Melissa was so wonderful and responsive! She gave us exactly what we asked for and more. Not only was the cake beautiful but it was so delicious. All the guests raved and said it was the best cake they ever had. Carrot cake with buttercream frosting and white chocolate drizzle with donuts on the cake!

Melissa is a magician when it comes to baked goods. We got married at Friends Lake Inn, and Belle Dolci is the preferred vendor for the wedding cake. Melissa took a color palette, some reference photos, a whole list of allergies, a list of flavor preferences, and turned it into the most delicious cake-cake (not wedding-cake) I’ve ever had. We communicated purely through email, but she was responsive, very accommodating, and even adjusted the ingredients slightly to eliminate a surprise allergy from one of my guests the week prior to the event.

The cake wasn’t too sweet, had interesting textural elements so every mouthful wasn’t just a mush of cake and icing, and looked stunning. She also baked the most delicious gluten-, dairy-, soy-, and nut-free apple cider donuts and brownies that I ate pretty much the whole time I wasn’t doing other things. I still dream about our wedding cake and will definitely be asking her to make it again for an anniversary! Hire Belle Dolci, you’ll be sooo glad you did!

Melissa baked a wonderful cake for our wedding. It looked beautiful and went with our mountain-theme. It was a vanilla cake with buttercream frosting and a Rocky Road filling. The combination was ridiculously delicious. The cake was moist, the buttercream frosting (my favorite kind) was divine. The filling (chocolate pieces, nuts, and marshmallow) was amazing and went so well. I highly recommend Melissa for baking services for your big day!
