We hired Rayven based on her beautiful hair & make-up photos in hopes to get the same result, and we got that and so much more! I first met Rayven at her studio for my beauty trial and she took so much time and care into perfecting my look! I have had experiences with other hair & makeup professionals and was disappointed when they put colors on me that didn't work with my skin tone, but not Rayven. I loved every element of it, but one of my favorite qualities of Rayven is that she made it so comfortable for me to provide my feedback and insisted that she wanted to know because she wanted me to be happy with it. She certainly had no intention of rushing the process. I was so happy with it, but she also recommended wearing the hair and make up for the day and then to send her with feedback after living with it for a while which was so helpful and made me feel so comfortable that my look would last the whole evening. When Rayven and her team showed up on the wedding day, I felt calm seeing a familiar face. She handled so many questions and requests from my friends and family with a smile on her face, we all felt that she truly was there to make sure everyone looked and felt beautiful, including my grandmother who wanted to get her hair and makeup done for the first time. The most meaningful thing that Rayven provided for me was peace of mind. Occasionally, she would quietly ask “you ok?”, and when she did, I could tell that she could see in my face that I was getting overwhelmed with the hustle and excitement of the day. Her question reminded me to breathe and be present and mindful on my special day, which as all brides know, can be difficult but is so, so important. That simple question was a gentle reminder that I couldn’t be more thankful for and truly sets Rayven apart, aside from her incredible talent for hair and makeup. Rayven was the best!!! I appreciated that she makes you look like yourself just better! My bridesmaids and I are super picky about hair and makeup and not one person complained! Everyone was so thrilled that they looked exactly how they pictured. My sister even said it was the first time she every got hair and makeup done where it turned out exactly how she explained. I also got stitches 2 weeks before my wedding and Rayven worked wonders to hide my scar...not one person could even tell it was there!!! She was perfect and she made me and all my girls look perfect : )

Rayven did a wonderful job on the makeup for my daughter the bride, and all the bridesmaids. we all looked beautiful on the wedding day, and our makeup stayed flawless for the entire evening.

Rayven took the time at the initial consultation and trial session to get to know the bride and what she wanted. The day of, she matched the makeup for each person with their wants and personalities, and the hair stylist was able to create the perfect hair style for each person.

I loved Rayven!! My hair remained in tact the whole day. My makeup is exactly what I had dreamed of for my wedding. The bridesmaids enjoyed her as well. She is funny and easy to talk to. Rayven did both my engagement pictures and wedding makeup and hair.

I like to think I've learned a couple of things leading up to the Big Day...one thing I know for certain is that when you pick who will be with you all day in the bridal suite, you need people who are calming, joyful and who put you at ease. I hit the jackpot with Rayven and her team! Not only did they transform us into beauties (like almost a dozen ladies) in record time, we had an absolute blast the whole day. She did both my engagements and my wedding day hair/makeup as well as my bridesmaids and I can't imagine anyone doing a better job than she did. She listens to each person and what they want and is able to execute it all FLAWLESSLY. I was nervous that my makeup and hair would not stay the same by the time my wedding started because it was several hours later and it looked the exact same from the time she completed it early afternoon until I finished with our grand exit at 11:30 At first, you will think it is somewhat expensive and you could do your own makeup or hair or go to a salon, but trust me, every penny is worth it! You want someone who can make you look like you but your best you! You do NOT need that stress on your wedding day of worrying that you won't like the way you look. You are the BRIDE. It also makes your bridesmaids feel confident and feel great about the way they look too. It takes so much pressure off and you can focus on what the day is truly about. She is very calm and goes with the flow of the day despite all of the craziness. She has an amazing talent and is also a sweetheart! I am so happy to have shared our big day with her!
