I couldn’t be happier with the baker I chose — Backyard Bakeries! I had such a hard time finding someone who could bring my ideas to life. My wedding theme was succulents, and I wanted fondant or buttercream succulents on both my cake and cupcakes. After trying several bakers — some with disappointing taste or quality, and others unable to execute my vision — I finally came across Robin at Backyard Bakeries.

From the very beginning, Robyn was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was kind, accommodating, and never once dismissed my ideas. Instead, she encouraged me and helped make them even better!

On the day of my wedding, everyone couldn’t stop talking about how incredible the cake setup looked. I could tell Robyn herself was proud of her beautiful creation — and rightfully so! Not only did the cake look stunning, but it tasted amazing too.
The cake was poppyseed lemon and the cupcakes were cookies and cream.

Robyn also makes other delicious treats like macarons, which I now regret not adding to my order! I’ll definitely be returning to Backyard Bakeries for all my future special occasions.

We came to Robyn with a very unique cake request. We wanted a geode cake with painted on fire and water in our wedding colors. And boy, did she deliver. She listed to our description of the cake we visualized in our heads along with sketches we drew up trying to explain it. She asked clarifying questions to get the details right, along with offering suggestions we hadn’t thought of that made the finished product pop! Plus, the most important part about the cake? It tasted AMAZING! I am not ashamed to admit I ate three slices, and probably could have kept going back for more if the dance floor hadn’t been calling me all night. Working with Robyn was a dream. We highly recommend you reach out to Robyn for your next event’s cake.

I am SO glad we found Backyard Bakeries for our wedding! Robyn is amazing, friendly, communicative, and overall so fun to chat with during our tasting! We absolutely loved every tasting sample we tried and it made it so much harder to choose our flavors and desserts! My husband and I didn’t even get to try the dessert bar because our guests snatched everything up so fast. They absolutely raved about the desserts (we were a little jealous we didn’t get to them first). We even had our dogs custom painted on our cake!

We will definitely be using Backyard Bakeries again! Maybe to place the dessert bar same order :)

Amazing experience all-around in taste, look, and service for our wedding day. We worked with Robyn and Backyard Bakeries for our wedding cake in July at Grand Lake, Colorado. We are out of state, and Robyn mailed us samples and was super detail oriented in customizing flavors according to my taste (and we even had a second tasting during an onsite visit in CO). I also didn't want super sweet cakes, so Robyn reduced the sugar content as much as she could while maintaining the structural integrity of the cake for summer heat. The cake turned out gorgeous and totally in line with our vision and color palette. We had a small set of desserts for other dietary needs, and my guests raved about the macarons. Thank you for contributing to the magic of our day, Robyn!

We opted for a desert bar with a wedding cake that was pink champagne flavored (basically a drool worthy lighter red velvet), espresso brownies and key lime tarts.
All the deserts were amazing!! They are the elevated versions of classic favorites. On taste alone we highly recommend.
In terms of the look, I was incredibly happy. Robyn brought my pinterest board to life! I would highly recommend Backyard Bakeries to any bride.

Robyn at Backyard Bakeries is amazing! I found her online for my daughter’s destination wedding in Colorado. She is professional, personable and punctual! And her cakes are incredible! I would definitely and highly recommend Backyard Bakeries.

This was our first daughter to be married, and we will choose Robyn again and again to make cakes for other weddings, baby showers, and birthday parties. She connected very well with my daughter (who is frequently hard to connect with) on what she wanted for her wedding cake. It was GORGEOUS and simply delicious. My family and I sat around our wedding rental house late into the night eating a bunch of it. The cream cheese frosting is to die for, and our daughter chose Funfetti and Carrot Cake - both moist, perfectly delicious. The cake was sweet, but not overly sweet, which I really loved. We also asked Robyn to make cupcakes and macarons to match. The cupcake frosting matched the cake perfectly and OH!! Those macarons!! You have not had an ideal macaron until you've munched on one of Robyn's. Truly spectacular!

My daughter had a destination wedding in Breckenridge. I had no idea how her wedding cake was going to look or taste. The cake was beautiful and the perfect Red Velvet that my daughter wanted. We also ordered a Grooms cake at the last minute, it was perfect! I would reccomend Backyard Bakery to anyone!
