My partner and I had started to plan our wedding without the extra support and quickly learned the value of hiring proper planners. After about a week of having Alicia and Laura onboard to help us out, they had already accomplished in a few days what my partner and I had attempted to do over the two months prior!

They know all of the right questions to ask and have great relationships with vendors and business owners all over Sullivan County. They were able to step up and save the day when we lost our florist less than a week out from our wedding day.

We got married at the Barn on Hubbard, who work with Bash as wedding planners. They were the most important, talented, and dedicated vendor we worked with -- our wedding would've been completely unmanageable without Alicia and Laura, who wrangled every vendor and had worked out every small detail before our big day. We went through everything imaginable, including a last-minute COVID situation with folks close to us that were part of the ceremony, and Bash was always there to support us and brainstorm solutions. The layout, decor, etc were carefully thought out by Laura, who has decades of experience in interior design and worked closely with us to realize our vision. Alicia, on the other hand, thought through all the operational details (including the day-of wind speed, which was very relevant to our ceremony) and ensured everyone was doing their part, couple included! (they even tracked down an unresponsive vendor and took the stress off us -- seriously, you NEED to hire Bash).

After a year of planning calls and figuring out everything together, Bash was also there the entire weekend of our wedding making sure everything went as planned. We did not have to think about logistics whatsoever the day of, and just got to enjoy our wedding to its fullest.

We cannot say enough about how amazing Alicia and Laura were! I never thought I needed or wanted coordinators but they were a complete dream! They were so kind and accomodating with our changed plans due to covid. They came prepared with questions we had never even thought about and were so understanding with our visions of the day. The minute they arrived they were ready to go and were always ten steps ahead of me. We had a medical emergency halfway through the reception and they were so instrumental in helping the rest of our guests as well as coordinating on-the-fly vendor changes and challenges during that event. Absolutely one of the best decisions we ever made was choosing them to be part of our wedding!

Let me tell you about the best expense I could have on my big day! If you are a professional who is getting married- You will be so thankful that you hired Laura at Bash Events! There is not a single thing that I had to think of leading up to or even on my big day. The peace of mind that I received has no monetary value. Never had or has the thought “is this done? or do I need to? or I wish I had done” cross my mind through the often stressful, and always time consuming wedding planning process.

I am a very hands on and detail oriented person- it was so nice to have someone who shared those same attributes. The time, attention and detail she placed in to me as a bride is unparalleled. I am so thankful I stumbled across her for my wedding and will truly have her on speed dial for any and all of my future special events!

Hiring Bash was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. As someone who works in the industry, I understood from the get go that having wedding planners would be a great help to me but I had no idea how much I truly needed them to pull off our wedding. Throughout the planning process, Laura and Alicia were a calming presence who always had a creative solution for any problem that came up. Even when COVID hit and we had to postpone our wedding (twice), Laura and Alicia were level-headed and talked us through every option, during a time when we felt completely overwhelmed and hopeless. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Laura and Alicia were both very responsive to my (late night) emails, provided us with a detailed run of show, and asked us thoughtful questions which ultimately led to an extremely smooth day of. On our wedding day, I felt completely comfortable handing over all responsibility to Laura and Alicia to see things through, which allowed me to relax, enjoy getting ready with my friends and family, and focus on the task at hand--marrying my best friend! Laura executed the day of plan with perfection, and gracefully handled my very last minute requests without hesitation, even picking up slack where other vendors fell short. Alicia served as my shadow throughout the day, providing me with any last minute touch ups or mints, and even helped me change for the after party. They both dealt with our complex family dynamic elegantly. If anything went wrong, I did not know about it or hear about it after the fact. I could not have imagined the day without them and my husband and I are truly indebted to them for everything they did to make our day so extremely special. After planning our wedding with them for over a year (thanks COVID), I was so grateful to have these two amazing women on my team--it felt like having two dedicated, energetic, and diligent friends helping me along the way. I cannot recommend BASH enough for their wedding planning services.
