Michelle is an Award-Winning (Best Of Weddings; The Knot and Couple's Choice Award; Wedding Wire) photographer based in Dallas, Texas. Her work has been featured on various blogs (The Kind Bride, The Green Wedding Guild & on Wedding Wire).

Her passion is for capturing the beauty of every couple's unique love story, and she believes the client experience is every bit as important as the images she captures. Michelle has a compassionate soul. Her love for people and her fun-loving approach help her couples feel at ease in every part of the wedding photography process. With COVID, she has gone the extra mile to demonstrate empathy, flexibility, and resiliency despite the challenges.

Happy to talk with you about micro-weddings, elopements, and weddings. I specialize in eco-ethical weddings.

Packages include - an engagement session, digital files, a shooting assistant, and full print rights. 6-hour packages start at $2775.

Amazing photographer to work with! and her prints are AMAZING!!

Michelle is amazing to work with, she talks you though everything before hand so it all feels natural. I asked her to catch the special moments that I wouldn't see cause its our wedding, and she did that and so much more. She is awesome!

Absolutely Amazing

Michelle is just fantastic! She is the sweetest person and amazing at her job. She was so kind to our family (even when they got in the way!) and incredibly creative with our bride and groom photoshoot. You really can't ask for a better photographer on your wedding day! Michelle was awesome to work with. Great communication and flexible. She was on time for all of our meetings and on the wedding day. She had plan B & C, which was helpful given the rain. I received my photos back sooner than promised. Most importantly, our pictures are beautiful! Thank you Michelle!

If you’re looking for a professional photographer who knows exactly what they’re doing, then Michelle is it! After a lot of back and forth (due to the weather and scheduling) Michelle stayed patient and worked with us to get photos taken right in the middle of the cherry blossom festival. She worked some kind of magic because she made it look like it was only my fiancé and I! We’ve never taken professional photos before, but she helped guide us to get exactly what we had envisioned for our engagement photos. If you’re looking for great value, without sacrificing those soft hints of romanticism, Michelle is the only way to go. We liked her so much, we got her for our wedding! I highly recommend her (especially to the military folks out there)!

Michelle is a very talents photographer and we can't wait to have her there for our big day. As part of our package, she included an engagement session and I'm not exaggerating when I say that the last time my fiance and I had professional pictures taken we were seniors in high school. But Michelle made us feel at ease and even sent us some ideas via Pinterest before our session. The pictures were beautiful and a great trial run before the wedding photos. Michelle even touched up a few of our weird/double-chin-inducing angles to make the shots look perfect.

Michelle was so great to work with! She is very detail-oriented which enabled me to get all of the pictures that were important to me. She worked with my budget and was flexible with our financial needs. I appreciated her easygoing personality as well as she helped me to relax throughout the day and made it really fun for us! Michelle is an amazing photographer! She is very professional, flexible, and super sweet. She was so accommodating for my fiance and I. My fiance had to take off work for us to get our engagement photos taken and the day we schedule to take them it was so rainy and gloomy out. I was worried because I didn't want to cancel and my fiance have to ask off work again. Michelle came up with a quick solution and found the cutest historical hotel in downtown Alexandria and so we took our photos inside. They turned out so beautiful. I am really glad that we didn't have reschedule and she saw the glass half full! She really does amazing work and we can not wait for her to capture our wedding day. We are so thankful we found Michelle! So look no further for your photographer and choose Arising Light Photography!
