We absolutely love Arika and cannot recommend her enough!! Arika shot both our engagement photos in January 2022 and wedding in November 2022 (we also used her videography services). For me personally, photo/video are one of the most important services/vendor to choose for a wedding. It’s so important to find someone who can make the wedding of your dreams come to life and capture it so perfectly that you can remember the exact moment/feeling/emotion just as it happened on the wedding day just by looking at their photos. And that’s exactly what Arika did, she is a phenomenal photographer and absolutely crushed it!! I am still in awe of her work and how incredible her photos are. The airy lightness yet bold color of her photos are exactly what we were looking for! My husband and I instantly clicked with Arika when we first met her during our engagement photos. She is super personable, fun, easy-going, and energetic. Leading up to the wedding, I made some last minute tweaks to the photography timeline - I really appreciated how responsive and flexible she was, and always made me feel at ease.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to have an amazing photographer. Not only a photographer with expertise and talent, but also someone you really connect with who is a great person. My husband and I had a blast at our wedding with Arika and her husband, who was our videographer. They made everything so fun and stress-free. I had a few poses I really wanted to do which Arika captured beautifully and then it was so nice to have her direct us and guide us with poses, etc. so that we didn’t have to worry about anything. You can tell how experienced and talented she is (she definitely knows what she’s doing!), and you can tell she really cares about making your day special. There were two moments where I got a little overwhelmed with the magnitude of the day – Arika noticed and came up to me and told me to breathe and to really soak in the moment and to not rush – it was exactly what I needed to hear without even realizing it and I just felt so grateful in those moments to have Arika by my side. We highly recommend Arika for gorgeous, authentic photographs and a really fun, relaxing experience!

There are not enough words to describe how amazing and talented Arika is. Her photography is gorgeous and she was so good at helping us pose and she made the experience so enjoyable with her fun, easygoing personality. During our reception, we asked her to take a group photo that turned into about 15 different group photos and she handled the chaos like the champ that she is. She got us sneak peak photos the morning after our wedding and of course they are amazing and I cannot wait to see all the photos soon. I can’t wait to use Arika again in the future for professional family photos.

You should hire Arika for two reasons:

1) She is soooo helpful throughout the entire process. She gave us excellent recommendations for other vendors and was such a wealth of knowledge and a pleasure to work with.
2) Her work is absolutely PHENOMENAL. We got married on Saturday and by Sunday night Arika had sent us a "sneak peak" of what she had taken. This sneak peak was over 150 photos and all of them we BEAUTIFUL! I have been showing everyone them for the last four days. I am so happy that Arika was available to be our photographer. Her photos are bright and happy and my husband and I (as well as our family and friends) have been gushing over how pleased we are with the final product.

Truly, do yourself a favor and send Arika a message. She is PHENOMENAL!

Arika was SO much fun to work with. We had several reschedules over the course of a year and a half and she was super accommodating and understanding. She was also really supportive through other vendor issues we had in the process - acting as a shoulder to lean on. She wasn’t just a photographer for us! We would recommend her to everyone in need of a wedding / newborn / anything you need a photographer for. In fact, we already have! Arika was absolutely incredible to work with. From the start, she was kind helpful and so willing to go above and beyond to help my now husband and I. Since I was a COVID bride, there was a lot of last minute decisions, moving around schedules and what not, she was responsive and helpful when it came to changing dates. There is so much to say about how amazing Arika and her work both are!

Arika shot our destination wedding in Tulum, Mexico and I honestly don't know what we would have done if we had gone with someone else. Having Arika there was almost like having a friend there. She was able to crank out SO many amazing photos without it taking up so much time (this was something really important to us as we wanted to be present during the ceremony).

She did such a good job handling all the big personalities from our family and friends, and made us feel so comfortable that she got to capture some moments of us being ourselves instead of so formal and posed.

We got our photos so quickly and they completely and totally blew me away. They were so bright, beautiful, and fun! So many people have commented on how gorgeous and unique they were and I couldn't agree more. I can't imagine having had anyone else besides Arika and Andre at our wedding - both for the outcome of the amazing photos, and the way that they meshed with our big day personality and professionalism-wise. Arika is incredible. Both my husband and I were a little nervous about taking engagement pictures, but she made it so easy and comfortable, and our pictures are amazing. Arika had us laughing the entire time, and by the time our wedding rolled around she seemed more like a friend than someone we had only met once before. She captured all of our favorite moments of our wedding day so beautifully, and got us all of our pictures back so quickly. All of our friends and family can’t stop raving about our pictures, and we are so grateful to have hired her to capture our big day.

Arika is a DREAM! Because the photography helps preserve memories of the most special day, I was adamant during wedding planning that an amazing photographer was my number one priority! I met Arika on a rainy day at Biltmore Estate. After my husband proposed to me, and got up from his knee, he said “If you turn around you’ll see our photographer.” From that point forward I knew she would be our photographer for life. Behind the scenes her and Dustin had been planning for months and months on how to make our engagement day perfect (to which it was despite the rain that showed up.) I have to admit I was a little timid at first to pose in front of the camera, but she made us so comfortable that it felt like second nature to smile for her. From engagement session, to bridal portraits, to our wedding she was everything and more that we expected out of a photographer. Being the bride, I had wedding day jitters, so I forgot to tell Arika that I would be at the church instead of the country club, but she took every challenge that I threw her way and rolled with it. Thank you Arika for all that you did for me and Dustin. We love you and your cute little family!!

I met Arika about a year before my wedding to chat about things and I immediately loved her. We had our engagement session on my birthday and the pictures could not have been more beautiful. We shot at several locations and Arika was so patient with us. She will teach you how to 'pose' which comes in handy at the wedding. On our wedding day she was so good at directing everyone. She is SO friendly and fun and truly captures the 'feelings' of the day.
I love how her photos are so bright and colorful, but we also got amazing shots done at night. She is AWESOME. We got our wedding photos back so quickly and I can not stop looking at them. Book Arika ASAP, you will not regret it!!!
