She asked if we still wanted our first look outside and when we said yes she did not hesitate for a second. She put on her boots and went right to work finding the perfect locations for our pictures. And that she did. She was so much fun to work with and her experience shows. She was like a wedding planner and photographer in one! I was planning our wedding from across the country during the Covid pandemic and Amy was the most integral part of making it all work. I can’t express enough how thankful we were to have her.

Amy is fantastic! We hired Amy as our wedding photographer. Shortly after booking Amy we traveled to Vermont and had our engagement photos taken. Immediately after meeting Amy and her husband, we felt like we had known them for years. They are so warm and so much fun to be around. They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and it really showed in our pictures. Unfortunately like many other couples, we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID-19. A year and a half later when our wedding weekend finally arrived, Amy made it feel like it was just yesterday that we spent the day shooting our engagement pictures. She put us at ease, and created a seamless schedule for our big day. Both my husband and I have big families and Amy and her team were able to keep everyone on schedule, and captured all of the photos that we had hoped to receive. It was such a relief having her there to keep us on track, so I didn’t have to worry! Most importantly, the photos are beautiful, and we know that we will enjoy them and the memories they bring us for years to come.

The morning after our wedding, when the dust settled, we spent some time reflecting on our favorite parts of the wedding. While there was so much that we loved about it, we both agreed that having Amy as our photographer was by far the best part of the whole experience. Amy and her husband, Dave, and their daughter Anna, worked as a unit (which was adorable in itself). They were efficient in their work, and Amy's joyful attitude and kind but direct communication style put everyone at ease. She took control of the photography experience, but not in an overbearing way. We come from divorced families, and Amy transcended complex family dynamics with humor, grace, and respect, not allowing room for old familial wounds to get in the way of our special day. From start to finish, the Bennett's made the day fun and flowing. Oh, and the pictures turned out incredible! In short, what we learned is that if there's one thing to spring for, it's a good photographer, and Amy Bennet isn't good, she's the best!

My husband and I can't sing enough praises for Amy Bennett and team! Quality, expert photography was a priority for our wedding, and from our first conversation we knew we wanted to work with Amy. She's very experienced and knows her way around many popular engagement photo spots and wedding venues in the area. Neither my husband or I are very comfortable having our photos taken, but Amy and her husband made us feel at ease at the get-go during our engagement shoot at Shelburne Farms.

Our wedding ended up being postponed over a year due to the pandemic, and Amy was so understanding and helpful with us pivoting our plans. She even came up with a solution to live-stream our wedding when we had to downsize the in-person guest count! She and her team impressed everyone at our wedding with their professionalism, organization and even expertise in non-photography common wedding problems (such as fixing uncooperative boutonnieres). We now have beautiful photos and the live-stream video to reminisce on the day for which we waited much longer than planned.

Amy and her team are WONDERFUL! The photos turned out just as beautifully as I'd hoped. Amy and Dave were so fun to work with, and their energy made us feel so comfortable. Amy was wonderful to work with. From the first communication, she was professional and responsive. When it came to taking photos, she really put us at ease and had great location ideas. We had to cancel our dream wedding due to COVID, but had hoped to use Amy for our photography. After viewing her gallery, we were convinced she would do an excellent job, and that she had a definite talent for photography. She was very professional, and helpful as we worked through the difficult process of setting up our wedding. After our cancellation, she was willing to fully reimburse us, and was very kind throughout the entire process. If we end up using Vermont for our future wedding, we will definitely be calling her back.

After our daughter's wedding was canceled twice due to Covid-19, we hustled to find a new photographer for a reimagined backyard ceremony with just a month's notice. Amy Bennett was amazing! She was reassuring and so supportive of the bride and groom and her easy going manner helped us plan a beautiful wedding. The photographs are wonderful! We feel so lucky to have found Amy and would recommend her to anyone!

Amy was 10000% more than I could have ever asked for in a wedding photographer. One year later and I am still shedding tears over her wonderful photos.

Prior to, she wad detailed, responsive and very organized. She was flexible in setting up a time to meet her for the first time as we were from out of state. And her personality - wow - I don't think she could have been anymore fun to work with. My guests raved about how entertaining she was all while managing the chaos of my wedding.

Day of, she along with her daughter and husband beyond amazing. They took charge when they needed to and arranged some of the most beautiful photos I have ever seen. Enter the rain. Amy and company helped take control of getting things situated inside as the rain (and by rain I mean torrential downpour) started right as I had walked down the aisle. She never missed a beat - or a photo. When the rain cleared out she was very calculated about when we needed to get back outside to finish our wedding party and couple portraits. Again not missing a beat, she jumped right on board when one of my bridesmaids suggested with stage our outdoor ceremony so that in photos, it looked like nothing ever happened. I was amazed that she was willing to go out of her way to make that happen.

In the end we have soooo many beautiful photos. They are bright, they are fun (not super posed), and they capture every single aspect of our special day, right down to the fog that came over the mountains/lake after the rain.

I would highly highly highly recommend Amy and her family if you are looking for an absolutely genuine human being with an outstanding talent.
