Amina and her team did an absolutely amazing job for my wedding hair and makeup! Amina herself is truly someone who enjoys what she's doing and takes pride in her work. During the planning and trial consultation she was incredibly kind, professional, and responsive! She answered any and all questions and was super flexible to any changes I wanted to make! On the actual day, she and her team were timely, efficient, and truly invested in making sure me and my bridal party looked our best! I felt so incredibly beautiful and am so grateful to Amina and team for all their hard work! I highly recommend her for any hair and makeup needs!

Amina is incredibly talented! She uses high quality products and my bridal look lasted throughout the entire evening! I am grateful she was part of my wedding day in every aspect. Her booking is very professional and straightforward. Also, she provided a second talented artist so my timeline didn’t have to start super early for the wedding party. She is so friendly and her kindness radiates. My makeup trial was a fun experience and Amina took detailed notes which turned into huge time savers on the actual wedding day. It was easy to talk through my preferences and Amina was patient when I changed my mind from soft glam to a matte look. Also-Her eyelash application skills are out of this world! I looked and felt so beautiful on my wedding day thanks to Amina!

Amina is incredible. She did my makeup when I was a bridesmaid in another wedding and I knew I needed her for my wedding. She was friendly, flexible & understanding, clearly explained everything, and did an incredible job the day of. She works well with all types of skin color and complexions. I am pale and covered in freckles so I was worried my makeup would be too thick and cover my freckles. Amina heard my concerns and exceeded my expectations by making my face look amazing without hiding my freckles. She even provided small containers of all the makeup in case I needed to touch up anything later in the day. We got ready in my hotel room and I was concerned we wouldn't have enough space or the right materials but Amina brought everything we needed. I could not be more thankful for her & I will recommend her to everyone!!

Amina is a godsend of beauty! She and her team were incredible and super flexible as we had many schedule changes day of. From the trial to the actual day we had constant communication and she was very timely with her responses and our requests! Everyone felt beautiful and looked like rockstars. I was less than two weeks away from my wedding day and very stressed to say the least, when I found Amina. After a botched hair and make up trial with another individual, my event coordinator recommended I check Wedding Wire. I was lucky enough to come across Amina who was extremely responsive and more than willing to work with me on such short notice. She did not require me to do a trial, which is practically impossible with any other vendor, though I know that doing a trial with her would have only been a very positive experience. On the day of my wedding, Amina brought Jocelyn to do my hair. I have 3 feet of long, thick curly hair, so I knew they were up for a challenge. Both young ladies were extremely professional and put my concerns first and foremost. They effortlessly did my hair and make up and I walked down the aisle looking prettier than ever. My new husband didn’t even recognize me, I looked that good! I got compliments the entire evening from my friends and family about how beautiful my hair and make up was. Jocelyn is an absolute pro with hair and Amina can do make up that perfectly accentuates anyone’s features. I have never seen anybody be able to put false eyelashes on that makes everyone think they are my real eyelashes. I would highly recommend this company to any bride looking for perfect hair and make up for their big day. On such a big occasion, why would you settle for anything less?

I used Bella Jamiel Beauty for my wedding hair and make-up. She was able to accommodate myself, 5 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and some nieces at a very fair price. I'm pretty comfortable with make-up, but I didn't want to have to worry about it (or touch-ups) on my wedding day. My make-up was beautiful! All my pictures look like me, just fancy. The only thing I needed to touch-up was lip gloss after dinner. The hairstylist she worked with was also wonderful. Amina was professional, friendly, and made me feel pampered. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

I honestly don’t even know how to put into words how amazing Amina is! She is absolutely incredible. Her skill and expertise show through her amazing work. She utilizes top-of-line and high quality skincare and makeup products. She has been doing my makeup for years for a number of events and weddings that I attended. When I got engaged, I was so thrilled to hire her to do my makeup as the bride. I got married on November 14, 2020. She arrived early on my wedding day and did a beautiful job on my four bridesmaids and I. I received so many compliments on my wedding makeup.

Wedding planning is stressful (especially during a pandemic), but one thing I did not have to worry about going into my wedding day was my makeup. You can really trust Amina to do an amazing job.  She really nailed it and made me feel so beautiful! Amina is also really mindful of your time, and makes sure to stick to a super organized schedule while getting ready which is so important on your wedding day.

She is very kind and professional, and any bride who hires her will feel comfortable and at ease with her. Please look no further for a makeup artist and book her quickly!! You can seriously count on her to deliver your perfect wedding look. 

I received a trial by the vendor a few weeks ago. Shortly afterwards, I expressed that I wanted to book her for my wedding this summer. There was some back and forth before a drop off period. When I finally did hear from the vendor, she cited personal matters as for why there was no response during the period between 5/16/22 and 6/04/2022.

I really didn't want to write a review, but it was $140 (a nonrefundable fee) for me to do the trial, only to start all over again with another MUA.

At first, I figured that I'd leave no review, but rehashing my experience with a friend this weekend helped me to realize how much of a disservice this was. Also, how it could affect other brides. Even a simple "I'm working out personal matters right now, but will be back in touch shortly" would have made a huge difference in how things turned out. * I lowered my rating after the vendor disputed my original one to be take down.
