My mother met Mary one day a few months before my wedding nearby my hometown, saw the beautiful jewelry she creates, and got into a conversation about my wedding and the fact that we hadn't made a decision on jewelry for myself, my Mom and my bridesmaids. The rest was history.

We first worked with Mary on jewelry design. In her home studio, we saw the amount of hard work she puts into making each of her creations, which whether for more casual or formal affairs, were each very beautiful. When it came to designing the jewelry for my wedding party, Mary listened closely to each of my ideas, and encouraged me to voice what I didn't like, liked, or loved. You can tell from working with her that her goal is to make the bride happy and comfortable. And happy and comfortable I was.

She was also very accommodating - very close to the wedding date I realized that one of my bridesmaids didn't have holes for earrings and needed hers to be changed to clip ons. A quick call to Mary was all it took to solve that problem, and Mary was happy to do it.

My bridesmaids, mother and myself were incredibly impressed with the jewelry, and I've worn mine since, on my honeymoon. It's a piece of jewelry that means so much and that I will have forever, and it holds a lot of memories. I can't think of any other person I'd rather have worked with than Mary on such an important part of my wedding.

Wedding Coordinator

During the meetings we had with Mary regarding jewelry, my mother and I shared our concerns with setting up our venue for the reception, Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven, on the wedding day. I had done most of the vendor "shopping" and wedding planning myself, with help from my now husband, and that included looking for a caterer, DJ, linen company for chair covers, photographer, etc. I realized quickly that I may have been in just a bit over my head!

Mary put our minds at ease when she offered to set up the reception for us. She has done plenty of the same for others throughout her life, and seeing how dedicated she was to making beautiful jewelry, I knew she'd be just as dedicated to making our wedding reception beautiful. And she didn't do just that....

Before I knew it, she was taking all my vendors' information to check in with them in the weeks and days prior to the wedding. She spent a whole evening with my mother and myself making sure I knew what needed to be done and when on my end, in terms of paying vendors, etc. Although she'd always say that it wasn't the case, I knew after one of those meetings that I would have been lost in the planning process if it wasn't for her. She'd check in every once in a while-never being overbearing or a bother-just to see how I was doing. And every email I sent, well I'm not exaggerating when I tell you it was answered within the hour. I smiled big when I found out she had a special alarm on her phone for when my emails or texts came through!

The day of the wedding, Mary took care of several errands we would have had to do ourselves, like pick up the grooms cake, pick up balloons that would guide guests to the venue, etc. And when we arrived at the reception following ceremony, we were so incredibly happy. It was beautiful! Prior to our arrival, she coordinated aspects of the reception as needed with the caterer, bartender, DJ, chair cover rental company, etc., so that all ran smoothly. When she realized my bridesmaids bouquets had wilted terribly by the time we arrived at the reception, she took cell phone pictures that my mother was able to print and show to our florist. Everything about the reception went smoothly and beautifully.

I very highly recommend Mary as a wedding coordinator, and have already done so to friends. I've said it many times, my family and I are blessed to have met her.
