Occasionally capturing her subjects on film, Astrid believes in the power of storytelling and is dedicated to preserving each and every story through her photographs.

Astrid’s enthusiasm for travel and culture are a constant influence in her work, always looking to tell the grander narrative that makes each story unique. From Indonesia to England, Alaska to Colombia, and Hawaii and New York, Astrid enjoys traveling and photographing weddings all over the world.

When not shooting weddings, Astrid is an avid food and wine enthusiast, loves home design and fashion, and enjoys entertaining. She finds pure happiness in walking farmers markets with coffee in hand, discovering new restaurants, and dining with friends for hours over good food, strong cocktails and deep conversation. Most importantly, Astrid loves simple days at home with her husband, Chris, and their three children, Charlotte, Maddox and Carter. A quiet morning in pajamas with homemade pancakes, soft blankets and being surrounded by her family is her idea of perfection.
