There are so many great things to say about Anorda Photography that we don’t even know where to begin!

We were very fortunate to be connected with Sam & Nick through a recommendation from our wedding planner (shoutout to Carolina Love Events for the hookup!) and we ended up signing up for an Engagement shoot, Wedding Photography & Videography and also an Adventure shoot.

To be honest, my husband and I are not natural photo people, I think we can be accurately labeled as awkward turtles but Sam & Nick made it such an easy going experience from the very get go of the engagement shoot and I think we were honestly shocked to see these relaxed, glamorous, carefree shots of us just being ourselves - Sam just captured this essence and her intuition for where to go and lighting is mind blowing. Nick was even kind enough to help us make sure our dog could join in the photos (but stay a good boy behind the scenes when he wasn’t in the photo).

We were so glad we did the engagement photoshoot because by the time we got to the wedding it was like greeting old friends when Sam & Nick arrived and there were absolutely no nerves about having our entire day documented. Once again they somehow managed to be everywhere at once and capture everything, the intimacy of the ceremony, the endearment of the quiet moments between bride and groom and AMAZING photos of friends and family enjoying the wedding on the dance floor. It has given us such enjoyment to look at these photos that couldn’t have been a more perfect encapsulation of the most magical day of our lives. You can literally feel the love and excitement emanating from every photo - I swear even the detail shots of rings and shoes look unequivocally alive thanks to Sam’s incredible attention to light and shadow.

And Nick’s videos are so good they make us (and all our family) tear up because they are so sentimental but also focused on the movement and joy of the day and the moments, big and small that really were the most memorable. He even managed to catch the exact moment my husband and I “cheers-ed” our glasses and his lime fell into my drink! Seriously, no detail was missed or went unacknowledged in the highlight reel. Our video is quite literally perfect. In fact, we loved it so much we went back and asked if we could add on full length footage of a couple of moments like the ceremony, first dance, dad speech’s etc. All of which were also perfect.

And we’re not done yet! We’re catching up with them in a few weeks to put back on our dress and suit for an adventure session against the beautiful mountains of North Carolina and even a waterfall.

Also as a bonus, their contracting / payment process and photo website delivery is super simple to use which was really helpful for us at a time where we had so many irons in the fire.

So if you’re looking for an incredible wedding photography and videography teamy (and frankly just wonderful people) that cover the Charlotte & Western NC area we couldn’t recommend Anorda enough. We are so grateful to have had the privilege of working with them!

We cannot sing the praises of Sam and Nick enough! Working with them throughout our wedding was wonderful! They are both so kind and made us feel so comfortable during our engagement session and on our wedding day. As two people who aren't super comfortable being the center of attention - we were worried about feeling really awkward in front of the camera, but they were able to make us feel at ease right away. From the first time we met Sam on a video call, we felt like she was a close friend we had known forever. Also, as a same sex couple, it was very important to us to find vendors who were supportive and made us feel comfortable, and with Sam and Nick there was never any question of that!

And on top of all of that, their work is amazing! I am still in awe of all of our photos! The portraits make us feel beautiful, I can't believe that it's us in some of the photos! And they so beautifully captured the candid's action shots. We can't thank Sam and Nick enough for capturing such a special time in our lives.

My husband and I met Anorda Photography through some wild circumstances, but it has been the best thing! From our engagement pictures to wedding pictures, they were there for it all and truly brought our vision to life! We have always said they are our photographers forever. And we feel so blessed to have them there to capture our fondest memories.

We started our photographer search with our budget (since we were on a strict one), and found Anorda Photography. This husband and wife duo delivered above and beyond on not only our picture gallery, but our wedding video (I still cry every time I watch it). Sam and Nick even made a separate trip to Charleston a few months before the wedding for introductions and to confirm the coverage we wanted for the big day. They were both super easy to work with and definitely bring a laid-back energy to their style and approach (which is needed for high anxiety brides!). While the files did take around 3 months to receive, it was well worth it, and we understood as they had their busiest season yet! They were very responsive and open with the projected timeline (it was hard being patient). We definitely plan to use Sam and Nick again for any major life event photo shoots needed and recommend them 1,000%. THANK YOU ANORDA!

Nick and Sam have so much talent and are so flexible. Weather didn't cooperate for either of our sessions but the pictures were still wonderful and everything we expected. We also brought our dogs to both shoots and Nick and Sam were a great help in getting pups to cooperate. To sum up: they are a great team who genuinely care about producing the product their client wants, they are very nice but also professional. You won't be disappointed!

We could not recommend Anorda Photography more! They arrived at the wedding on time, and took pictures of anything and everything. They took one photo, however, that became even more special. This past Wednesday, my wife’s grandma passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly. She was extremely close to her as she grew up living right next door. The day she lost her life was a day of sadness for the entire family. However, Anorda Photography captured a photo at the wedding that became a centerpiece at her funeral. Everybody that saw it fell in love with it. They believed that it perfectly captured the kind of person that she was. , always helping others, especially her granddaughters. I’ve attached it to this review. If you want a photography team that not only takes incredible pictures but also captures precious moments, look no further!

Sam &Nick showed up on time and brought donuts for the bridal party! They were extremely organized and remained calm throughout the entire day. They worked well with my “high maintenance” family and made everyone feel extremely comfortable.

Sam and Nick are such a sweet couple. They make you feel as if you've known them forever. They have an exceptional talent and we could not have been happier with our pictures. They are simply beautiful! Our overall experience was absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend them for every occasion.
