Edna was incredible to work with! She was not only creative, but professional,courteous, and calm under pressure. Our situation was unusual because we already had an event planner when And Butterflies Too Events was hired to help us coordinate the church. (We received a last minute financial gift from a close family member, and our initial planner was unable to handle two separate locations at that point.) We were naturally concerned about the continuity of the design between the church and the reception venue since we would now be working with two event planners; however, Edna is the consummate professional and immediately put our worries to rest. Being sensitive to our unique situation, she worked tirelessly with the church and its staff to ensure that our wedding did not seem disjointed and that the church and reception venue's décor was seamlessly bridged. She worked independently and with the church's in-house coordinators to ensure that the colors at the church and the venue matched perfectly. She made sure the proper chairs were in place in the chapel and decorated, and the layout for 150 guests was optimal. She also coordinated the floral design, placement, and displays for our special day. She executed her responsibilities flawlessly. As you can imagine, our wedding was amazing! We owe a lot of its success to And Butterflies Too Events and their amazing leader Edna Blackwell.

Rouge Fine Catering had the pleasure of working with Edna, Candice and the And Butterflies Too event staff for an Anniversary Party in April. From the very beginning, Edna Blackwell was a pleasure to work with, making sure my team had everything we needed for success. On the day of, Candice was absolutely amazing! Her team knew exactly what to do and things could not have been more in order when we arrived. They handled all of the set up of the decor as well as breakdown and they were on top of every little detail! Not to mention, the design they created and brought to life was GORGEOUS! I was most impressed with the level of organization and how flexible and professional the entire team was. These ladies get the job done RIGHT!! We would be more than pleased to work with Edna, Candice, and their entire team again in the future.

Having And Butterflies Too plan and design my wedding was the best decision I made. Candice, Edna and their staff were absolutely amazing on the day of and during the planning.

Candice as a planner was very organized and there to help. I found I had a lot of questions where I just wanted to know what other brides were doing. Yes, I could have spent time researching online, but I trusted her opinion. She was there to help me deal with the stress and answer my questions. I never had a problem contacting her or feeling like our wedding wasn't her first priority. The day off I just showed up and got married! No freaking out her team handled everything. Even when my mom hit the bar a little too hard (it was a stressful day for her!) Candice talked to the bartender for me.

I choose to also have a design package. I knew what I wanted, but am easily side tracked. I wanted some one to make sure my ideas had cohesion. Edna just got me. I felt like I was able to tell her a theme and color scheme and she ran with it. She communicated her ideas and all I could say was YES! I became so excited about her ideas I let her surprise me with some of the details. I just knew I would love what she did. Edna helped negotiate my floral and rental contracts too! I gave her my budget and she even saved me money with her negotiations.

Like I said best decision EVER!

I can’t say enough about how much of a dream it was working with Edna and Candice and the And Butterflies Too team. Hiring these wonderful ladies to plan my event was easily one of the best decision I’ve made. I have never met anyone as organized and detail-oriented as the staff of the And Butterflies Too team. One of my biggest concerns was making sure my event was seamless, my family and friends have a great time and that we stick to a budget. And Butterflies Too exceeded my expectations. Everyone involved was very appreciative, loved the design and admired all of the extra details, beyond impressed with how smoothly everything went and had a great time. I truly enjoyed working with Edna and Candice and can’t wait until my next event so they can help me with it as well! I would highly recommend them to anyone in the future.

WorldClass, that's the level of perfection received working with Edna and company. Going down the road of trying to prepare a wedding can be very daunting. Working with Edna made the process a afterthought. From start to finish Edna's amazing vision of style, class, perfection and attention to detail took front center with making our wedding such a spectacular event.
