Choosing Annmarie as our photographer was genuinely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning of the process, Annmarie was so communicative, kind, and open to all of our questions and priorities. During our engagement session she helped my now husband and I feel comfortable and have fun in front of the camera, and that's coming from two super awkward / camera shy people! Hiring Annmarie is like hiring a photographer, wedding coordinator, maid of honor, advice guru, and therapist all in one!!! The woman is a SEASONED PRO!! When she arrived at my venue on wedding day, my stress melted away because I knew she was just going to take care of everything. She DOES NOT MISS!! She was so on top of our timeline, wants, family dynamics, weather, etc. She works in seamless harmony with other vendors. And you can obviously see her work is 10/10 STUNNING. Book her!!!!!!!!!!!

Annmarie photographed our 80 person wedding in June 2022, and we could not be happier with how the images turned out and the experience we had working with her. As a couple that tried to steer away from some of the traditional wedding events, we were so grateful that Annmarie was flexible, easy-going, and didn’t try to push us into anything we didn’t want to do. At the same time, she was also vocal where she thought we might have regrets -- even when delivering the photos, she urged us to take the time to go through them together, rather than rush through it in between work meetings. In a wedding industry that can often feel fairly transactional, this was a much needed dose of perspective. From the first consult call to the wedding day, she exuded calm and good cheer, and was above all focused on understanding what we were looking for. All of our friends and family were amazed that we had a framed photo in hand, night-of :) We’d absolutely have her photograph any other events for us!

Annmarie is truly amazing, but she is way more than a photographer! From
the moment I first spoke to her I knew she had to be a part of our special
day. For a bride struggling to get through it all, she was ALWAYS there to
put my mind at ease. Annmarie was one of the best decisions we made for our
wedding. My husband and I aren't the most comfortable taking photos, but
Annmarie made it easy. Everything felt so natural and the photos captured
our emotions perfectly. She was well-organized, professional, and super
responsive to my never ending questions which created so much trust in her
and her services. We were pleasantly surprised with almost 100 photos for
our sneak peak! We have not stopped looking at our photos since we received
them. Annmarie does not take one bad photo. There wasn't one photo we
didn't LOVE. We received so many compliments on our photos as well as
comments about how lovely Annmarie was on our wedding day. We cannot
recommend her enough!

Annmarie Swift, without a doubt, is the best decision we made for our wedding day. From the very beginning, Annmarie was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and professional when it came to all things for our wedding. Not to mention - the talent!! There isn't a single image in our collection that I don't love, which makes picking out an album and photos to frame very difficult!! On our wedding day, Annmarie (and her rockstar assistant Kyla) were so great at making sure every formal we wanted was photographed as well as the sweet candids of us and all the details of the day. Annmarie also helped me stay calm during some of the stressful times and even helped my bridesmaids figure out my complicated bustle (seriously, she got on her hands and knees to help... did I mention she is amazing!?). We found Annmarie off of the preferred vendor list from Willowdale and we are so glad we did. She navigated the venue like it was her second home and it was really reassuring to work with someone who was an expert of the space since we had only visited a few times. Annmarie also delivered ahead of deadline - our entire wedding photo collection was delivered in 1 month (she said it would be 6 weeks). I am so grateful to Annmarie for helping to make our day so perfect and I am so impressed with her as a business woman and a talented photographer. I would recommend her services to anyone who is looking, you will absolutely not regret it!

It's impossible to say enough about Annmarie! Now for the unabridged version: When my now husband Jon, and I began planning our wedding in 2019, having quality photographs was one of the most important aspects for us both. We knew that investing in a skilled photographer was essential, so I scoured wedding sites, Instagram, and local photography sites for hours! As soon as I came across Annmarie’s website, I fell in love! I immediately reached out. Annmarie was extremely responsive and quickly set up a call so we could meet. Within moments of our call, I knew we had to hire her! She is warm, professional, and incredibly passionate about her profession. She took the time to get to know us as a couple and understand the “vision” for our wedding. Annmarie was extremely thoughtful and informative on everything from ideal lighting times to permits we would need to pull. Since photos were so important to us, we decided to invest in a more expensive package, but it was worth every penny! Annmarie took gorgeous engagement pictures for us at the Boston Public Garden and Beacon Hill. She knew the best spots to get the best shots. I can be extremely awkward especially when taking photos, but Annmarie put us right at ease. Our engagement shots were beautiful yet natural looking. Unfortunately Jon and I were one of the many couples forced to postpone our July 2020 wedding. We scheduled a call with Annmarie to discuss the plan moving forward. During the call, I broke down. Our stress levels were at an all-time high as many of our vendors were charging us high fees to reschedule, which we simply could not afford. While COVID brought upon a lot of stress and anxiety for couples, our vendors were also dealing with many hardships brought upon from the pandemic. Annmarie was very reassuring and accommodating in working within our initial budget. She truly cared about us and ensuring that we would get the experience we wanted. We essentially chose our new date solely based on her availability! In the following year Annmarie ensured that every t was crossed and i was dotted before her maternity leave began. And even when we changed venues 3 months before our date, she jumped right back in and made the necessary changes without skipping a beat! Her flexibility and adaptability was so helpful when everything else felt chaotic. Leading up to the wedding, she scheduled calls to finalize timelines and ensure we were all on the same page to get our most cherished moments captured. The day of the wedding, she arrived on time with a calming yet controlled presence. Annmarie has an incredible ability to multi-task. She was able to maneuver through Boston traffic, wrangle our large family/wedding party and manage to get all of the photos taken (even with an epic child tantrum thrown in there) all with time to spare! In addition to her professionalism and skill, her photos are amazing! We were provided with 900 magazine-worthy photos in under 3 weeks! She is so incredibly talented at what she does. Our guests cannot stop raving about how gorgeous they turned out. Words truly can’t express how appreciative we are for Annmarie’s compassion, understanding, and willingness to go above and beyond to work with us and give us the wedding photos of our dreams!
