Barbara was amazing from the beginning to end! She was very organized, kind, and made us feel very comfortable. We loved the message she shared at our wedding and we would gladly recommend her to anyone! We are blessed she was a big part of our special day.

Where to even start. Genuine, funny, heartfelt, FLEXIBLE to the type of ceremony you want and need. I cannot recommend them enough. Our ceremony was an 11/10 to say the least. Barbara is so kind and has such a warm presence while also having enough sass to keep the groomsmen in line! You will not be disappointed!!

Our wedding ceremony was perfect thanks to Barbara Brown. She made sure everyone understood what to expect during rehearsal, and everyone in the wedding party enjoyed her presence. My husband and I both highly recommend having Barbara Brown as your officiant, she made everyone feel comfortable and is truly an amazing woman who knows what she is doing.

From our first in-person meeting, we knew that we made the right choice to go with Barbara. Her spirit beams with kindness and her energy is infectious. Most importantly, she included segments in our ceremony that imbued it with love that I wouldn’t have thought of on my own. Our entire wedding party thought she was lovely as well. She was also very responsive and warm and accommodating with last minute revisions. A few days after our wedding, we received notice that our marriage license was filed! We are so happy that she was able to be a part of our special day and took care of our paperwork so quickly!

Barbara was the most absolute AMAZING wedding officiant we could have ever had. When I say I was stressed about finding the right officiant - I mean it. How do we chose someone that doesn't know us to marry us on such an important day? Well when we met Barbara - all stress disappeared. Barbara was extremely personable, so purely genuine, asked us so many great questions to get to know us and our relationship, and made everything about out ceremony flow flawlessly. Not to mentioned she is so funny - we had so many compliments on how great our officiant was after the wedding! One thing we will never forget was that Barbara told us after we walked back up the aisle married to walk off and take a few minutes alone with each other to take it all in. Well, those few minutes we still talk about and how special they were. We can never thank Barbara enough for making our wedding ceremony truly special!

I've used the plural of professional in that title because, whether you wind up with Joe or Barbara Brown on your big day, your getting both as a team, everyday leading up.

They have both clearly been in the game a very long time and both very much know what they're doing.

Prior to the wedding, Joe and Barbara carefully walked us through every detail of the service (by zoom call, thanks Covid), weaving us in great detail a step by step synopsis of how it would all go down. They offer an array of features and flourishes (who walks with whom, readings, sand ceremonies and the like) and you get to choose what you’d like to have or omit and where exactly in the timeline they fall.

Rehearsal day, Joe wrangled my herd-of-cats-like family with poise, professionalism and grace - making sure even the most attention-deficited of our wedding party understood exactly where they needed to be and when.

And day of, he commanded the pier – drawing attention to himself when addressing the guests and stealthily fading into the background when our moments as bride and groom were paramount. He spoke clearly and from the heart, never once looking down to check a script or crib-sheets.
