Beautiful Gem for Small Weddings

I cannot recommend the Bailey Arboretum enough for an intimate wedding in a beautiful and unique setting with the large dawn redwood trees. The event coordinator there now, Courtney, was such a blessing to have and wonderful to work with right from the start. She always took time to communicate quickly with us and ask questions if we needed any help. The day of, Laura helped us out with putting things out and assisting and she was very sweet to work with as well. The day there was beautiful and not many other outside people around so it was quite a quiet and intimate ceremony. I definitely recommend the spot for those wanting a smaller venue, as you can also have your catering there if you don't want to go to a separate spot for a reception. The arboretum is wonderful for kids to hang out after the ceremony as well, as they have a children's habitat section with a play area. The space is beautiful for pictures as well, and we were there at a time where the leaves were beginning to change more. We will definitely recommend this spot to others we know for any future events. Thank you!

Easy, affordable stunning venue with great service!

My new husband and I are so pleased to be able to leave this review / recommendation for the Bailey Arboretum. We came to know the Bailey Arboretum through word of mouth. We were in the market for an outdoor wedding venue that could host a small wedding of under 40 people. We wanted something outdoors because of the current Covid-19 restrictions. We did NOT want to take a chance with booking an indoor space that would later have to be cancelled because of changing regulations on indoor events. We asked friends, we asked family, and we did a lot of googling. After all was said and done we settled on 3 potential venues including the Bailey Arboretum. After drafting a few questions regarding safety measures, costs, amenities, and flexibility we gave each of our 3 potential venues a call... the Bailey Arboretum won us over from that first phone call. Not only did they give all the "right" answers to our questions, but the Even Coordinator we spoke to, Lisa, was just so friendly and flexible. We scheduled a walk through of the venue shortly after, where Lisa gave us a detailed guided tour of the space, including potential ceremony spaces, etc. We decided on the bird garden for our venue but expressed concern because the parking lot was a little far for our guests to walk... Lisa immediately put our minds at ease and said they would open up the other gate and allow guests to park closer to the bird garden. She finished the tour with a walk through of the main house where guests were able to use the bathrooms. We were so so happy with the venue and confirmed we'd like to book right then and there. The last question we had was regarding flowers. We weren't sure if flowers would be needed since the Arboretum itself is so colorful. Lisa offered to photograph the exact space where the ceremony would take place for us so we could make a decision on flowers close to the date. 1 week before the even Lisa sent us photographs and my Husband and I made the decision we would like to add some flowers...we leaned entirely on Lisa for a recommendation. Lisa recommended an AMAZING local florist and even acted as the go between with our budget and needs. This type of service went far above and beyond anything we could have asked for. Finally, the day came and we arrived early to capture photographs before our guests arrived. Lisa was waiting for us with everything ready, she pinned our bottonierres on us and assured us that everything was ready and would go off flawlessly. True to her word the entire event went off flawlessly, we were blessed with a 75 degree day in November. All of our guests felt so well taken care of, Lisa helped usher us through the entire ceremony step by step. My Husband and I gave Lisa a very big thank you and left with the biggest smiles. The entire event was so magical. The venue was beautiful, the flowers were beautiful, and chair setup and house were beautiful, and we never once felt like we were alone in the process of planning this wedding since the first time we called Lisa with a list of screening questions. We would 100000% recommend this venue and Lisa to anyone. We're grateful we found this place and her.

Perfect for our Small Ceremony

We decided on Bailey Arboretum as the location for our wedding ceremony, as our reception had to be postponed to next year. We still wanted to have a wedding ceremony this year. Lisa was very responsive and professional, she answered every question we had leading up to the ceremony. We were even able to book a quick tour so we could scope out the best spots. If you are considering getting married in an intimate setting, we highly recommend one of the larger trees! There are many other spots (gazebos, stone platforms, etc) that would be beautiful choices as well. We plan on coming back when we can have our full wedding and take pictures with our bridal party. Thank you for everything!

Picturesque & Unique Venue

Due to the pandemic, we were looking for a venue that would give us a unique experience and accommodated a mini-ceremony space. Bailey Arboretum was perfect for us, they had multiple areas available for different ceremony experiences depending on the feel you were looking for. The arboretum also had plentiful areas for beautiful pictures. We coordinated with Lisa, who was always quickly responsive and helped us plan for what we were looking for. We are both happy we chose Bailey's Arboretum for our intimate and mini ceremony.

Exactly what we wanted!

My husband and I were married at Bailey Arboretum 10 days ago. Everything was perfect. We wanted a smaller venue, with a nature theme. So many venues on Long Island are huge, over the top, and very expensive. We wanted a place that would be comfortable, and beautiful. Having our wedding here also enabled us to choose the parts of our day that we wanted to splurge on, it didn't all have to go to paying for the venue. There were also many opportunities to personalize the space. I would absolutely recommend Bailey Arboretum to anyone, and we will probably go there again if we need a venue for any other event.

I had my daughters wedding at the Bailey Arboretum Oct 21 2017. We had the entire Arboretum and Bailey House for 9 hours. A wonderful experience all the way around for all of us and all my guests. Unique, beautiful, intimate and elegant. Very reasonable site fee for such beauty. The Bailey makes you feel like you are in another time and place. Breathtaking environment. Green Pear Catering, and owner Gina Talenti, Along with Hospitality Inc., Cocktail Company, Owner Gina Weinstein, and the Bailey Arboretum and the Bailey coordinator Jenny Klainberg helped make my daughter’s wedding day an elegant, unique and magical experience. Jenny Klainberg, was simply wonderful. A delight to work with, she worked the wedding so smoothly, we all really enjoyed the day because Jenny made sure everything was just right. She is a complete and thorough stress reliever. She took care of everyone’s needs and was so organized, with attention to every detail. From rentals and set up to running the wedding without a hitch. Jenny was most helpful all 9 hours of the day. We could not have lived/loved and laughed without her that day. Food was delicious, Farm to Table seasonal. Presentation was top of the line. We felt like we were in a high end private restaurant. Cocktails were delicious, creative with exceptional presentation. Florist was Roots Flowers and Treasures, very creative and talented. Cori made the house so elegant and everything was a work of Art. Music, Erik Mc Cormack and band, extremely talented. I highly recommend all these vendors. They were all so easy to work with. Very attentive and delivered a top of the line event.

We just had our wedding at Bailey Arboretum September 23rd, 2017 and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. Besides the absolute beauty of the Bailey house, the grounds are gorgeous. As we had more people than could fit in the house we rented a tent outside and had the most magical wedding. A tented wedding under the stars, couldn't ask for more! We worked with Jenny as the event manager and she was absolutely wonderful before and throughout the event!
