The Wildwood Barn & Cottage is a charming rural outdoor wedding venue nestled in the countryside of Waterloo, Wisconsin. Now in its third generation, this family-owned farm is an ideal setting for peaceful weekend weddings. With planning assistance and overnight accommodations, this lovely location is a well-appointed site for celebrations small and large.
Facilities and Capacity
This elegant venue was designed to host rustic, eco-friendly celebrations. The rich history of the farm adds a sense of unique authenticity to events. Hidden amid 35 acres of pastoral land, the farm offers couples a tranquil oasis to celebrate new beginnings. Over 6,000 square feet of indoor space means soon-to-be-weds can plan an extravagant event no matter the weather. The happy couple can exchange vows beneath an ornate brass chandelier in the traditional 100-year-old barn. Alternatively, there are plenty of enchanting spaces throughout the grounds suitable for open-air ceremonies. Tented receptions are possible against the backdrop of the inspiring farm, with a maximum capacity of 200 guests. A number of outhouses such as the milking parlor add to the unique offerings of The Wildwood Barn & Cottage. This antique building has been updated to include a 40-foot barrel bar, ideal for rustic celebrations. There are designated spaces for both sides of the wedding party to prepare. As well as a get-ready space, the cottage serves as a quaint honeymoon suite for the newlyweds on their first night as a married couple. This romantic property features lovely antique decor, cozy sleeping arrangements, and modern amenities.
Services Offered
The venue’s staff will plant a tree in honor of the happy couple on their wedding weekend. The rental of the venue includes three-day access so soon-to-be-weds have plenty of time to bring their vision to life. This includes two nights of accommodation in the on-site cottage for the happy couple. Other guest lodgings are available in nearby towns within a 10-mile radius of the venue. In addition to handcrafted bars and converted outbuildings, the farm has a range of event items to offer. The team can supply tents, furniture, lighting, and their range of vintage decor adds unique, historic character. The team welcomes outside vendors so couples can put their own individual spin on the celebrations. Soon-to-be-weds can bring in their own alcohol and have full use of the 10 cubic foot freezer to store ice and galvanized steel bins to keep beverages icy cold. On-site hair and makeup services are also available, further streamlining the planning process for couples.
