Love this place! My entire bridal party had their hair and makeup done here and everyone looked so beautiful and natural. They really listen to what you want. I definitely felt glamorous on my special day, but still looked like myself, which is exactly what I wanted. They had 7 of us in and out within 2 hours. Wonderful people and a great experience.

BELLA LUCI was AMAZING!! They are incredibly accommodating and make you feel so beautiful! I was not from the Poughkeepsie Area but we were getting married there. I priced out a lot of different salons while trying to find the salon for my wedding day. Bella Luci's prices are so affordable and the work is amazing. All of my bridesmaids looked fabulous and I LOVED my hair and make up. The salon is gorgeous and CLEAN inside. The staff were so sweet and kind and it was an absolute pleasure to have had them beautify me and all of my bridesmaids! If I lived in the Poughkeepsie area that would the salon for me! The level of artistry by the hair stylists and the make up artist is five star and you leave looking and feeling like a celebrity. Thank you Bella Luci for making us so fabulous!! I would absolutely recommend Bella Luci!

Bella Luci was amazing! They did all the hair and most of the makeup for me, my 7 bridesmaids and 2 mothers, and everyone looked fabulous! The salon also has a great atmosphere and was a relaxing place to spend the morning of my wedding - they can even provide breakfast for everyone for a small charge. PS: Melanie & Sarah are awesome!

I had a wedding in Poughkeepsie this past weekend, but with all the running around preparing, I was unable to find time to get my brows done in my hometown. When I called Bella Luci, the receptionist was able to fit me in the same day and was so welcoming on the phone - really set the tone for a relaxing experience. My brow technician was great - he was very friendly and really listened to what I wanted. My brows looked fantastic for my ceremony, and I'm really happy with the shape he gave me. Although I don't go to Poughkeepsie often, I would definitely come here again for beauty treatments. The space is absolutely beautiful as well!

I used Bella Luci for my bridal hair & make-up as well as for all the girls in my bridal party. I had not done a trial before the day, but having sent them pics of the look I wanted (which was a simple half down look with lose curls) I was sure they could create the look I wanted.

My stylist (and I am so sorry I can't remember any of their names! It was a crazy day!) reviewed the photos I sent and created a style I was very happy with. Half down with lose curls, lots of height on the top, with silk flowers placed throughout.

My make-up artist worked really hard to create the look I wanted. At first, she made a look for me that was just too "pink" and doll-like telling me that this is what the photographers generally like. But when I explained to her--dark eyes, 60's look, NO pink...she got it and I was very happy with the final result.

My bridal party was an hour late and the salon was busy and the make-up artist was getting ready to leave to see her private clients, but they went out of their way to accomodate them when they showed!

I recommend them highly! The only reason, I did not give them 5 stars was because although I had my hair done an hour before my ceremony, by the end of the cocktail hour--the curls in my hair were almost completely undone. The style did not hold up well at all and by the end of the night my hair was entirely straight. I don't know if they could have done anything better to make it hold up longer... I don't know how girls who get their hair done in the morning make it last all day! The make-up held up longer, but was pretty much gone by the end of the evening. Maybe airbrushed would have worked better (?)

My girls looked great as well...although I never asked them how their looks held up.

This is one of the best places to get your hair done! I love the work that my hair dresser Sarah does!!

The only ideal I gave Sarah was that I wanted it half up and half down! She took off with it from there and it was amazing! She did one trail and then the wedding day. My hair never fell out of place even with all the dancing I did!!

My make-up was great. I did not do a trail with this so it was the wedding day when it was done... but boy does she know what to do!! It was perfect! It felt as I was wearing no make-up.
