We absolutely loved working with Carly! She was so easy to get to know, and right from the start, we knew she was the perfect fit to capture our big day. Carly and our photographer worked seamlessly together, and her presence was so calming. You could hardly tell she was there, which makes me even more excited to see all the candid moments she captured of us and our loved ones.

Carly was phenomenal to work with! We actually decided last minute to hire a videographer and were so lucky that Carly was available. From the beginning, she was very responsive to emails and flexible with our day of plans. She was such a kind and friendly presence throughout the day. We just received our video and it was absolutely perfect!!! She managed to capture the emotions of the day, all of the highlights, and delivered the perfect glimpse into such a special day. It was so fun to watch it back with my husband and immediately be transported back to the moment. I am so grateful we found her!

Carly was amazing on our wedding day! So fun, had us laughing the entire day and made everything seem so easy and natural! She partnered so well with our photographer too. We could tell she was capturing our personalities in real time, working with lighting perfectly and was keeping me cool (she had a portable fan for me LOL) and calm leading up to my walk down the aisle and throughout the night. We haven’t received our video yet (I’m sure another review will come after that!!) but she was showing us little sneak peeks of footage and IT LOOKED AMAZING.

Carly and her team at Black Shutter did such a fantastic job with our wedding videos. We did private vows and I requested the voice recording be put over our video, and this turned out amazingly! Not only did we get a video with and without our vows voiced over, but we also got a great edited ceremony video and also raw footage of all of this, all dances, and all speeches! The quality of the videos is top notch and was 100% worth the money we spent. Everyone who watched our video raved about how well-done it was. I would honestly recommend Black Shutter to anyone who wants high-quality and affordable, professional documentation of their wedding!!
