Nestled in Madison, Wisconsin, Barnwood Events is a wedding and event venue that combines rustic elegance with contemporary comforts. Open from the end of 2020 onward, the barn sits on eight acres of secluded woodland. Oaks, maple trees, cottonwood, and willows dot the landscape, creating a mosaic of foliage to serve as the backdrop for your special day. With walking trails and the beauty of nature at your fingertips, you and your sweetheart can craft an event that is also a memorable retreat.
Facilities and Capacity
Barnwood Events has been carefully designed to ensure that you and your loved ones have access to numerous amenities. Heating and air conditioning are among these conveniences, as are restrooms. When you walk into the barn you are greeted by lofty ceilings that have timber beams complemented by wagon-wheel chandeliers. This spacious area is able to accommodate up to 300 guests. Glass doors allow you and your nearest and dearest to move out onto the adjacent porch, which can be used year-round. This entryway also allows individuals to take in the natural sights surrounding the building. For you and your other half, along with your wedding entourage, there are dressing rooms available. These include TVs to help you unwind. Up to 14 people can also spend the night at the location in the farmhouse. This historic home from the 19th century is intended to provide a cozy refuge for you and your loved ones. Additional space is available outside for RVs if you require more room for guests that are spending the night.

The well-equipped event space allows you to add bespoke touches to bring your wedding vision to life. The barn has high-quality audio-visual technology so you can share your favorite home videos. During your event, professional staff is employed to ensure the proceedings go smoothly. Bartenders can also be hired with the bar packages to serve your guests' drinks. With tables and chairs available, getting the barn set for your soiree is straightforward. For a rustic-chic touch, there are also whiskey barrel tables that can be used for receptions.

A Perfect Wedding Venue – Beyond Our Expectations!
One of the best features was the option to rent the farmhouse for the weekend. It made the entire experience so much more convenient and comfortable for us and our wedding party. We were able to relax, mingle, and enjoy each other’s company before and after the big day, which made the entire weekend feel like an unforgettable celebration.
The owners and staff truly put their hearts and souls into making sure our wedding day was everything we dreamed of, and in some ways, even better than we imagined. They are incredibly knowledgeable and thought of every detail, even the things we hadn’t considered. We could tell that they genuinely care about making each event special and unique.
Our day-of coordinator was an absolute godsend! She made sure everything ran smoothly, so we were able to focus on enjoying our special day without worrying about the details or managing vendors. Her professionalism and calm demeanor were exactly what we needed to stay relaxed and have fun throughout the entire event.
