I loved purchasing my cake from a family owned business. My cake was beautiful and tasty. Everyone was very pleased. I definitely don't regret my decision.

Our wedding cake was ABSOLUTELY delicious and Theresa was such a joy to work with! She guided us perfectly in the amount of cake we needed and was extremely willing to design our cake as we asked to make it unique to us! One of the best benefits was that the shop itself went out and bought the ribbons for the cake when every other place I looked into stated I would need to go out and find the ribbons as well as pay extra fees for the cake to be delivered to downtown Dayton in which Ashley's did not charge above their normal fees. They were extremely professional and always had a smile on their face making us feel like a part of their family.

We ordered different flavors of cupcakes with a top level cake for cutting. The tower of cupcakes looked amazing and tasted great! We can't wait to have our anniversary cake.

Ashley's is really easy to work with and very open to just about anything.

They did a great job. I knew exactly what I wanted for the outside details of the cake and she did exactly what I wanted and she did a fantastic job. I wanted some ribbon and jewels and she provided those for me. She also provided the monogram cake topper that we wanted as well. She was very affordable and I would recommend this cake shop to anyone who is planning a wedding!

We ordered cookies as favors and I would have wished that the decorating on them came out a little less messy but they were still wonderful!

I selected an extremely ornate design from Martha Stewart's Wedding Cakes. Ashely's promised they could replicate this cake for about half the cost of other bakeries in our area. We also ordered a coordinating groom's cake. At the tasting and consultation, all went very well. We loved the taste, and Theresa assured us these cakes were no problem. She drew a detailed description for the decorator and even got a copy of the book to refer to the photo of the finished cake. I was so excited and couldn't wait to see it. When I got there, I was so disappointed. The wedding cake had gaps between the layers and was off-centered. The decorating was something I could have done at home. The color was nothing like what we asked for, and even the design was only slightly similar to the directions we'd left. The grooms cake was downright horrifying. Instead of delicate blue flowers and dainty carrots (it was a carrot cake with a bunny couple topper) we got giant neon orange blobs covering the top. The cake itself was leaning to one side, and the icing didn't even completely cover the sides. We were so embarrassed to show this special surprise to the groom. Although it did taste heavenly. After the wedding my mom returned to the bakery with detailed photos to show Theresa. She agreed that this wasn't at all what we had asked for and refunded more than we had ever expected. She was extremely professional and courteous. In the end, I would still return to them for cakes in the future because I'm sure Theresa will take care of any problem. And the taste was great.
