Emily was the photographer for our June wedding in Vienna, VA - and she was amazing! She was very helpful with any questions we had before our wedding and she was super nice and put us at ease throughout the whole process. On the day of our wedding, she seemed to be everywhere at once, capturing every moment of our big day! We couldn't be happier with our choice of a photographer for the most important day of our lives together!

Emily was absolutely fantastic to work with for our wedding. Not only were her photography skills apparent but she was a friend throughout the wedding planning process. It was quite helpful to have a catholic photographer who knew the important moments to capture during our wedding mass. She was quick to respond to any emails or calls and put us at ease. We knew we could focus on other tasks and not have to worry about photo quality and picking locations at our church and reception venue with Emily leading the charge. Emily has great value for what she charges because she provides clients with an engagement session shoot, in which we got to develop a relationship before our big day. Emily gave us our sneak peak 10 days after our wedding and full album within 5 weeks! Many couples are not that fortunate. You won't regret picking Emily to handle your wedding photos!

I wish we could work with Emily again!! She is so professional, quick, and cool, and I was excited to find someone who shares our Catholic faith and understands our priorities on our special day. Some wedding vendors make everything about themselves, but not Emily. From the beginning, she put us at ease with her warmth, humor, and organization. We were wowed by the valuable materials she sent us early on that gave detailed account of all of her wedding day recommendations, as well as items such as color palettes for engagement shoots which we wouldn't have even thought of; she really offers you all of her experience, knowledge, and taste, while never being over-bearing. Besides the gorgeous photos themselves, we were so grateful for the speed with which she got both our engagement and wedding photos to us. We were thrilled to return from our Honeymoon to find we had already received a sneak peak, which was such a gift to us and our family. Can't recommend Emily enough!

Working with Emily was absolutely amazing. She was extremely responsive, kind, and professional while working together. Our wedding day was a bit chaotic, but she managed to help us coordinate and still get amazing portraits and pictures of the wedding. We chose the full day package, and it was worth it. She captured all the moments between our guests and family beautifully. Looking through the pictures, we felt like we were transported back to our wedding day. Highly recommend!

My Wife and I were very pleased with Emily's services. She went above and beyond to meet with us in person and explain how everything works. She gave us tips on how to improve the flow of our wedding. She also checked in with us often. She is a very talented, kind, and responsive professional!

Having Emily as our photographer at our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. We did the engagement photo shoot as well as the wedding day photography. Both experiences were wonderful! Emily knew what to look for in terms of setting and lighting and all the photos turned out fantastic! She took both planned and candid shots, and some of the candid shots turned out to be our favorites! She helped us design our wedding album afterwards and absolutely love it. Emily did an incredible job all around and we're glad we have all these pictures from our day.

I cannot recommend Beauty of the Soul Studio enough! Emily photographed our engagement shoot and wedding and she was professional, communicative, kind, and so accommodating with our needs and quirks. We are the type of couple who HATES photos and we barely have taken any of us as a couple ourselves, but Emily ensured we were comfortable, took the reigns, and dealt wonderfully with our slow responses to her emails throughout the chaos. We originally didn’t want to do an engagement shoot (even though we paid for it) but she took the time to explain why she recommends it, and we are so glad she did it. We love the photos and our friends and family continue to rave about how beautiful they turned out. And they really, really did!
