Basil Catering is an amazing restaurant and catering company. Someone recommended them to us and we will recommend it to everyone. At our free taste testing, they came out with everything we talked about for our wedding. It was SO GOOD. They even let us take the remaining portions home with us. We couldn’t stop telling people how good the food was. Just an FYI - if you go for a taste testing, you feel as though you are driving through a neighborhood. My fiancé (now husband) and I were confused at first. For our wedding, we had an outdoor reception for 200 guests in my in-law’s backyard. Basil cooked out of the kitchen at my in-laws. We had 5 apps, 2 salads, bread, and 3 main meals. Everyone was full and happy and we even had extras left over (that our guests ate throughout the night and the next day). They brought everything we needed (linens, glassware, etc.) and since we bought by the tray rather than by each plate, it was extremely affordable! The one thing that may leave you a little uncertain is that there is no contract or form you fill out and you don’t need to leave an initial deposit like other vendors, so to some it may seem like they will be unreliable. However they are extremely reliable! I’m sure if you asked, they would fill one out. All in all – we loved Basil Catering and will definitely go have dinner there again!
