Thankful to Chef Jayne and Banchan A La Carte for making my wedding memorable and beautiful!

The food was delicious and Chef Jayne has an amazing vision for her company and her food. Banchan also provided an elegant guest and buffet table set up.

Chef Jayne loves what she does and she shows it in her hospitality. I had great communication with her and her staff during the planning process, and on the big day. She delivered even more than what she promised, and I felt at ease knowing that guests would have a great experience with food and ambiance.

We used Banchan a la Carte as the caterer for our wedding of 150 people. What initially drew us to Banchan was the promise of delicious Korean food, as we felt that it would be something different and exciting compared to most wedding food. We met with Jayne for our initial tasting and were blown away by how good the food tasted, so we decided to go with them. Fast forward 10 months later to the wedding: everything turned out beautifully. We are waiting to get pictures back from our photographer, but the food was plentiful, gorgeously displayed, and most importantly, absolutely delicious! There was quite the spread, from Korean short rib and sushi to a carving station and a noodle bar with three different types of noodles/broths. Everything tasted fantastic, and I swear every guest we talked with at the reception commented on how delicious and fun the food was. I can personally confirm: it was delicious.

My only hesitation to a full-throated recommendation to working with Banchan a la Carte for your wedding is that we occasionally had some communication issues when working with them in the time leading up to the wedding. On one occasion, they had forgotten that we were meeting that particular day. On another, we had asked to sample some appetizers, but when we arrived we were told that they weren't available that day. They also didn't seem very flexible when presented with some requests, and certain minor things that we had wanted didn't end up happening. It's nothing that took away from the magic of our wedding day, but did make us occasionally feel a little frustrated during the planning process.

Long story short: Banchan a la Carte makes amazing food, and we are so happy that we went with them for our wedding. We loved it, the guests loved it, and the presentation was beautiful. There were a few hiccups during the planning process, but if you were to ask us if we would go with Banchan again, the answer would be ABSOLUTELY YES.
