Birchwood Studio was incredible to work with. Her attention to detail when it came to poses or angles were unmatched. She helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera when we didn’t know what to do. She was so fun to work with!! Highly recommend!

Birchwood not only captured the most incredible photos from my wedding day but also anticipated my needs throughout the planning process. I am someone with a limited social battery and Elizabeth encouraged me to schedule time into my wedding day to just exist with my husband. This 30 minute break was my favorite part of my wedding day.
While getting ready, my wedding dress zipper broke. Elizabeth was ready with thread and actually stitched me into my dress. No one would ever know!

If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, I truly cannot recommend Birchwood Studio.enough. Elizabeth photographed our wedding, and from the very beginning she was incredible to work with. She has such a positive attitude, is genuinely funny, and makes you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera—which makes a huge difference on a day that can feel a little overwhelming.

Her creativity and eye for capturing real, meaningful moments are amazing. Our wedding photos are something we will cherish forever. On top of that, she is very budget friendly while still delivering beautiful, high-quality work.

What’s even better is that after she photographed our wedding, we kept going back to her for all of life’s big moments. She has since done our maternity photos, newborn photos, and even staff photos for our organization. Birchwood Studio not only met but exceeded every expectation I could have for a photographer for engagement photos and our wedding. We were on a time crunch and some budget restrictions for our wedding but knew that photos were one of the most important things to us. Birchwood Studio offered to meet with me no strings attached and talk through my wedding day. I have always admired the light and airy feeling to her photos and REALLY wanted her as our photographer. Instead of being strict on budget, Birchwood worked closely with me and found things that we could help eliminate to get the cost closer to what we could afford at the time. I was ECSTATIC! We signed a contract and got started on planning engagement photos. She was so willing to work with my inspo pics and ideas and truly made them come to life for our engagement session. From there she made sure to keep in close contact and was always willing to jump on a call or message if I had even the silliest questions. She did a phenomenal job helping me coordinate a complete and detailed timeline of the day down to each persons hair and make up and coordinating people at two different places while getting ready. Finally my most favorite day arrived and she showed up on time, professionally dressed and ready to get to work! Her second photographer (also phenomenal I will add) got every shot possible even with a minor hiccup up with my make up taking longer than expected. They were able to get all our getting ready shots completed and even was willing to squeeze in a last minute “first look” that my son decided to do. Once we got to after the ceremony and group photos she kept everyone in line and moving along smoothly and we ended up with my most favorite photos ever. Between the two of them they had some more attention to detail they would even help fix things around the venue that looked out of place and communicated with other vendors to ensure the entire process ran smoothly. Birchwood truly made everything about our wedding feel so seamless and so much less stressful. Their pricing is worth every penny. We loved them so much and built such a great relationship we have been using them as our family photographer ever since!
