We loved her
Carissa is an incredible photographer. When I tell you the photos were perfect in every way. I am more obsessed with journalistic photography than I ever have been. She’s also so kind and accommodating. 10/10 recommend -

You need to hire Carissa.
Exceeded expectations. She could almost sense what I was feeling before I even knew it. Captured every part of our day perfectly. Every promise she makes in her contract and on her website she definitely delivers on.
My father went into the hospital the day we went on our honeymoon and passed away two weeks to the day after we got married and Carissa worked hard to get photos done way earlier than expected so we'd have something to smile about. The photos she took that day were the last photos we have of him and will forever cherish.
100/10 would recommend -

Carissa was such a blessing to work with through the whole process!! We got engagement photos included with the package we booked with her first and they turned out amazing. She had a gorgeous spot to recommend as we didn’t know many places around that would suit our preferences, but she knocked it out of the park! She was very helpful in helping me nail down the best wedding timeline to get sunset pictures and first look pictures included with our evening ceremony and reception. Day of she was amazong to work with! We booked for 8 hours day of coverage. She was very patient and fun to be around! Got our sneak peak back already and we are soooo excited to get the rest back. They are GORGEOUS. Cannot recommend her enough! -

Photographer Of Our Dreams!
Carissa captured our Easter weekend wedding in the most beautiful way! I am always nervous behind the camera, but Carissa made us all feel comfortable and we had so much fun posing for her. She is super communicative, punctual, kind, and provided amazing shots. I would strongly recommend booking her! -

Words hardly do justice how amazing Carissa was for our wedding. From the get-go, we immediately felt like she was a longtime friend and we're naturally at ease with her, even though we had only met once via Facetime. She was incredibly detailed with all of the shots she captured throughout the night and went above and beyond to capture the moments & details you don't always consider when thinking through your wedding photography. She was on top of the various group photos we asked for and made sure everything we requested was taken care of. The day was crazy and had a lot of changes & alternations, but she was patient and flexible throughout it all. The photos are absolutely stunning and we cry every time we look at them, and we've only received the preview. Thank you, Carissa, for being truly amazing. -

RUN, don’t walk to book Carissa!
Booking Carissa was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She is so funny, kind, laid back and fit into our wedding day seamlessly. Working with her felt like hanging out with an old friend; she is very easy going and has a gift for making you feel at ease in front of a camera.
Not to mention - she is incredibly talented at what she does and captured our wedding day beautifully! I am so blown away by our wedding day gallery and feel like I am re-living the day every time I look at it.
I am so thankful that we found Carissa - our wedding day would not have been the same with anyone else! -

Carissa’s the best!
This is our second time working with Carissa. She did our engagement photos and we immediately knew we wanted her for our wedding as well! We never felt like she was a stranger. Her personality is so inviting and she does a great job at making you feel comfortable. Her professionalism never changed even when things didn’t go as planned. She was flexible and understanding when my fiancé tested positive for covid 3 days before initial wedding date! She’s our go to photographer now & we can’t wait to work with her again. -

The best ever
When I say that Carissa is the best ever, I MEAN IT! Not only did she get me sneak peaks of my wedding photos and engagement session within 48 hours, but she got our ENTIRE wedding album back in a month after the wedding! She sends out awesome questionnaires leading up to your event to make sure she gets to know you and your SO's personalities, your photo style, and what you want in a photographer. As an incredibly detail-oriented person, Carissa thought of questions and details of my wedding day that I never would have. She is kind, funny, and so so thoughtful. From day one, I knew Carissa was going to be a person I could rely on and trust, and she blew my expectations out of the water! -

From the first contact on Carissa felt like a BFF. Despite all the craziness of a pandemic wedding, she constantly put our minds at ease and was so flexible with any and every change we had to make. On the day of, she felt like a part of the family just there to hang out and snap some pics. I could not be happier with all of our photos - they are absolutely gorgeous and capture the true essence of our personalities. 10/10 would recommend Carissa Scott Photography. -

Carissa was an amazing photographer, and we highly recommend her and her staff. Before the day of the wedding Carissa took time to get to know us a couple. She wanted to know how we met, our style and what was the most important part of our wedding. We appreciated how she captured the essence of who we are as a couple. Carissa and her team made sure capture pictures with friends and family per our request. If you want a wedding photographer with a great sense of humor and who will ease the pressure around your day, then Carissa is the one for you. We are beyond pleased with all the pictures that were taken. -

Carissa and her second shooter (Lauren, I believe) were great!!! Carissa made the planning process super easy and smooth. She made it work despite COVID-19. She made us feel super comfortable and relaxed taking pictures, and made sure we got the shots we wanted. We didn't give a ton of direction or make a lot of specific requests, but just gave Carissa liberty to do what she does best and we are SO EXCITED about the results. All the photographers on here take good pictures, but Carissa's website made us laugh right off the bat. She was funny, professional, and we would make the same choice again. Book her! You won't regret! -

I don't even know how to properly explain how much we appreciate Carissa. From the minute she walked into my house when we were getting ready, she just made our day better. She is truly meant to do this work. She was a calming force the whole day. We had a bridal party of 18 people, and she knew everyone's names, and our family's names. She is professional, fun, funny, trustworthy. She even helped my sister bustle my dress! She really is like a total wing-woman for your wedding. She was flexible with last minute changes, and she was just so kind the whole day. We also had videographers and she worked great with them. Our photographs capture our day perfectly and it is so fun to relive the day whenever we look at them. She delivered the photos in less than a month and they're just so beautiful. -
