Billie Jo and Jeremy are simply the best photography team, and we can’t imagine having anyone else capture our day! Photography was a top priority for us, and we are so glad we found Billie Jo and Jeremy! They were incredibly personal and intentional with our communication and planning, and they were incredible to work with for bridal portraits and wedding! They have such great energy, and were able to seamlessly float (& dance!) through the spaces in order to capture our day. They’re work is beautiful and we couldn’t be happier with our choice to hire them! We would definitely love to have them take all our family photos in years to come as well!

Words can not fully express how wonderful Billie Jo and Jeremy are. From our first phone conversation to our wedding day they became such an important component and breathe of fresh air during very stressful wedding planning. So, I truly don't even know where to begin with this review. I've waited to write it because there aren't enough words to describe how amazing BJ & Jeremy are. When I first spoke to Jeremy on the phone for our "consultation", I just knew they were the perfect fit for us. He spoke about their photography with such care, as if each wedding they shoot is a story that they are privileged to tell through their art. They get to know you personally, they pray for you, and they are just genuinely GOOD people.

But, aside from how incredible they are at being decent humans, their skill and talent is unmatched. They somehow managed to capture EVERY moment of our wedding day in the most beautiful shots. My sister and I described it as a synchronized dance as they weaved in and out of guests at tables, dancing, cake cutting, etc.. It was so cool just to see them do their thing. I've had our photos back for several weeks (quick turnaround too, btw!) and I just can't stop looking at them. They're my phone background, computer background, printed on my walls. I just want to stare at them for the rest of forever! Our day was absolutely perfect and was perfectly capture by BJ & Jeremy. We cannot thank them enough! Book them. I promise you will not regret it!

PS- we also did engagement photos and bridal portraits with them. They somehow managed to make it enjoyable for my now husband to take photos for 2 hours. Don't ask me how. I will never know their magical ways. lol

STOP RIGHT NOW. DO NOT LOOK FURTHER THAN Billie Jo & Jeremy. My husband and I got married on 5/24/19 at the Legare Waring House in Charleston and had BJ & J as our photographers and it was one of the best decisions we have ever made. If we had to do it over again, we would choose them every single time to capture our big day.
From our engagement shoot to our actual wedding, they made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and actually ENJOY taking photos. They are accommodating, responsive, passionate about their work, and do an excellent job. They take the time to ask and learn about what you want, family dynamics to be aware of, and things you wouldn’t even think about. The day of the wedding, they provided a calming presence (for both me and my husband) which we were so thankful for amongst the craziness.
We have received SO MANY compliments on our engagement photos and sneak peek photos as their work is more artistic than your stereotypical wedding photos. They are more than just photographers—they are story tellers. HIRE THEM and it will be the best wedding decision you make!

Keeping this review concise will be as hard as it was to whittle down our favorite photos for our wedding album. To start, you should know that Billie Jo and Jeremy aren't just going to photograph your wedding; they're going to be your friends, your biggest fans and they're going to get to capture you in a way that is beyond real and authentic -- so much so that you're going to look back at your pictures and be amazed that someone could actually "get you" the way that they do.

From our very first call with them, we knew they were something special and felt like we had reunited with long lost friends. Our photographer was always going to be our most important vendor and we got off the call knowing that our search was over. From there, our admiration only grew. We had debated doing an engagement shoot, but trust me when I tell you that it is worth it. We still have as many engagement photos hanging on our walls as our wedding photos, because we can't bear to take them down. They are THAT good. To say they made us feel comfortable in working with them for that first time is an understatement. They didn't just make us feel comfortable; they made us feel alive! I swear my husband hadn't looked at me like that since our first date. :) Our pictures reflect the sweet, gentle connection, fun and friendship that defines are relationship because of how comfortable we were due to the unique way the Billie Jo and Jeremy approach their work. It felt less like a photo shoot and more like running around downtown Charleston with two of our best friends being playful. We didn't want it to end because we were having such a ball.

Leading up to the wedding, they couldn't have been more thorough in understanding our wants and needs for the big day. They thought of every last thing which totally put our minds at ease. They learned every last detail of our family dynamic. They made things seamless. They also made us feel so loved. There were the kindest gestures along the way, things that are hard to fully describe but you'll understand further when working with them. The best way I can describe it is that they didn't just take care of our photography needs, they took care of our hearts. They prayed for us, rooted for us, and encouraged us.

When the big day came and I saw them for the first time while getting ready, it was just like another member of my family had arrived. They became a part of my larger family that day. Friends and family members still talk about the "amazing couple" who not only shot the wedding but embraced and took part in the wedding. I truly cannot imagine the biggest day of our life without them there. That's how much their kind, positive energy meant to us that day. They were there when my dad and I bawled, when my mom zipped up my dress, when my husband saw me for the first time, when we poured out our hearts in our vows, and when we danced the night away. And guess what, now when we look back at our fairytale like pictures, we get to relive it all like we are right there again because of the perfect way they captured every special moment. Yes, they are talented beyond belief at photography, but what takes it to a completely different level is their ability to be present and joyful. You can feel the energy with which they took those pictures. You can tell how happy they are for us and how much they were involved in the entire day and night. It literally screams off the photograph. I'm telling you, I know without a doubt they were just beaming from behind those lenses. :)

Our wedding day, like many others, went by too quickly. Thanks to Billie Jo and Jeremy, time slowed down. They caught moments big and small. They understood our love, our family, our day and we forever have our story told in the most beautiful of ways. When it was time to say goodbye, it did not feel like a vendor leaving our wedding; it felt like family leaving. They will be a part of our hearts and lives forever.

Choosing Billie Jo and Jeremy was the best decision I made for my wedding. From day one they were nothing but organized, prompt, kind, and professional. This couple was made to do wedding photography. They had everything so organized that pictures went seemlessly. It never felt like we HAD to go take pictures, the pictures just naturally happened throughout the wedding night. I had a HUGE (36 person) wedding party, and they handled it with ease. My pictures came out beautifully! The best part is we felt comfortable and natural the entire night. No pictures felt posed or fake.
