This picture was taken on stage in the Maguire Theater. The dance floor is a permanent fixture, however tables and seating can be placed on the dance floor to accommodate larger parties.

This picture was taken from the bar which is also a permanent fixture in the Magurie Theater.

No photo shopping here folks! This is Casey and Stephen on their big day. This was taken in the middle of the street right out front of The Center. It was February, and this was the last "big snow" we had here in Elizabeth City. Absolutely gorgeous!

Arts of the Albemarle is a regional non-profit arts council located in Downtown Elizabeth City, North Carolina in the recently renovated historical Lowry-Chesson Building, now called The Center. This world-class facility is home to over 250 artists, craftsman and photographers, the AOA School of the Arts, a multi-discipline visual and performing arts after-school instructional program and the Maguire Theatre, a State-of-the-Art 230 Seat performance space. Overall, we offer a 15,000 square foot building that is suitable for most any event. The atmosphere of the Jenkins Gallery is warm and inviting, while the Maguire Theater and Twiford Room offer a blank canvas allowing you to capture the vision and theme of your event.
