Ann Marie has a wonderful organization and thoughtfulness to her work as a wedding photographer. She brought thoughtful questions and great organization to thinking about our wedding and the photos we hoped to gather. I was a bigger build for a bride and she made me feel absolutely beautiful and captured all of the most important details and moments intentionally. She was protective of my husband and I during our day and really made the experience a special one (full of sweet/attentive surprises both before and after). Ann Marie would do the same for any lucky couple! -

Our journey with Ann Marie started when we won (after the first winners didn’t need it after all) her engagement photo package at the Portland Venue Crawl. We were beyond grateful and excited to win such a valuable experience and quickly realized that Ann Marie was going to be so fun to work with. She helped us pick an amazing location that required some travel for her, and it was so much fun - we got sun, fog, rain, sunset, and even a rainbow! She was prepared for it all and made it such a fun adventure. We were really nervous and she helped us chill and get a bit more comfy in front of the camera. She delivered our sneak peaks the next day which were so fun to look through and was extremely prompt with getting us the rest of our gallery. Naturally, we hired Ann Marie for our wedding too and cannot imagine having anyone else! She was so helpful through the stressful wedding planning process, sending us vendor recommendations and always being available if we had questions or needed advice. She has an amazing network and her want to help with things not even photography related was so impressive and very appreciated. There was a major health scare in my family, we weren’t even sure if my dad was going to make it to wedding day and Ann Marie was so kind and supportive. She captured moments for my family that carried a lot of weight and she did it with such grace and thoughtfulness. We are all so grateful for her commitment to making wedding day as special as possible, for my husband and I but also our loved ones. We’ve gotten an amazing selection of sneak peaks and should be getting our full gallery soon - we couldn’t be more excited! Ann Marie is impressively prompt and has communicated with us each step of the way so we were never left to wonder “what’s next?” All of our friends and family are also very impressed with Ann Marie as a photographer and as a person. Hoping to stay in touch and work together again in the future!! -

Definitely one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. We had Ann Marie do our engagement photos and we loved her from the start and loved how they came out. We were devastated when we found out she was already booked for our wedding date, but she got us set up with one of her associates Elena at a discounted rate. Even though she wasn't going to be there on our big day she still put in so much effort to help us decide the timeline and the shot list. She kept in contact with us the whole time and really made us feel confident about the big day. She will still be doing the editing in her style and we are absolutely thrilled with the sneak peek shots we've gotten so far! She even threw in an extra photographer for us for free which was incredibly kind of her, although unfortunately that photographer was sick on the day of the wedding so we still ended up with just one. But Elena was great and made us feel totally at ease and got every shot on the list. She kept everything running on time despite the timeline having been created for two photographers. Ann Marie and Elena were a dream team to work with and I can't say enough good things about them. -

We were absolutely thrilled with the exceptional service provided by Ann Marie! Ann Marie had so much to offer during the wedding planning process - she provided creative suggestions, was super organized, attentive, and professional. She even helped us find some of our other vendors! Day-of she was so fun to work with - creative, light-hearted, and proactive with her research of the area ahead of time and knew all the beautiful places to take us for photos. She also comes prepared with a "wedding day emergency kit" for any last minute needs (she is really skilled at scrubbing dirt out of wedding dresses!) ;) Overall, Ann Marie went above and beyond and captured our wedding day beautifully. We highly recommend her services! -

Elopement photographer
Ann Marie was/is the BEST choice for a wedding photographer! She talked to my husband and I regularly, updated us when needed and helped us when needing vendors.
When our wedding day came, it was POURING. She stuck with us through the rain, took our pictures and they turned out perfect. I cant thank her enough for the memories she captured from our elopement! -

Wedding day
We had hired Ann for our wedding day, she was in contact with us the whole time throughout the process and was very kind all throughout the whole deal. She was as excited as we were. Even though it rained she didn’t back out and had a wonderful experience. She took a bunch of amazing pictures and was super friendly the whole entire time. I would definitely hire her again in the future for family pictures. -

After the very first consultation call, I knew Ann Marie was the perfect photographer for my wedding.
After the very first consultation call, I knew Ann Marie was the perfect photographer for my wedding. Our personalities instantly clicked and she made a conscious effort to get to know Nate and I to better understand what we wanted. Her photos of us are absolutely gorgeous. I instantly made them my phone backgrounds. I had to, they were so pretty.
Not only is she a phenomenal photographer, she also helped me figure out what I wanted out of my wedding in general. I was never the type to daydream about what my wedding would look like so it helped a lot to have someone who actually knew wedding lingo and possible options on how events could play out during the big day.

