Camille was so easy to work with during our wedding planning. She communicated using Google Sheets, which was so helpful to track our choices and changes related to the menu and the guest count. I was planning our wedding from across the country and she was so helpful in arranging a tasting with our limited time out in Seattle. The food was beyond amazing and we got so many compliments! It was so fun to have something out of the ordinary like BBQ for our wedding! They even have a BBQ tofu option for your veggie friends and family :)

After our tasting with Camille, we had no hesitation about booking Bitterroot. She was organized, prompt, and provided us with a fun an informative tasting. I really appreciated her use of Google Sheets, making the price breakdown really transparent and easy to adjust.

Both the service and food turned out great on our wedding day, and the ice cream sandwiches were a huge hit! We're excited to keep going back to Bitterroot in Seattle to re-live the experience.

Besides having fantastic BBQ, the drinks were ridiculously good. Without a doubt, they gave us the best cocktails/beer/wine we've ever had a wedding. Can't recommend them highly enough if you're considering catering a wedding or other event!

Oh my goodness, picking Bitterroot for our wedding was one of the best choices that we made. We really wanted to stay away from the same old boring catered wedding food and Bitterroot is anything but typical! Our guests loved the variety of sides and were blown away by how delicious everything was. I found the staff extremely responsive and helpful before our wedding day and they were often quick to make recommendations about vendors that they worked with in the past. I love that they have a restaurant in Ballard so I can revisit that delicious meal any time I want!

We hired Bitterroot to cater our wedding last month and they were wonderful!!!! My husband and I had loved Bitterroot before our wedding and have dined there since they opened, and wanted to share something we loved with our friends and family. We wanted to provide delicious, unpretentious food for our guests and Bitterroot delivered! In fact they even went above and beyond...our Day of Coord and her staff were highly disorganized and fell short of our expectations...I was later informed that Bitterroot stepped in and helped set tables, and basically pick up her slack (THANK YOU Bitterroot!!!!). Having Bitterroot as a part of our wedding was one of the best decisions we made!

Bitterroot did a wonderful job catering our wedding of nearly 250 guests! The catering manager, Ryan, was great to work with...very professional and super accommodating. When he missed our first tasting appointment and we had to taste with someone else, he went above and beyond to make up for it. He did not hesitate to let my fiance and I come back with my parents for another free tasting, and even comped our drinks! And he made a special trip to my house to drop off the silverware and napkins I wanted ahead of time for a project.

On the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly (as far as I could tell)! The servers were lovely and did a great job with the passed appetizers. We especially appreciated that they always found my husband and I to make sure we got food too! We thought all of the buffet food tasted delicious and based on the feedback we got, our guests agreed! The best part though was that they boxed up all the leftovers into individual meals with a little bit of everything and passed them out to our guests to take home with them! Such a thoughtful touch that I did not expect! I couldn't be happier with our experience with Bitterroot BBQ!

Barbecue at its best: pulled pork, brisket, smoked chicken, mac and cheese, greens, stuffing...an absolute feast, perfect for the wintry country setting in which our daughter's wedding was staged. Food was fresh, hot, tasty, plentiful--couldn't have asked for a better meal. Or nicer servers, for that matter.

My husband and I used Bitterroot Catering for our January wedding. We had been to their restaurant in Ballard before and got their mac and cheese which was fantastic. We didn't want traditional BBQ for our winter wedding because it seemed a little out of season, so we asked if they could do a Mac and Cheese buffet for us, where guests could customize their mac and cheese with different meat and vegetable toppings, sauces, and then we did a couple side salads and rolls. I approached them about this idea and although they'd never done it before they were flexible and on board with the idea! When we did the tasting, the portions were super generous and everything was delicious, it felt like we ate a whole meal and then some. They were great about answering questions throughout the whole process and revising the menu multiple times. The mac and cheese buffet and sides were super reasonably priced for Seattle catering. I don't know if they will keep it so cheap in the future since this was the first mac and cheese buffet they've done, but it was a great deal for us.

On the wedding day, everything was delicious and the guests seemed to like the mac and cheese idea. I only had a couple complaints... they didn't use any burners or warmers under the chaffing dishes which seemed odd to me for a catering service, and by the time my husband and I ate (at the end, mind you) things weren't very warm. The salads were dressed on the lighter side, but maybe that is just my personal preference. They didn't heat up the rolls so they were cold. These seemed like easy things that could have made the meal better, but all in all everything was really delicious and good quality and I appreciated them doing something totally new for us. I suppose those are details you could ask about during the planning process, I just didn't know to ask. The service itself was great and they brought extra hands to clear plates and clean up afterwards at a minimal cost. Bitterroot was an awesome value!!

Bitterroot catered our wedding on 8/26/17. They did such a great job and we received so many compliments. We saw multiple guests go up for seconds and even thirds. What a delight! Delish! We would have loved for them to offer to get real plates for us but it didn't end up being that big of a deal. I found beautiful plastic plates that worked out nicely with our decor.
