We worked with Amy Jordan for our garden wedding in Healdsburg and absolutely LOVED our experience with her. After having met with a handful of other local photographers in the area, we felt that she best captured the romantic story we wanted to share with our guests, and at a price range that we thought was very fair for the quality product she delivered. She was not only very professional, but also very comfortable to work with for people like me who is always very camera shy. She had an assistant that day with her, and we could tell they were both prepared and communicated well to not miss any special aspects of the day. Amy even came to our afterparty in downtown Healdsburg and captured the crazy moments we had at the bars, which turned out to be some of our favorite photos that day. Would 100% recommend her.

Amy is an incredible photographer and a first class individual. After interviewing several photographers in the Sonoma/Napa area, Amy was the clear choice. We instantly felt comfortable and appreciated her down-to-earth vibes. As for the booking experience, she customized her services to fit our exact needs, including a fun engagement photo session in San Francisco and our wedding ceremony a few months later in Glen Ellen.

When our wedding day finally arrived, Amy guided us through endless photos with humor and ease. We felt completely comfortable throughout the process despite not being the type of people who thrive being in front of cameras or the center of attention. We received our photos remarkably quickly, including a handful of first looks within 24 hours and the remaining photos within a few weeks. They came out way better than we could have imagined with a very natural look. We highly recommend Amy for both her talent as a photographer but also for her personal qualities as an individual. Amy was so lovely to work with! My husband and I planned a last minute court house wedding with a small reception after. We reached out to her about a month before the wedding date and she replied within 20 minutes and we scheduled a phone call for the next day. One of the deciding factors on choosing Amy for our wedding was her ability to get back to us so quickly and her amazing communication. Not to mention her amazing website and photos from previous jobs. I had a list of things I wanted to ask her on the phone call and she answered all the questions before I even asked them. She is such a talented photographer and was so great to work with. My husband and I rarely take photos so we had no idea how to pose for wedding photos or what to do but she made us feel confidante and constantly gave us instructions on how to pose and where to look and made us feel so comfortable the whole process. The booking process was so easy and Amy was quick to answer any and all of our questions to make sure we got exactly what we wanted on our wedding day. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and our photos were amazing!

Amy was a dream photographer to work with! When we got engaged, we knew we wanted a solid photographer and didn’t really understand how to choose. After connecting with friends and family, it became known that a unique style was the most important part of the photographer and their portfolio. After finding Amy and stalking her Instagram then subsequently chatting with her live, we knew we had booked the right person. She had a great deal at the time we booked which included engagement photos in the package. While we booked Amy pretty early on, finally the fall before our spring wedding arrived and we had our engagement shoot. For my husband and I who have never done professional photos before, Amy put us at ease immediately. The photos turned out great and we couldn’t wait for the big day! Until something unexpected happened in Amy’s personal life…as I’d still been stalking her on Instagram, I saw she shared and told my husband to prepare for Amy likely not be able to shoot our wedding. Amy called us almost immediately after sharing her personal news and told us that she had figured everything out and while she would not be there on the big day, she had associate photographers lined up and everything was taken care of. I was in shock (and also extremely thankful). The gals who shot our wedding were incredible and Amy couldn’t have chosen better people. I will also say that the way I chose my makeup and hair stylist was to go through Amy’s Instagram and see who she worked with at other weddings (as expected, both those vendors were incredible). In addition to all that was going on, Amy delivered our final photos EARLY. Cue: shock again and extreme thankfulness that I may be able to deliver my mom’s Mother’s Day gift on time. ;) If you’re looking for a beautifully shot, edited, communicative, all round good person in your photographer, look no further than Amy. We are excited to follow her journey and will most likely be hoping to book her again when the need arises.