Best photographer ever!
Words cannot even express how amazing Anne Marie is. From the minute we got on the phone I felt like I had hit the Jack pot. My wedding photos were so important to me because these photos will be what are passed down in my family from generation to generation. I wanted the best and I found her. Not only did she take jaw dropping photos of the groom and I but she really captured the decor, my family etc.
She also helped me every step of my day. She spent time with me on the phone planning my entire itinerary and knew exactly what I wanted and had a plan to execute it. She made me feel so comfortable and handled business. When any problem arose she jumped to fix it! She even had extra special things to make my day unique. It was truly remarkable watching her work. She knows what’s up!!!!! Trust me when I say! You found the right person to photograph your wedding or any occasion. -

Finding Ann Marie was the best thing to happen to us during our elopement journey. Her photos were breathtaking and more stunning than we could have ever dreamed of.
We paid for a photographer but received so much more in return. She is a geographical expert of the Oregon coast. Every beach we considered eloping on she has excellent knowledge of and a photo album to also go with the info she shared. She also provided recommendations for our officiant, hair/makeup and florist, none of which disappointed. She even gave recommendations to go along with our honeymoon road-trip down to the redwoods.
I can honestly say Ann Marie helped make our elopement and honeymoon magical.
To all my fellow LGBTQ couples. It was extremely important that my wife and I work with someone who supported us, as I’m sure it is to you. You are in safe hands here :) -

Amazing!
Ann Marie at Myrtle Creative Co. helped create an amazing elopement day… From our first meeting with Ann Marie we knew she was the adventure elopement photographer for us. Her organizational skills were as impressive as photographs of other weddings captured through her lens. We really enjoyed the planning process with Ann Marie, she provided a detailed itinerary, recommendations for other vendors and took the time to get to know us, our likes, dislikes, hobbies and things we enjoy. This made the wedding day an absolute blast. On our elopement day there was not a time during the day that we felt stressed or uncomfortable, it was actually fun because we were doing activities that we enjoy and hanging out with our now friend, Ann Marie. We have had so many people, friends, family, strangers fawn, gush, been in awe, impressed with the depth and breadth of our photography. The picture slide show from Myrtle Creative Co. we shared at our elopement luncheon was the hit of the lunch. So many people would stop a conversation to point out their favorite picture. The lanterns and her use of them along with the setting sun and rising moon were the most commented photos. One of the most important things about the entire day, during the ceremony, neither of us can recall seeing Ann Marie taking any pictures, never heard the camera, she was so stealthy and secret it was amazing to see the pictures shared and never remember Ann Marie being there to take them. We highly recommend Myrtle Creative Co. for any of your photography needs: Elopements, Weddings, engagement, family photos, etc. -

Amazing photographer!
We had a wonderful experience with Ann Marie. Our photos turned out amazing, and she was so easy to work with...calm, professional, efficient and kind. We did day after photos in the gorge (1 hr session, great value!) in addition to photos on the wedding day. In both sessions we got so many great photos. Ann Marie was working the whole time and captured so much! We were very impressed. Photos came back on time as expected and are great. Highly recommend. -

OMG - Ann Marie is amazing and has been really good to us beyond our wedding day. Our engagement photos had different 4 locations and got amazing pictures. She also gave us a complimentary session since we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID. We were late on getting sparklers, so she reached out to other coordinators and found them for our sparkler send-off.
On our wedding day, her second photographers were both unable to come so the day after our wedding, she gave us an adjusted bill with a refund. She busted her ass on my wedding day making sure that she was everywhere. She also wasn't afraid to interrupt me and send me where she needed. She was helping coordinate with my planner, bustling my dress, making jokes with the groomsmen, and generally making herself an asset.
And the photos are amazing!!!!

Professional and Detailed Oriented
I love Ann Marie! I am a planner and so is Ann Marie. She is super organized and detailed oriented and will make sure you don’t miss the small details! I loved the timeline she made for us. I was never worried throughout the planning process as she is quick to respond and will check in on a consistent basis. I was also drawn to her work. It’s real and beautiful. Like magazine quality. 2021 Update: Another year, another set of photos with Ann Marie! This time it was 2 anniversary photo sessions (a casual session at Cannon Beach and McMenamins Gearhart hotel, and a dressy/formal session at McMenamin's Edgefield hotel to honor our originally planned wedding venue that was cancelled by COVID) to use up the remaining credit from our original wedding, AND a separate surprise vow renewal session at Edgefield planned by my darling husband! We had soooo much fun working with Ann Marie and now we have a huge stash of incredibly lovely photos that we will treasure for years!
Ann Marie and Adam have been wonderful to work with in a difficult time. They were flexible when we had to postpone the original wedding to next year due to COVID, and even managed to fit us in when we decided to go ahead and elope this year. Ann Marie took incredibly gorgeous photos that I've been excited to share and went with the flow for a last minute location change for some extra photos that turned out PHENOMENAL. We can't wait to work with both Anne Marie and Adam next year for our rescheduled original celebration, and just know that we'll come away with even more stunning photos to treasure for years to come! -

