Our experience with Ann Marie from Myrtle Creative Co was absolutely perfect. My husband and I were planning an intimate wedding and weren't really sure where to begin. Ann Marie helped to point us in the right direction with vendor referrals, planning advice, and so much more!

The day of the wedding, Ann Marie was on time, came prepared, and put her all into our day. At one point during our ceremony, my dress got some mud on it and Ann Marie had stain removing wipes and helped me to get the mud off. I thought that was such a sweet touch. She also had an umbrella for us when it started to rain a little. Additionally, she was able to make seamless changes to our schedule due to the rain, making it easy for us to enjoy the day and not have to worry.

We got our pictures back super quick and they are incredible! We are having a hard time picking our favorites because they're all just so gorgeous.

Overall, I 100% recommend Ann Marie and Myrtle Creative Co for your wedding/elopement photography! We will definitely be going back for more pictures from them in the future! Ann Marie made the process so easy for us and checked in with us regularly about how things were going. I am so thankful we chose Myrtle Creative Co for our special day!

Ann Marie has a wonderful organization and thoughtfulness to her work as a wedding photographer. She brought thoughtful questions and great organization to thinking about our wedding and the photos we hoped to gather. I was a bigger build for a bride and she made me feel absolutely beautiful and captured all of the most important details and moments intentionally. She was protective of my husband and I during our day and really made the experience a special one (full of sweet/attentive surprises both before and after). Ann Marie would do the same for any lucky couple!

Our journey with Ann Marie started when we won (after the first winners didn’t need it after all) her engagement photo package at the Portland Venue Crawl. We were beyond grateful and excited to win such a valuable experience and quickly realized that Ann Marie was going to be so fun to work with. She helped us pick an amazing location that required some travel for her, and it was so much fun - we got sun, fog, rain, sunset, and even a rainbow! She was prepared for it all and made it such a fun adventure. We were really nervous and she helped us chill and get a bit more comfy in front of the camera. She delivered our sneak peaks the next day which were so fun to look through and was extremely prompt with getting us the rest of our gallery. Naturally, we hired Ann Marie for our wedding too and cannot imagine having anyone else! She was so helpful through the stressful wedding planning process, sending us vendor recommendations and always being available if we had questions or needed advice. She has an amazing network and her want to help with things not even photography related was so impressive and very appreciated. There was a major health scare in my family, we weren’t even sure if my dad was going to make it to wedding day and Ann Marie was so kind and supportive. She captured moments for my family that carried a lot of weight and she did it with such grace and thoughtfulness. We are all so grateful for her commitment to making wedding day as special as possible, for my husband and I but also our loved ones. We’ve gotten an amazing selection of sneak peaks and should be getting our full gallery soon - we couldn’t be more excited! Ann Marie is impressively prompt and has communicated with us each step of the way so we were never left to wonder “what’s next?” All of our friends and family are also very impressed with Ann Marie as a photographer and as a person. Hoping to stay in touch and work together again in the future!!

Definitely one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. We had Ann Marie do our engagement photos and we loved her from the start and loved how they came out. We were devastated when we found out she was already booked for our wedding date, but she got us set up with one of her associates Elena at a discounted rate. Even though she wasn't going to be there on our big day she still put in so much effort to help us decide the timeline and the shot list. She kept in contact with us the whole time and really made us feel confident about the big day. She will still be doing the editing in her style and we are absolutely thrilled with the sneak peek shots we've gotten so far! She even threw in an extra photographer for us for free which was incredibly kind of her, although unfortunately that photographer was sick on the day of the wedding so we still ended up with just one. But Elena was great and made us feel totally at ease and got every shot on the list. She kept everything running on time despite the timeline having been created for two photographers. Ann Marie and Elena were a dream team to work with and I can't say enough good things about them.

Myrtle Creative was the best photographer a bride could ask for! My wedding party and I were blown away by Ann Marie's organization, industry knowledge professionalism, and incredible personality. Ann could have been our wedding planner too, with how much she helped us! I will be singing her praises for years to come. Without a doubt, Ann Marie was the best decision we ever made. Lets just say, Ann Marie is PURE MAGIC and everything will always work out.

I reached out to Ann ~1year in advanced from my wedding, at that time I had no true direction of the basic "where, when" details. I knew I loved the beach and the water was calling, but I was feeling the wedding pressure of a local celebration with ALL the family, then maybe an 'after wedding photoshoot at the beach'.

Anyways, months go by and probably 3 months prior to the wedding date, I changed up the whole plan. I added a small ceremony at the beach (on Friday), an a larger reception locally (on Saturday)! I was crossing my fingers and toes that she would have room for the extra day.

Ann was the best and so flexible with this change, she had already scouted the location (at the beach) and had so many Ideas! She was also amazing as a wedding timeline coordinator (for both days!), she created a detailed Itinerary down to the minute and was able to coordinate with the DJ, she has a vast knowledge of local vendors and resources.

She treated us like a close family friend would, making sure we ate food at the wedding and drank water. Making sure we had everything we needed at both locations.
Most importantly she made us feel comfortable, My (now) husband had never had professional photos taken before and Ann made it easy to relax in front of the lens.
She is the most amazing photographer I have every worked with. (Trust me I am particular with photos and who I choose to capture my memories in time)

Also her pictures speak for themselves, they are what photo dreams are made of and I love how she made it fun and relaxing. Granted, climbing up the Cape Kawanda sand dune in a wedding dress with frigid winds swirling around us was a challenge, but somehow Ann made it a magical memory, as if time was standing still and just spending time watching the sunset with my husband.

I love how pictures can say 1,000 words, and capture the emotions and energy of a moment. Looking back at these pictures not only transports me back in time, it instills confidence that I am ABSOLUTELY choosing Ann every single time.
