I'm Carissa Scott - a wedding photographer based in Charleston, SC. I believe in presence, in gut feelings, and in creating a legacy of memories that will be cherished for generations.
My couples are drawn to the quiet, meaningful moments that make a wedding day feel real: a million photos of your grandparents, the hugs between childhood best friends, the editioral-esque portraits, the florals, the love - the way it all felt. My work is the art of freezing time - capturing moments that will never happen again. It’s a privilege and a responsibility to be the one entrusted with preserving these fleeting memories. Every wedding I photograph is a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience for the couple, and I don’t take that lightly.

You need to hire Carissa.
My father went into the hospital the day we went on our honeymoon and passed away two weeks to the day after we got married and Carissa worked hard to get photos done way earlier than expected so we'd have something to smile about.