I cannot say enough positive things about Ann Marie and Adam and the way they run their business! Ann Marie is not only one of the most incredible, genuine, and highly organized people I have ever met, but she is truly an unbelievable photographer. She kept us calm throughout the mess that has been 2020, including postponing and rescheduling our wedding, and they both went above and beyond to make our wedding day special. They kept the wedding flowing and answered more of our questions than the wedding coordinator! They do it all, and they do it all seamlessly. When we received our wedding gallery, we (along with friends and family) were blown away at the quality of the photos. They are incredibly detail oriented, and I feel like I am able to relive my entire wedding day through these. I could not be more grateful. They were amazing to work with from start to finish. This is a bit of an emotional review for me, because none of our wedding, NONE of it, would've happened if it wasn't for Ann Marie. She was and is a treasure. Leading up to our wedding on 9/3/2020, she was our rock for my now husband and I. We booked her a year in advance, and what sold us wasn't just their style of photography, but our video chat with her and her lovely husband Adam. She answered all our questions and were very straight forward, and they were fellow Metallica fans, big win!
It's because of Ann Marie we got THE BEST VENDOR TEAM EVER. She suggested so many of the vendors we hired, from our florist to our videographers to our DJs, and I cannot thank her enough for these suggestions and for being honest with them too. She has been doing this long enough that she remembers and KNOWS who is the best, and I love her so, so much for this.
Ann has been with us the whole way, when we had plans change because of the pandemic. She was the one who It took us 3 tries to get our engagement photos done, and together as a couple and with Ann, we did the hardest hike of our lives, all the way down to Abiqua Falls and she got my future husband SO relaxed and calm that she was able to capture the best photos ever of the two of us. We couldn't WAIT for our wedding day after that engagement shoot.
Ann went beyond the call of duty on our wedding day. She was in contact with EVERYONE. She had a timeline that we pretty much all used from the get-go. It was perfectly spaced out and had enough time for any type of screw ups to happen (which did on our wedding day as we showed up 30 minutes late to the venue, but we had planned for any screws up -- big tip, fellow brides: ALWAYS ADD BUFFERS). She was there in the bridal suite helping hang up clothes, check our hair, cracking jokes, offering bottles of water, holding things, calming nerves... I mean, WHO DOES THAT?? Even for the reception she was ON it, asking for water for others, checking in with folks, I was like, in awe of her. I'm still in awe of her -- and her husband!! Their banter together was the best.
Fellow COVID brides, hire Ann and her husband. If you're an adventurous bride especially who LOVES to hike and want to get the most gorgeous photos Oregon and Washington or anywhere in the PNW has to offer -- and it has a LOT to offer. Ann Marie and Adam are the photographers you want. I can't wait to book them again for our 1 year anniversary and our big ol' reception and whatever events or photography needs we have in the future. They are the BEST!! -

The were so amazing and captured all the moments that meant most to us on our special day! They were very flexible with scheduling and made posing for photos comfortable and natural. They are great about staying on schedule but also making soon you took time for water and snacks. We loved that we also got to take some time to take photos with our dog. They do such an amazing job and I appreciate them making the long trip to shoot our special day. I would definitely recommend them! -

Ann and Adam were BEYOND amazing. My wedding honestly would not have ran as smoothly without them, that is the truth! Anne Marie and Adam have serious down to earth charm. Both are creatively competent and passionate without losing the ability to develop relationships with their clients. I absolutely loved having them at our wedding and they will make you feel 100% confident your event will be captured well. They really have the empathy down for capturing "you"
Their portfolio is impressive and pricing is incredibly fair. I appreciated their transparency and professionalism. Every interaction was a pleasure and incredibly organized. LOVE these photographers!
Ann and Adam are truly amazing. I cannot recommend them enough! Their photos are true art, and their ability to make couples feel comfortable in front of the camera is inspiring and makes for some INCREDIBLE photos! I wish we could get married again just so we could hang out again! Also Ann and Adam are like a photographer and coordinator all in one! As you can imagine, weddings can be hectic but the two worked so well with my coordinator and they were SO organized. The day and pictures went so smoothly because of them AND I got to eat at my wedding because of Ann! They are all about the couple and making sure they enjoy their day. And the photos they took brought tears to my eyes. They were so beautiful and really caught who my husband and I are as people and a couple. You must go with this dynamic duo for your wedding! -
