String Quartet) was  overly willing to speak with me on the phone and answer all my annoying emails quickly. They even recorded one of the songs I requested for an example, which I can tell you many string quartets would not do. They can most likely accommodate any song you want with enough time.  I changed the song that I walked down the isle to a few weeks before my wedding and it was a song they hadn't played before, but they said it could be done. When I heard it I had chills, it was exactly how I always had envisioned walking down the isle. It was like they had been playing that song for years. They also played a different song for parents of the bride/groom, bridesmaids and ring bearers/flower girls and then for me, which I thought was so impressive because they started and stopped the song at the perfect place within the song.  I was so unbelievably happy and thankful that I just can't wait to see my video to hear all the songs that I missed. My husband said when they played Shallow and Downtown Abbey he had chills. I still have friends and family from our wedding telling us that our String Quartet brought tears to their eyes and were absolutely breathtaking. That is exactly what I wanted. The only thing I wish was that they had more videos and recordings of how they played on their website. Their website examples do not do them justice, because if they had more recordings and videos from weddings, I promise you would not think twice about hiring them. If you want breathtaking music at your wedding then you need to go with them. Hire them now because I don't doubt they soon will booked because they will be at the top of all wedding websites recommended vendors lists!

  Blackstone Valley LOVE!

  These girls are AMAZING! We had the strings trio accompany our wedding mass and it was the absolute best decision we could have made. Their beautiful music elevated the whole mass and still gives me the chills! Everyone was absolutely blown away by their playing.
  
  The process couldn't have been easier to book the trio for our day -- Sylvia was extremely responsive, professional, and went above and beyond to learn a couple songs that were special to our ceremony.

  Our wedding guests were quite surprised when a string quartet started playing songs like Stairway to Heaven. The BVSQ's music raised folks' spirits and added a touch of class at both the church and during the cocktail hours. So much fun. Worth every penny.

  Blackstone Valley String Quartet did a wonderful job at our wedding. They are professionally adept at their performance, and brought joy to my guests. They were also experienced and knew to pace with the events of the ceremony. Their list of available pieces is extensive, and if you hire them, you will find yourself in very good hands.

  We had Brittany playing the violin for our wedding ceremony and she was amazing! We chose both songs from her list as well as others that she learned for us (with short notice, too). The music sounded lovely and we received many compliments. She was very professional and quick to respond via email. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

  We are happy to have used Brittany to perform at our wedding ceremony. She was easy to work with and very responsive. She was willing to play the songs we requested and gave some suggestions for songs. Would definitely recommend and use again!

  The Blackstone Valley String Quartet was absolutely incredible on our Wedding Day! Brittany and her team were professional, responsive and most important- INCREDIBLY TALENTED!!! They played my requested songs perfectly and suggested additional songs once they learned what my Fiancé and I liked. I received so many compliments on how beautifully they played- I would 100% recommended them for any type of wedding or special occasion. I have been in the Hospitality industry for 10+ years doing events and I would be the first person to recommend them as a preferred vendor! Thank you so much!
